I drive out of my way to come here. I have had some negative experiences with past veterinary hospitals (the vet speaking too emotionally towards me, refusing to combine procedures (ultrasound and vaccine) so that I have to come back and pay another $$$ just to get a vaccine, and recommending a lot of unnecessary things at very high prices as well. Not here. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. One time, my cat puked in the car ride and the tech helped me chase my (very agitated) cat around the room and wipe him off. The doctor is very straightforward and knowledgeable, tells you how it is, and is wonderful towards my pet. Prices are fair, and I don’t ever get the feeling like they are just trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible. Not to mention, I adopted my first kitten during 2020 and this was the only place that allowed me to be with him in the room (masked of course) which really meant a lot as a new pet owner. It also made me feel empowered to make decisions with my pet as I could have a real conversation with the doctor, instead of handing him off, being told what to do over the phone, then handing over my credit card. I can tell that they not only care about the animals, but the humans that coexist with them as well.

This is by far the best vet I've ever experienced. Our pets have lived in and gone to vets in 4 different states and we tried a couple different vets out in Denver; none of them compare to Valley. We are so grateful for the wonderful and professional staff there and we know our animal companions could not be in better hands.

When I brought Furbucket in I was preparing to lose her. Today, after recovering from surgery she is playing with toys and her sibling again. Thank you.

I take both my kitties and 2 dogs here and couldn’t be happier! Not only is a vet clinic that doesn’t break the bank but I genuinely feel like they care about me and my pets. Absolutely love the staff and appreciate them keeping my babies happy and healthy!! Thank you!!

Dr. John and staff are just really amazing people and they really care for all the animals. They tended to all three of my pups with care and Dr. John always gives the best advise about caring for my pets. Highly recommend this place for all pet owners.

We have 2 rabbits who are part of our family. Rabbits medical needs and care in general are different from a dog or cat. Picking a new vet can be stressful. We needed to get our rabbits their checkup's and neutered. I did some research, called several vet's and when i cslled Valley Vet, i was greeted by super friendly, professional staff who made it easy to set up an appointment, and were upfront about the cost of services and knowledgeable about rabbits. we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and helped right away. The clinic was super clean and inviting. Dr. John did a thorough examination on Tessa, spent time with us and answered all our questions, offered advice and information, he's not rushing to get to the next patient. We're fortunate to have dr. John a rabbit savvy veterinarian here in the Denver area. The staff kept us updated throughout the procedure and called to check in after we were home. I feel Valley veterinary Hospital went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.

This clinic is outstanding. My cocker spaniel had blood in her stool and I was understandably very upset. They went out of their way to make an appointment for her quickly and got it resolved. I am so grateful for their help.

Dr. and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very professional and Dr. is well respected amongst other veterinary professionals. I was first referred here by another veterinarian’s office for the care of a pet bird with a broken beak. Have come back with our dogs. Thanks so very much for all the great care!

Very friendly here with reasonable prices. The veterinarian is super kind and will tell you how it is. Doesn't try to rip you off and make you do things to your pets that's not needed

DONT bring lizards here. Very kind staff, reasonable prices, but not good for exotics. I had a leopard gecko I brought here with concerns about his eyes, the vet was kind and offered some eyedrops. A month or so later the eyedrops did not seem to be helping and my gecko was declining in heath. I returned with more concern and issues and was simply offered more eyedrops. Assuming the vet was the expert and knew best I did what he said and my gecko continued to decline in heath as I predicted with the same issues he was having. I made an appointment with a new vet but it was too late and my gecko passed. The vet here was dismissive and unqualified to be working with exotics. And no files seem to be kept. Im sure he is fine with cats and dogs but dont bring your exotics here.

My rattie ended up getting an abscess on his tum and I took him to Dr. Summar. He was knowledgeable about rats and seemed like he cared about my pets wellbeing, not like he was trying to make a quick buck off of me like some other places have done. He also addressed other issues with my lil guy and set up a good plan moving forward. Not to mention the price was very fair. I've been to other places that have charged an arm and a leg just for a consult, but not here! Fair price for a consult and medicine. I will come here now for all my animal's needs.

The Valley Veterinary Hospital has been the best vet that I've ever been to. They're great, super knowledge, very kind and understanding. I take both my cat and dog there for their shots/check-ups. I would recommend them to anybody!

*Worth the read* Dr. Summar and his team at Valley Vet is EXACTLY what you want in a vet for your animal. I have had 4 animals and been to several veterinarians and he tops them all. I currently have a 7 month old Siberian Husky named Luna. I got her when she was 8 weeks old and VVH has been taking care of her since. Every person in that office cares for your pet as their own, and it is immediately evident. From a consumer standpoint, their first priority is your pet, not to make money off of you. Whether you need to go in for puppy shots, sick animal visit, etc you can expect a fair price and not feel like you are going to a crooked car mechanic. You can tell a lot by a company based on their business, and VVH stays busy. Even being busy though, they have been able to see Luna on a fairly short notice or reasonable amount of time depending on the severity of the situation. On top of all of this, they are always receptive to fielding my questions about something that is going on with Luna. If I have a warranted question, I know that I can call them and not get attitude back or told to just come in. Sometimes they have said that she needs to come in, other times I was able to get help and advice over the phone or via email. With that being said, I am not suggesting to call or email them about every little thing because after all they are a small office and limited staff. We appreciate you, Matt & Luna

Scheduled an appointment with the reptile specialist here, was prescribed some ointment for my snake, he said that she'd be fine if we did what he told us and to call if things got worse, well she started getting worse the next day, I called back and the receptionists said she would have him call but but he still never has, she ended up dying the next day.

To many hidden cost... asked what it would cost to get a rabies shot for a new kitten on the phone...the reply on phone was 24 dollar.. after visit payed over 70 dollars? Payed 65 dollars for neutered and first round shots at another doctors office.
