The staff is not very nice or welcoming. It’s a shame they don’t want to help when you’re interested in an animal. Will go else where from now on.

It's a nice clean kept place. They have a lot of cute dogs and are ready for a nice home.

We just went there to look at dogs and the two front desk girls were VERY inconvenienced by us showing up 40min before they closed... They made it pretty difficult for us to even try to find a dog. Made us even question if THEY EVEN WANT THE DOGS ADOPTED OUT????! Sad.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced, these two young ladies had attitude with everybody, It took me 4 hours to adopt my baby kitty the girl at the desk said it would be 2 hours, I kindly agreed to wait because I had falling in love with him already. 2 hours turned to 4. I went up to the desk and asked how long it would take to finish up for my kitty and she rudely answered "It depends on how many more times I get interrupted " I was so shocked at her answer. Thankfully other people waited for they're new additions patiently and adopted their new member anyway!!! It's so badly ran. These poor babies waiting to be adopted lost potential family's due to their attitude. I watched so many people leave. It's sad!!!

Do not! I repeat do not adopt from this place. We adopted a dog that we were told had no issues with other pets or children. Complete opposite of what we received. They lied on health of dog as well. They're only concern was getting the dog out the door. Also the paid employees are as rude as could be.

Best place in Longmont for Affordable vet care. Caring staff. Animals are the number 1 priority.

Run by wonderful people who do their best to care for every animal that comes through the doors. Nice facilities and reasonable adoption fees which are necessary for continued operation. They have cats, dogs, and small mammals and a good website that is updated regularly. Unite with your next furry friend here. There are always little ones looking for a home

This place has unprofessional workers, but they still save animals lives. Even if you hate a worker don't hate the company.

I love all the animals I have adopted from here (3 cats) but it takes over 2 hours to have them finish all the paperwork. They give no explanation why!!!!!

Always appreciative not only of the services they provide for lost and found pets but also the care they provide to rescue animals here. Their behavior program is second to none, with dogs and cats!

This location is constantly a mess & disorganized, It's like pulling teeth trying to get a staff member to assist you. If you do volunteering or community service expect a whole new level of disregard. The customer service is severely lacking. Apparently unless you're giving them money, your time doesn't matter.

We adopted an amazing Great Dane mix from here last November. They were very accommodating. It took a little while to find the right fit for our family and they were so patient and helpful. Bear (aka Daniel the Dane that was shot in the face) has been amazing!!

I went to pet lost and found to see if my cats were possibly there. The office lady was incredibly rude and dismissive. You’d think as a professional you could at least be kind to someone who is worried sick about there pets. Great place terrible women. Definitely made my whole experience awful. The best part I never got to look for my cats. the women was too rude I couldn’t handle the negativity and I left. I hope the humane society can hire more welcoming kind people in the future.

This place has the worst service ever. Went there one day, they told us to come back tomorrow so we did and they had us wait here the whole day just to tell us 30 mins before closing we need a passport. So we have to come back for the 3rd time to pick up our dog and probably wait a whole day for them to say we can take our dog home. Please hire a new front desk staff they suck.

Everyone here was amazing! They are suuuper busy on the weekends, and just like everyone else, dealing with staffing shortages. Despite those obstacles, everyone was cheerful and friendly. I would say that the negative ratings regarding staff are unfounded. I would recommend that you get there early if you aren't a super patient person. I arrived just a little early and watch them rangle the troops for morning walks. These folks actually care about these dogs! Rachel at the front desk guided me through the first steps of picking a pup to meet. She recommended that I take some time and do a walk around and see if there were any that I wanted to meet that weren't on the website. When I picked a couple that I wanted to meet she walked me through their notes, and went over any health and behavioral issues that are preexisting. This helped me narrow my list down to a couple of well qualified candidates. I was then met by one of the handlers who was also super awesome, and considerate. She went over some of the finer points of behaviors that she had observed while working with the animals. I really appreciated the one on one with someone that seems to really care about these dogs. I finally fell in love with Wyatt, and will be making him my new roommate! Thanks so much to LHS for doing such an great job of giving love to these these fur babies!

Affordable veterinary care in addition to adoption services. Clean, staff is kind. Good behavioral classes too- we did a basic obedience class for our pit and it was 6 weeks and very useful.

the front desk lady was very nice, but 3 1/2 hours to adopt a dog is OUTRAGEOUS.
