This was my first trip to Nelson Animal Hospital. Dr. Jessica Liao took some time to allow Dottie to become at ease with them. Also, the technician was gentle and comforting to Dottie. I was given sound advice on her care. Dottie came from California via my daughter. Our experience was very positive. I was very pleased.

We Love this clinic. Staff is so warm and friendly: Dr. Kelly walked in the room and my dog immediately bonded with her, they will be doing her tumor surgery. Loving and best care for my dogs!!

Dr. Douglas empathized and was informative. I went to another vet prior and was not treated as well. There pricing is reasonable and the operation is clean.

Have gone here for years. Everyone is kind, compassionate, and professional.

We have had such amazing care. We adopted a 3yr old German sheppherd that was neglected in many ways. He's huge and so gentle and they treated him with such kindness.

I was afraid I might lose my boy Billy years ago when a tumor was found under his left front leg and into a section of his chest. Dr. Kelley performed that surgery and removed every bit of the tumor. Then it was on to dressing his wound which was a hard one to keep covered and safely secured. Dr. Kelley came up with a way to both cover his wound but also kept it tightly held against his body. She added a modified collar to prevent Billy from getting to it and years later, you would never guess he had surgery at all. I have trusted all my dogs over 20 years to Nelson Animal Hospital and they have never let me down. Never! I'm so glad Dr. Kelley was there to treat my boy and he would not be giving me kisses today if it were not for her compassionate and professional treatment.

First visit was wonderful in everyway, we trusted them, 2nd and 3rd time our pet was put under completely unnecessary blood tests, stool samples, xrays, HUGE bills both times. Problems not solved.

Great vet team and foxtail surgery went well. Aussie healed up very fast!

Dr Kelly and all her sraff were so professional and friendly with honest opinions & reasonable cost for the care they provided. It is a place I highly recommend to care for your pets. Thank you for providing such great care for my little Loki.

I had an excellent experience at Nelson Animal Hospital. They made a list of all my concerns then addressed each of them promptly and thoroughly.

It was a very difficult time for us and they were compassionate and leveled with me about our dogs poor prognosis. We were given some instructions on how to manage the situation and it certainly helped us.

We got our dog during quarantine, they took us as new patients and have been so wonderful with our little girl. Very friendly staff, and our dog seems to enjoy her visits.

My husband and I love the staff they are amazing and our fur baby River loved them too I would recommend this place to everyone. ❤

Brought my dog in for his first vet visit ever a few days ago. Staff and vet were all very respectful and attentive. Quick service with a smile. Will definately be back!

We have (unfortunately) had to bring our 2 dogs in multiple times for various issues since we moved to Littleton last year. We were nervous to see a new vet but Nelson has been great. The front desk and techs are always very kind and helpful. Dr. Kelley is great and always makes sure we know exactly what is going on with our pups. You can tell she loves her job. We also saw Dr. Douglas once and she was equally wonderful. As far as pricing goes, compared to our last vet in the highlands it seems very fair. We are very grateful to have found a vet who is so good to our beloved pups.

Such a wonderful, caring place where the whole veterinary team gets to know your pets and you on a personal level. We have taken family pets here for many years and very satisfied with the care. Recently, we began fostering dogs, and Nelson Animal Hospital has been so great in getting these rescue dogs ready for adoption. Words don't properly convey our gratitude at how welcoming and supportive they have been, especially since all of our foster dogs have been seen since Covid protocols have been in place. For many years I used a popular, well respected vet practice in Littleton, which was fine, but impersonal and expensive. Nelson Animal Hospital is hands down better in my experience.

I had a medical emergency with my pooch and it was the result of my prior vets procedures - I called Nelson up, with no former patient history, only a friend referral and they got us in right away, were practical in their approach, financially reasonable and so welcoming....and were so grateful for the friend referral - VERY HAPPY we changed vets. Highly Recommend.

So impressed with the communication and quality of care. Already took my cat here, will definitely be taking my dog in the future! Highly recommend.

Five stars are not enough to express my happiness with Nelson Animal Hospital. I have a new puppy who became violently ill and was in a life threatening situation. Dr. Jessica Liao-Seaton personally talked to me several times throughout his illness and took the time to address every concern. All the staff I encountered were so pleasant and helpful. I have had very good service from various veterinarians over the years, but they don't hold a candle to Dr. Seaton's ability to communicate with people. And it's not just her people skills, she is so knowledgeable and has excellent follow through. Truly, I do not think my puppy would be alive if it weren't for her excellent care.

I have 2 rambunctious dogs and a silly kitty. We mostly see Dr. Douglas who is always wonderful and so helpful with the many issues that seem to come up. We has to put our previous dog down due to cancer and everyone was compassionate and so helpful. This was so nice after a horrible experience I’d had with another vet office. All the techs are great, along with the office staff. I cannot recommend Nelson Veterinary Hospital enough.

This Clinic is very Professional and Responsive. I want to personally thank Dr. Douglas again for extending herself being the norm for a New Patient. I have a French Bulldog and it was important to me to find a Doctor who can relate to raising this breed. Dr. Douglas is extremely knowledgeable and was even kind enough to give me a referral for some additional services. I can tell that Nelson Animal Hospital cares for their Client's pets like their own, and that's extremely valuable! I would recommend anyone searching for a Animal Hospital/Clinic to contact Dr. Douglas at Nelson Animal Hospital!
