Did a crop job for our puppy with some very questionable technique. Suture was hard to get out and contributed to an infection. Our vet attempted to contact Dr. Erin and she didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to her peer. Would not recommend.

Dr. DeTurk has been our primary vet for about 8 years now, and when she recommends another clinic if she is unavailable for an urgent matter, you know you will only receive the best card and treatment! She recommended Fox-Run Animal Clinic/ Tri-Lakes Animal Emergency Care to us for an urgent health concern with our little fur baby Grace. Dr. Wilwerding & his staff were hands down the best thing that could have happened to our little family and fur baby. Dr. W. was so patient, knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever it took to help our little girl. My wife Ali and I could not be more grateful to T-L Animal Emerg. Care for caring for our little Grace so thoroughly and passionately. They offered a peaceful, pressure-free care plan. Even though we would have done anything & everything necessary to diagnose/treat/care for our pup, there was no pressure tactics to perform any of the diagnostic tests etc. All of the staff even stayed beyond closing hours to perform a procedure that was life saving, & they even waited a little longer afterwards to let all of the IV fluids finish and ensure she was in the clear. Our little miniature Shar-Pei has always been an excellent character judge, even when she has been at her most weak/sick moments, Grace was great with all of the staff, and even developed a crush on Dr. Wilwerding. As a Shar-Pei, this should tell you everything you need to know about the care team there. They saved our girl from certain death, and were able to diagnose, intervene and prevent what would have turned into a GDV, which would have most likely taken our girl away from us before her time. I would recommend Dr. Wilwerding and his staff without any hesitation! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts you guys! Ali, Sean, and Grace ???? DiAsio

Yesterday morning I took my 3 year old doodle (brown dog) to dr deturck because his eyes were red and his vision changed. I thought it must be an allergy or something,,,, but sadly, upon physical exam she discovered he had swollen lymph nodes. After several hours of blood and node samples she had to tell me he had lymphoma. I was devastated and in shock, but all staff there and she, were supportive, professional and I left with an oncologist appointment nov 9 and my pup was comfortable. They made a bad situation tolerable. I recommend them to all my neighbors.

The doctor that runs this place is very unprofessional. I heard her yelling and cussing at her subordinates in the back. Pretty sure she made one of them cry. Do not recommend this place to treat your animals, seen too many articles where temper-prone doctors abuse customers' animals.

My cat Mimi developed diabetes and Dr. Erin and staffing have really been a great help through that process. The little round disk on Mimi is a LibreLink that enables me to take glucose readings on my phone. Much less stress for Mimi and me. This is a very knowledgeable and caring vet practice where you get really good service for your pets!

well brought a new AKC Doberman Pinscher three weeks ago. took my puppy to monument vet clinic. Dr Erin answered all my questions which were many never owning a doberman before. My puppies name is Luna and had her ears cropped so being i was flying with her to my farm in the caribbean i had many questions about that also. Dr Erin gave me all the medications needed for her care while away. i’m very happy with the staff cyndi, and Hannah for insuring i received the videos on her ear care. one staff member last week gave me the run around causing me to continue calling until cyndi picked up the phone and put me in touch with Hannah my hero of today. The emails were arriving under Erin the Dr. not monument vet clinic. Thank you cyndi, Hannah and Dr. Erin for all you do and have done for my Luna. She’s being trained as my Service dog. I will be returning to the springs and will continue my care with this clinic. I do recommend this clinic for your pets. Shalom

Dr. Erin DeTurck and her team have done an amazing job caring for my Doberman, Furiosa. Furiosa is of a work dog bloodline and presents several challenges. She’s high energy, extremely strong, and downright difficult when her attention strays. Dr. Erin DeTurck and her team have attended to Furiosa consistently and gently, which I believe could only be possible using dog hypnosis and/or sorcery. I highly recommend Monument Veterinary Clinic, 10 of 10

With the Covid-19 going on times are hard on all but the important changes that have been made were not shared with me via telephone or in person. I took my two 7 month old Dachshunds in to be spayed. I had to stand outside with a clipboard and fill out paperwork. I had to choose options about bloodwork possible dental care and dollar amounts that frankly pushed the price of a spay way high. I did not feel confident asking the young girl standing in front of me. So I made the best guesses I could. Then when I came back to get my pups I read on the door they would only except credit card payment over the phone. When was I supposed to be told this? Not a happy camper! I did not feel good about the entire process.

This vet clinic seems far more interested in making money than actually taking care of the root issue. Our dog needed a minor, routine procedure done that would normally cost 1/4 of the price at other vet offices. As others have mentioned, we were told the additional services ($$) were a necessary part of treatment, which proved to be incorrect and ineffective. Furthermore, the inexperience shows.

Outstanding veterinary care in the COS area! Erin, Linda, Jessica - the entire team - have provided my golden retriever 5 years of exceptional care. A year in advance of a move to Hawaii, they assisted me with the quarantine process on the mainland. When a challenge appeared weeks before the move re: the new embargo on large dogs flying, Linda researched, vetted and assisted in locating a ground transportation company to move the dog to LAX to meet the cargo carrier company who would fly him to Hawaii. He arrived well and safe thanks to the professional and compassionate care provided by Erin and the entire staff at Monument Vet Clinic. We will miss you all. Aloha!

We can't say enough good things about these guys. We have had only terrible experiences at several Veterinary places here in town over the last 14 years and so we were extremely reluctant to try a spot in a strip mall. But after Front Range Vet turned us away with our dying cat because "we did not have an appointment" this place got us in within an hour when we told them what was going on. Dr. Erin and her staff are sincerely caring and gentle with both our pets and our emotions(after we lost our cat and our nervousness with any medical procedure with our dog). We trust them explicitly and feel so fortunate that we found a safe, sweet and skilled place to take our most beloved friends. Thank you guys!

I brought my pup in sick from chocolate poisoning. The staff got him in right away, were very thorough in his treatment, and made every step of the process very clear so I could make well-informed decisions. The nurses and doctor were kind and respectful toward me, and treated my dog lovingly. Actually, as a dog who's generally terrified of the vet, he did very well here in terms of anxiety. I would take my dog here again in an emergency. I don't know how their prices compare to other emergency vet hospitals, but our fee seemed fair. Based on my experience, I think you can trust your pets in the hands of this hospital. (If you like my review, please let me know with a ????. Thanks!)

My husband has been taking his dog to this vet for years... However, we got a new puppy that is almost a year now and I would have to say the service is terrible. I was just at the vet with my dog on Friday to get some medicine for his face that breaks out. Called the following week to see if we could get some more of the pills because his break out has not gone away and this has been going on for months. They suggested that I had to bring him back in and pay another visit and I was just there and they have all records on file?!?!?!? Also, the girl that is supposed to filing the claims with the insurance does NOT do that!!! It's almost like we are a bother to them every time we go in!!!! Plus they are way over priced!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Erin for the past 9 years and I highly recommend her. Initially before finding her, I went to 4 other vets in the Colorado Springs area, trying to figure out what was going on with my miniature dachshund. Not only did she figure out what it was but she told me what she thought it was before running the tests and she was right! I truly believe my dog would not be here today if it was not for her. Her staff is very kind and accommodating! I highly recommend Monument Vet Clinic!

Beware of this vet if they're nudging you to put down your pet. I actually waited almost a year before posting this, because at the time I was very upset and never want to leave a review for someone based on purely emotions. My cat became extremely sick overnight. I brought him in and the doc at the time, (a lady, but to be fair I don't think she was the doctor I see on the website) advised me that my cat's bladder was blocked and that it was likely cancer. He would be dead soon almost 100% for sure. I was advised in not so subtle terms to put him down. I asked to see the ultrasound and there was no visual of cancer, just a very full bladder. I could not accept putting my cat down with no evidence. I was extremely upset because this cat is my best friend. I was told repeatedly that this could get really expensive for me, that I should probably just put him down that day. I decided to take him to another vet, a cat specialist up in castlerock. I told the doc this and she said "I've heard mixed things about that place." Well turns out the vet in castlerock went to Cornell and was extremely competent. She quickly determined that my cat simply had a bladder infection. He was treated and in a few hours was on the road to recovery. It was definitely not cancer. He has now been healthy for almost a year and a very happy cat. The worst part is the doctor at monument veterinary clinic was arrogant, she repeated things things like "we see this all the time," and actually tried to dissuade me from going to a better vet (shame on you for that in particular). I was new to owning cats and really didn't know much, I almost listened to her, but listened to my instincts instead. I was dissuaded from pursuing other treatment options because, as she put it "they might be able to do something, but it could get really expensive for you, especially if it's cancer." This is my first cat, so I had no idea until later that they could have totally drained my cat's bladder right then and eased his suffering. Instead they gave him a pain killer and sent us on our way. My cat had to wait a couple more hours while I waited for my appointment and transported him up to castlerock. Just the treatment we did receive cost me something like $300 - 400. I'm really glad I listened to my instincts and did not take the advice of this clinic. You should never try to dissuade someone from going to another vet or seek other treatment options.
