My Brother and I spent the last moments of his best friend, "Hershey's" time with us. They are very caring people who love animals as much as I do. Thank you for being there for my brother and Hershey...

The staff here is very kind and attentive. I can schedule next day appointments with no problems usually! The veterinarians here are very very nice and really listen to any issues related to your pet. I can't recommend a better practice!

The provider's and staff are always very helpful. We had to say goodbye to our 13 year old lab Maya. We felt well taken care of. They were very gentle and compassionate. Our Maya passed peacefully and she was surrounded with love.

We've been using this LPAH for 9 years now. We love them. They have a great staff and treat our pets with dignity and care. Amazing team, amazing doctors. Always a pleasure to work with.

Brought our dog in there for the first time. He’s generally very nervous and needs to wear a muzzle, but they did really good with him. They game him shots and drew some blood, and was still eating cheese out of their hands by the end of it, so I call it a huge success. They were very sweet with him.

We boarded our dog here. Super friendly and accommodating to our dogs medication and food diet (he needed pumpkin added to his food). Overall will come back. Also lower prices compared to the prices my partner paid in Texas boarding for his dog.

This happened several months ago, but a recent conversation jogged my memory to write a review. We started out bringing our dog to LPAH when he was a puppy. As he grew older, he started getting chronic, severe ear infections that required frequent timely vet visits. We were having a hard time getting him in for quick appointments with LPAH, so we starting bringing him to Cambridge. After about a year with Cambridge, we were not very happy with the level of care there, so we decided to switch back to LPAH. We brought him in for something (maybe a checkup? Shots? some reason), and assumed that they would be our primary vet after that appointment. Fast forward a few months, and our boy got another bad ear infection. We called LPAH to make an appointment, and we were told that they had appointments within the next few days, but we couldn't have one since we had seen another vet in the past and we were not "loyal customers." And we would have to wait 1.5 weeks to get him in for an appointment. There was absolutely no concern about his level of discomfort, or any advice to keep him comfortable in the meantime- just "sorry, we have open appointments for our loyal customers but you'll just have to wait." Poor boy would have been struggling with a fever and vertigo for a week and a half! This vet might care about customer loyalty, but they clearly do not care about animals.

They are just awesome. Amy is just fine when we get here. So they must be doing something right. She got like five shots last time we were here .

We love this hospital. They are very compassionate and excellent with the animals. When our sweet dog Dudley was ill, they took great care with him and us. When he passed, Dr. Becker was so sweet and even called us to tell us how sorry she was. Wonderful vet.

The people who work there are very special to me, they helped me through a very tough time. After they cared for my dog they even sent me a sympathy card that was very nice and touching.

I really liked this vet office when we first moved to Longmont, but our recent boarding experience was so hellacious I simply can’t continue going here for any services. My family boarded 4 dogs for a week recently and we had never done this before. We were nervous but assumed the fact it was attached to a vet was a good thing. When we returned from our trip we paid over $900 for all four dogs as one of our dogs was pooping blood while we were gone and required medical attention. Within a few days my boy dog, fully vaccinated mind you, came down with kennel cough. I promptly called the vet to let them know his symptoms and they told me there wasn’t much to do which is true. I also assumed they would let the other families know they had a case going around so others could monitor. My mother and father’s boy dog, also fully vaccinated, came down with the same symptoms. They NEVER received a call from the vet to warn them. Within two days their dog became septic with pneumonia and died. We were all so heartbroken and genuinely traumatized. We will now NEVER kennel our dogs again and quite honestly I would encourage longs peak animal to stick with veterinary care as their boarding is sub par. Not only did they ignore my mother’s frantic calls while their dog was dying, the owner and vet Dr. Myer was very defensive when my mother wanted to seek reassurance about the obvious outbreak of kennel cough they had. We had already confirmed with other customers a total of 5 dogs with kennel cough. With these numbers you would think the vet would call ALL families whom had boarded there to notify them AND shut the boarding down for a serious decontamination. Overall, I am most put off with the fact that Dr. Myer spoke down to my mother with a condescending tone and disregard for her desire to be refunded her boarding fees for this heartache. She actually interrupted my mother several times to tell my mother it was her turn to speak and she was adamant that her kennel was doing everything correctly and she would NOT change a thing. She was very very rude. No reassurances, no refund of money, thousands of dollars later, and a dead dog. DO NOT GO HERE FOR BOARDING. If you choose to go for vet care I would avoid Dr Myer as I have heard she has a less than stellar attitude and can confirm this to be true. She may have wanted to do more to make our family feel more taken care of as Longmont is a small town and we all work with the public. We will be telling all our friends with furry family members to steer clear! I am so so upset with this whole thing.

Average care but cost is high, no personal checks accepted either. It’s also in a dangerous location and difficult to get out onto 66 Hwy without getting T-Boned. Nail trims are almost $20 too, seems pretty high. Paid for a checkup and the vet never even listened to heart, breathing, physical examination, etc. They take the pet back to the ‘back room’ for the majority of the exam so you don’t even see anything happen. You just have to take their word on vaccinations, detailed exam, or anything else apparently. The receptionists are not very friendly either and seem like they just want to get paid and get you out the door.

My dog passed away 6 days after he was boarded at LPAH ( Longs peak animal Hospital) during my vacation Jan 4th through Jan 11th of 2020. Our family had 4 dogs boarded all had up to date Bordetella vaccines and 2 dogs came down with Kennel cough. One recovered and my 7 year old dog did not. His condition at the emergency vet was diagnosed as severe pneumonia the the vet said was most likely a secondary condition from Kennel cough. A different family was at the emergency vet and all 3 of his dogs had Kennel cough as well. He told me he also boarded his dogs the same week at LPAH. I called LPAH the morning of admitting my dog to the emergency vet and left 2 messages. I never received a call back so I called them 4 days later to ask to speak to the owner or manager. I received a call from the manager who was very compassionate but had no medical background. Two days later the owner called me to defend her business and said they followed protocol and would not change any measures in the kennel for precautions and sorry for my loss.

Dr Grossberg and Dr Becker are the best vets in town BY FAR. Catherine and Trinity at the desk are amazing. The entire staff is -Super friendly -Caring -Experienced -Professional You always feel like you are in great hands. Their prices are also super reasonable. Considering how great they are they could honestly charge a lot more. Our pet Rabbit Bella is very happy with them and we are too. I just cannot imagine how we got by before this vet. Thanks to everyone at LPAH and keep up the amazing work.

This has been my vet for the last two years and they always do a great job! We have a super hyper crazy lab that loves going to the vet and a very timid blue heeler Australian shepherd mix that would rather hide behind my legs than socialize with people and they do great with both personalities. They're always super nice and thorough amd pricing is great! The humane society charges $51 for an exam and I paid $52 for out last exam so for me it the better option rather than sitting in a crowded waiting room for a long time at the humane society.
