I was quoted a 12 hour stay price and was told it would only go up IF we went to the 24 hours. I picked my dog up in FIVE hours and the price was significantly higher! I know what I was quoted and told, do jot go to this place. All three times have been an absolute SCAM. Do NOT GO HERE.

Please read this before taking your animal here! We brought our 9 year old at the time Min Pin, Shakira on November 4th. They diagnosed her with Vestibular disease and a possible ear infection. We decided to let them monitor her overnight, in her best interests, and they called to say she was drinking and eating fine. The next day, we were going to pick her up but they called and said she had diarrhea, her red blood cell count is low, and she seemed uncomfortable. She didn't want to eat or drink either. They said that we should prepare for the worst outcome. We went to visit her that night and she looked horrible. Her right pupil was dilated and her left pupil was shrunk. She didn't move or acknowledge us at all. They said she was experiencing neurological problems and it was a possible tumor in her brain. They did an x-ray but didn't find anything from it. They were not equipped with any other medical machines. They did an agglutination test which is where they test her blood cells, and said she had IMHA, which is where her body was attacking her red blood cells. They also gave her a steroid or that's what they told us. We prepared for the worst. The next day, we went in to say goodbye, since they said she didn't seem to improve, and that was our "only" option at this point. We saw her and Shakira seemed more alert. She was moving her eyes to look at us, her ears were reacting, her pupils were both the same size, and we made a noise we usually make when we let them know it's time to go outside for a potty break, to which she perked her ears up. We asked the doctor why she seemed so different than the previous night, and they said she wasn't really responding and that she wasn't moving at all. The night before, my family and I searched up what might've happened to my dog, and we thought she could've had a stroke. The doctor told us it's not common in dogs, and they didn't want to say it was a possibility. It felt like they weren't giving us all our options, such as taking her to a more equipped animal hospital to get scans. They gave us chicken pieces to see if she would eat it, but she didn't. They finally allowed us to take her home after expressing our opinions that she seemed better. We fed her chicken broth and water through a syringe. The next morning, she was licking peanut butter. She just seemed to have a hard time chewing and could only lick. We watered dog food down for her and she eagerly lapped it up. We took her for a second opinion, on November 9th. It took a few days for results but they concluded there was no evidence of an ear infection on the MRI scan, she DID not have a tumor, she DID not have IMHA, and she DID have a stroke and inflammation on her brain. They gave her steroids and two shots of an immunosuppressive medication, because she was diagnosed with immune mediated meningoencephalitis. She is recovering very well, she can walk by herself again, able to eat regular dog food, go to the bathroom by herself. She was given a death sentence and left optionless. Now she is 10 years old, her birthday was November 11th, and is able to do the things she did before the incident. This hospital should not be a qualified ER for animals or needs major retraining. They need to give people options to change hospitals if it's in the animals best interest. They should not seem to have the final say in the animals diagnosis or prognosis. Please consider taking your pet for a second opinion. We almost didn't get one but our dog wanted us to know she was still there. This was truly a traumatic experience and we will never bring any of our animals here again. We do not trust them at all and probably never will.

For actual care I would say this is 4.5 stars, for administrative problems I would say 2 stars so averaged to 3. Usually an appointment is about 2 or more weeks out if you don’t want to do an “emergency visit,” so basically it’s better to do an emergency visit for most things which always costs more than a scheduled visit. They also direct people to contact via email, which apparently is outsourced. Most recently they scheduled a surgery appointment through email, then moved it without letting me know. Luckily I received an automated email to confirm my new appointment 2 days before the new appointment. When I asked about this I was told this is a common problem (so they should fix this). Overall the techs and vets give great care. Depending on who you talk to they might recommend things for your pet that might be a bit excessive, but I feel like they are great with my pet. If there was a better option that offered the same level of care with shorter lead time for visits and still offered emergency care nearby I would go there, but for now this seems like the best option.

They are wonderful people! When my little Tina was bitten by a large dog they were able to help her and get her the care she needed and stay within a budget that we had I was very appreciative. It was an extremely upsetting experience but your staff help calm and reassure us that it would be okay! Thank you to all that helped!

UPDATE: I had gotten in contact with them and they were very professional and listened to my story about what happen. I was told to email them proof that my dogs had their shots already and the money would be credited back to me. I agreed and understand they need the proof. Do to unfortunate events I have been unable to receive one of my dogs shot records but I did email my other dogs records and have not heard anything back in two weeks about it. I also called up there a few days ago and was told they would work on getting back to me and nothing. What a joke this place is. ???? This place is horrible! They charged me $300 for two nail trims and to have ONE of my dogs checked out! They insisted on seeing my dogs shot records which are at my dogs primary vet office and then when I told them which ones they had they gave them to them AGAIN! And then gave one some but nor the other to screw up their shots all together! These people have no clue what they are doing. I will never go there again I got scammed big time.

Absolutely terrible, first you call with your dogs medical emergency and they tell you to wait outside. Then the receptionist who cannot figure out a computer, is trying to get all your info slowly and not efficiently. Their card readers are the slowest possible ones ever so while waiting another set of people rush in without waiting and are able to take their dog in without following mask guideline or rules. Then the slow receptionist comes out and tries to gather more info, she said they operate like a ER facility… last I checked you take the patient in and then gather history later. I ended up taking my card from the large slow lady and had to rush my dog to a er clinic that processes them right. TAKE YOUR ANIMALS ELSEWHERE.

They diagnosed my kitten with a death sentence because they’re lazy and gave up on him. They’re also unresponsive to their customers. Said they would call us to confirm the diagnoses and never did. That’s not really an answer that can wait. This was months ago. My kitten is alive and healthy by the way, we got treatment elsewhere easily. I’ll never come back here, they don’t care.

My poor little girl was having some health issues since taking her to another vet for her rabies shots. I turned to Community Pet Hospital for her care. They have been absolutely wonderful!! I have seen 3 different doctors on 3 separate occasions. They have all been very kind and compassionate. The front desk is also kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend this place if you want your fur baby cared for with love and compassion. I just had to lay my baby girl to rest, and I am so thankful to have found these people to be the ones to help us through this hard time. RIP my sweet Tootsie. Thank you all for being so very kind. Update…. Received a card from them today with her paw prints and a nice message from the doctor. So thoughtful and I am so thankful. My heart is full to have such caring people caring for our pets.

I can't say enough to describe how I feel about this pet hospital. Last week I had the tragic circumstance of my puppy choking on a Greenie dental chew. At home we performed the heimlich to try an assist, tried to pull the chew out, and began transporting my pup while performing CPR in my truck. We called our regular vet during regular business hours for help and they turned us away (they were 4 minutes down the road). We drove over to Communuty Pet hospital and even though by the time we got there my pup was gone, the staff at this pet hospital did everything they can. They recognized the emergency, performed CPR and did everything they could. Even in a no hope situation they made the difference by caring and being animal medical providers. Even when there was no hope, they went all out. So much so that I will be making them our primary vet. To the staff if they get to see this, thank you for everything. Yall have the commitment, compassion, and courage that every pet and pet owner deserves out of a vet.

If you can find a dumb friends league near by I would go there first.this place only try’s to milk you for your money and can care less about your fur babies it’s only about the money and it’s not cheap!they let my 2 puppies die because I couldn’t pay 5000 for vet care all Because I took my babies to the park and they got parvo I’m heart broken and they don’t care they said no money no service even after I paid over 700 to get them seen and tested but they only gave me the choice to pay 5000 each or take them home to die and they only lived 4 days and passed in my arms????

As terrible and sad as our situation ended up being, Community Pet Hospital was great. We rushed our 11 yr old Samoyed/Husky mix here early Monday morning. He was attended to quickly and we were given an estimate of prices for the blood work, then given the option of a blood transfusion to try and save our dog's life, which the veterinarian seemed to think was unlikely to be successful. Our dog was in real bad shape and very scared and she agreed that it was best to put him to sleep. Having to do this was extremely hard but our dog was in good hands and we were there next to him as he passed in the most peaceful way possible given the circumstances. Thank you for doing all you could for our dog, Levi. We miss him very much.

This place is a joke don’t bring your pets here unless you want to pay 100 dollars for emergency to wait for 4 hours and not get seen

Go elsewhere if you love your pet. I've been to great vets and staff, seriously bad service, like most, my dog is like my child. They want to blame me, then write rude things about you in chart, their viewpint so your following vets office will read and possible judge you. It's seriously a joke place.

Dont come here unless you want your pet to die! My dog got bite by a dog and they said they have a wait! Instead of checking him out and letting us know he is stable they gave us a list of hospitals to call! this place is a joke. Dont come here

Super friendly, great honest advice about our pets health. They didn’t pressure us into doing anything we didn’t agree with. The doctor was so sweet and compassionate. And I love that my kids had a small place to play while we waited for our Brutus to get his care.

Our Chihuahua Chico started having breathing issues and small seizers so we decided to take him to Community Pet Hospital. We called prior to arrival and they instructed us to bring him in. When we arrived they took Chico's information and immediately took him to the back. They checked us in while they were examining Chico. A short time later they came out and told us he would need x-rays gave us the price and we agreed. The news was not good but they gave us options and we decided to let them treat him and we would pick him up that night. It was a very long day, we finally were able to pick him up at 10:30 that night and he seemed to be doing better. They scheduled a follow up appointment and even called us a couple of times at home to check on him. He was doing really good for a few days until yesterday. His seizers returned, he wouldn't eat, couldn't walk across the floor and he was not the same. My husband called in the morning asking about our options and they told him to call 30 minutes prior to bringing him in. When we arrived they were very busy but came out and led us to a very nice private room so we could say goodbye. The staff is so caring and companionate and gave us as much time as we needed with our little guy. I do not understand the bad reviews we never waited and we never questioned his care. I would highly recommend this clinic for your fur babies. I would like to thank the staff that helped us through all of this, you do not have an easy job, thank you so much for caring.

It saddens me to right such a low review for this place. I used to take both my dogs here but that changed when I was asked to wait 6+ hours for an emergency visit. It takes at least 3 months for a normal visit (which is not an option if your dog is vomiting and has diharea) or $95 to wait at least 2 hours in their parking lot for an emergency appointment. I dont even consider an urgent appointment an option at this point because in the 5 or 6 times I have tried to call at exactly 9am there is never one available. I took my dogs to Legacy Vet Clinic and am able to get in next day without any issues. Sadly I will never be back. My suggestion to managment is, make it possible to get in for minor appointments or make an update on your website that gives people an idea of how long they will wait for an emergency visit since this caption does not work on Google.

They helped my fur baby after being attacked by another dog I will be forever grateful. Very decent pricing and excellent care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. You won’t be disappointed.

I brought my dog over for an allergic reaction. They triaged him and told me to head home and they would text me to come back. After 6 hours they never texted me, they did not even apologize when we called, again 6 hours after being told it would only be a couple of hours. I get prioritizing critical animals but 6 hours isn't ok at all especially without so much as an apology.

I never write reviews but this has easily been the most stressful few weeks I’ve had in my whole life. We had been taking our kitten here for awhile trying to find out what’s wrong with him. It feels like they gave up on us because they diagnosed him with a terminal illness and then never even called us back to confirm anything. I understand having delays on tests but you’re talking about a death sentence not really caring about the emotional burden it’s been for me and my partner. It feels insensitive and unprofessional to not consider how hard this has been for us and not having communication makes it worse. If you didn’t know how to help us just say that instead of ghosting us. I don’t have any interest to come back here because we went somewhere else and found treatment almost immediately.

Went for an emergency and got turned away as they said they were to busy and a doctor is not there past 2am. So 24 hour emergency is really not emergency. Don't go here for emergencies.
