Take your loved ones elsewhere. I couldnt get an appoiintment for Dr Beadleston because the front desk person (who is RUDE AS HELL) didnt know what his schedule would be for the next 60 days. This clinic DOES NOT CARE about their long loyal clientele and they could care less if you book an appointment with them or go elsewhere. I will NEVER go back to this practice because they dont care....font the person answering the phone to the Dr's that are on staff.

We have gone here for years but now we have to go somewhere else. Our new female puppy was spayed and the Vet could not get the meds right to not only keep her out of pain but also keep her calm. On the car ride home she was crying in pain. At home she was hyper and needed at least 3 times the sedative dose. We have not gotten any reminder calls about getting her vaccines and haven't been contacted once regarding her checkups. This is only my second bad review on google and I don't consider myself a Karen.

This is not the same Deer Creek Animal Hospital I've experienced over many years taking our animals there. Judging by the other one star reviews and comments, I'm not alone. I suspect the "VCA" part of Deer Creek, the new corporate owner, is the likely reason. My husband and I waited nearly 3 hours in the small examination room with our lab, Emma, to be seen by a vet. No one told us the wait would be so long, because if they had, we would've left! After an hour of waiting, we asked how much longer and were told we were next, after the walk-in emergency. We understood that emergencies are triaged. After another hour went by, we asked again and were told 5 minutes. Close to another hour, we were finally seen and THEN told by a front desk assistant that "ER appointment wait times can take 2-4 hours"! Really? That's the standard of care there? The emergency vet was competent and kind and I felt sympathy for him that he wasn't getting the kind of staff support he deserved. He spent about 10 minutes with our dog, diagnosed her and we were charged $131. Our appointment was at 2:30 and we left after 5:30. We will never get back those wasted 3 hours, or the Deer Creek Animal Hospital we once knew and depended on for the care and treatment of our pets. We will not be back.

My dog was experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, and bloody stools. My regular vet was booked on a Friday afternoon and said the dog needed to be seen. I took him to Deer Creek Animal Hospital and got slapped with a $754 bill! This included urgent care visit ($131.40), Fecal complete ($80), VetScan Comprehensive Diagnostic Profile and CBC ($256), Urinalysis ($54.85), Maropitant ($89.60), Fluids ($74.95), Metronidazole ($27.45 for 10), and Fortiflora K9 30 pack $37.98. I certainly don't know if all of this was necessary. My dog has recovered, but my bank account has not. I have not heard back from the emergency vet for the results of the comprehensive diagnostic profile or the fecal sample either. I think people should be aware of the exorbitant costs before choosing this emergency vet office.

This place was wonderful both as an emergency and end of life care for both our very old cats. We are very thankful for the kindness, compassion and professionalism we met here.

Don’t bring your pets here!! They have to use rr on concrete, even though there is a perfectly good grass area they are too lazy to take them too. If your dog is too big, they will put it alone in the “non-luxury” kennels away from all the other dogs. They don’t clean feces if it’s on your dog, for whatever reason. They let the only cat there get out of its room, scrambling to get it back in. Half of the employees are rude and unprofessional. I wish I took pictures, but save yourself and your babies , DON’T GO HERE!!

Amazing staff and service. Saw my dog on a whim in the middle of the night. Extremely friendly, and thoroughly explained every part of their process to me. Highly recommend

Showed up for our scheduled appointment and it wasn't until we got there that they bothered to tell us they canceled our appointment.

Thank you VCA for boarding our dog during our wedding! And thank you for accommodating our silly requests while he was there that really helped us out. You guys were so helpful & we highly recommend you! Mike & Jake

Had to bring my dog in for emergency services after hours. Dr. King saved my baby’s life! Dr. King called me with any little update to keep my mind at ease and make sure I was as informed as possible. All overnight staff members on August 25th were extremely kind and helpful. Cost for a 12 hour stay in the emergency room and treatment was less than $1,800. Highly recommended Deer Creek!

My boyfriend took our dog in because he was having pain to he's left side. After a 3hr wait they gave our dog an inappropriate treatment of fluids & anti-nausea and charged us $600. (This treatment course makes no sense, since our dog was having normal bowel movements, eating, and did not have a distended abdomen so treating him for a bowel obstruction or fluid replacement was completely unwarranted.) The next day our pup still appeared to be in pain, I called with my concerns hoping they could at least give him something for the pain until we could get an appointment with our regular vet, they refused and advised us to come in yet again, pay again for an emergency visit and wait up to 4-6hrs and be seen yet again by one of there same doctors. Luckily I am a nurse so I began to assess our dog and found a bot fly to his left side. The next day I took our dog in to CVSG animal hospital, they found and removed the bot fly and charged us less than 1/4th the cost Deer Creek charged us. Luckily I am a Healthcare provider and was able to find and solve our pets issue, because it felt like the staff at this facility were not only incompetent, but more concerned about $$ than the well being of our pet.

I've been taking my animals here for 15+ years. Within the last couple of years there has been a significant shift. None of my favorite veterinarians are there any more. The new vets pressure you to get all sorts of testing even surgery done. My dog had surgery to remove lumps a little over a year ago and I was told she will not remove anymore because it's not safe with his age. This last visit I was told maybe I need to get a more experienced vet there to remove the new ones. They drew blood and did xrays. It took a week and 3 phone calls to get my dogs lab results back. I sill have not gotten the xray results. 700.00 and a week later we are still looking for answers. Very disappointed..... I'll be looking for a new vet.

This had been our long term vet. Recently pricing has skyrocketed and is now laughable. I was quoted $1,100 for a spay + first time visit for a new puppy. I didn't even want the first time visit, but it was a requirement for a spay. We got it done for $100 somewhere else. The other option was not convienient, but they were 1/10th the cost and equal in quality from my perspective. Please consider looking at other options purely due to pricing changes that have increased massively since the VCA takeover. There are some INCREDIBLE vets at this location, but the corporate pricing is abhorrent.

I have taken my pets here for the last 5 years and they have been great. I’m not sure what has happened to this place but all the vets have seemed to be replaced with new, young incompetent vets. I will be taking my pets somewhere else moving forward. They seem to push for money and tests with no regards to the pets well-being any longer. I was made to feel guilty by not giving my pet surgery. I went to 2 different vets afterwards and they told me my dog wouldn’t make it through the surgery and not to put him through that. Come to find out when I put him down, his veins were so weak there is no way he would have made it through surgery with the blood transfusion he would have needed. They just wanted my $6k for my dog to die on the table! Pet #2 once again paid for test results and called daily for the results only to be told they can’t give it me, only a vet. Well the vet never calls back! Results were in last Thursday and had to get nasty on the phone today to get my results on Monday- 4 days!!! Do NOT take tour pet here. They have changed and only want your money! I can see why the good vets have left!

We visited Deer Creek on a referral from our regular vet for urgent analysis of a vexing issue. Dr. Siegel quickly and remarkably, demonstrating impressive veterinary instincts, identified and resolved the root cause, almost literally finding the proverbial "needle in a haystack." We left greatly relieved and very thankful. Well done and highly recommend this vet team!!

I've been taking my dog here for the last 5 years and have no complaints with anyone in the office, I've always felt they were professional and nice as well. My only complaint is the prices, they are not cheap, it's cost me almost $600 for a couple puppy visits including shots, stool test, and medicine to fix his giardia. But once he's done with his medicine I'll have to pay another $70 for one more stool test to make sure the giardia is taken care of.

Use to go here for my dogs and stopped going here cause all these people want is your money. Had a emergency situation where my dog was struggling to breath and chocking and threw up and was directed to come here cause they were the closest emergency hospital and when I got there I was told I had to wait an hour for a "ER" appointment. Ended spending over 2 hours and $120 just for them to put me in a room and tell me it was reverse sneezing and there was nothing they could do. I spent $120 to wait around for 2 hours for a vet to see us for 5 minutes for nothing. My dog had symptoms of reverse sneezing in the lobby, is it so hard just to pull me aside and say its nothing to worry about, instead of making us go through all of that just to waste my time aand take my money. My advice look at a different veterinarian because the second this place has a chance to charge you for the most money they can they will.

Sadly, I had to rush my cat in at 2am after coming home from work and finding him in a very bad way. The doctor was quick to call with the assessment, and unfortunately I was in a position where I had to make an extremely difficult decision. The doctor (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) and the tech (I think it was Sonja, excuse my spelling) were amazingly accommodating and compassionate. My little buddy went out with dignity, respect, and care. Thank you to this team for helping me through a very difficult situation. Although I showed up with my cat and left without him, it still feels good knowing the utmost care was given in my cat's final hour.

Not normally one to leave a review, but after taking my puppy here for an emergency I have to say the staff at VCA Deer Creek fully deserves the 5 stars. His care team was friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive during a really stressful period. The Vets and Vet Techs that cared for my dog during his stay were awesome, and always quick to answer questions and provided regular updates on his condition. While I hope to not have to return under similar circumstances, I would absolutely bring my dog here again in the future. Thank you all! -Forster and Nomad

Wonderful staff and amazing doctors! Its refreshing to have people that truly care and do everything in their power to care for your fur babies. It's rare to see that kind of passion anymore and I will be forever grateful for the people at DCAH

We’ve been taking our dogs here for years, and even before that with our dogs that have since passed away. Earlier in the year we brought both of our dogs in for their checkup and shots. As with most places with covid precautions, we were not able to go back with our dogs, but we weren’t worried, as we know the office and the people. Or so we thought. The vet that took our mastiff mix apparently was afraid of her. To the point that they canceled our boarding with them, because she wasn’t comfortable with our dog staying with them. We asked what happened, and were told that she wasn’t aggressive, the vet just wasn’t comfortable with the fact that she was a nervous dog at her visit. We weren’t told that she was seeing a new vet, so we weren’t surprised that she was nervous getting shots with a new person, but we were very surprised that they are no longer able to see our dog because of... we don’t know... a vet that is afraid of a dog. Stella (our dog) has even had to have late night emergency surgery there, she had been boarded there in the past, so the only thing that has changed is the new vet. We boarded them elsewhere when they told us they weren’t comfortable, and Stella had no problems where she was boarded. I’m just very sad and frustrated that we need to find a new vet because our dog is now too scary.

Prices are a bit high, but you can’t beat the variety of services and expertise. Dr. Saliman is amazing with my fur kids, and I am so grateful for their medical boarding for my special needs fur baby.

Update on my Bosco Redbone, after taking him to another Vet, on 2/18 they did a thorough check on him and he has been diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis. Which means that he will have to be put down as this gets worse. I was told he would not make it through the summer. My heart is broken. His quality of life now is my main concern. If he would have received a complete check from this vet I could have been more prepared but I can't help but think an emergency vet is looking out for money more than caring for pets. I spent $427.20 at Deer Creek and I am extremely disappointed and my heart is truly broken. This vet wanted to get him in for teeth cleaning in April. Please people be careful and be thinking about your pet.

I had an emergency with both of my dogs last night. I called Deer Creek Animal Hospital and spoke to a vet tech she directed me to call animal poison control and report back to her with the case number for my dogs. I did exactly that and when I called back I was told that they did not have a doctor in. Mind you this happened at 4 in the afternoon. What vet doesn't have a doctor on site at 4 in the afternoon? They should have let me know when I first called that there was not a vet on site. Instead they left me hanging with an emergency where one of my dogs was 5x over the toxicity level and the other was 25x over the toxicity level. Would not recommend this vet facility as they obviously do not care about your pets well being. They will never receive my business again. DO NOT LET THEM BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PETS.

These guys are amazing! They squeezed us in when our dog hurt her tail during the snow storm and were so nice and helpful. Thank you so much!

Took my cat there on short notice, while not a true emergency, Deer Creek was the only place that could get him in. It costs $125 emergency visit for an appointment I made later in the day (I called at 9 and showed up at 4pm). All prices are much higher than my normal Vet, but unfortunately they were booked solid for a few weeks as were all the other places I called. I don't understand the emergency fee when I went in 6 hours after a call in the morning where they said they could fit me in. It was still during normal business hours too. Other than that, the communication was good and treatment was fine I guess as I didn't get to go in due to COVID so I didn't to get interact with anyone.

I have to write a review here after going to 3 other vets in previous years to save money. Deer creek is pricey but you get what you pay. They never ever misdiagnosis. They have ample staff and vet techs that are knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. I called them even after I went to another vet who ran unnecessary tests and they still guided me. I should have paid the extra $30 to go here. I hope they can lower prices because this is really best place. Just hard when times are tough. After what i have been through it makes me think of all the times they have helped us w various animals and through the years. Highly recommend.

I had to take my 5 month old baby kitty to deer creek two different times yesterday. My first visit was not so good and I am very disappointed with the doctor (can’t remember his name) for knowingly misinforming me and making me pay for a test that wasn’t needed (as I was told by the second dr when I went in again at 10pm). However, even though my second visit was the hardest thing I have ever done, my itty bitty kitty was much better taken care of and I am so thankful for Dr. Sayers. We ended up having to put my sweet Jade down close to 3am this morning. Dr. Sayers gave us plenty of time to decide that letting her go was the best thing to do. It took us 2 hours and lots of crying to make our decision and Dr. Sayers was patient every minute. But what really comforted us this morning was a woman named Sonia. We are so grateful that Sonia was there with us last night. She gave us as much time as we needed with our baby before saying goodbye and made us the most perfect paw print. It is obvious that Sonia takes pride in her job and loves what she does and that is exactly the qualities a person needs to have in order to work in this field. Her compassion was outstanding. Our beautiful girl passed peacefully in our arms this morning and I miss her so much. Thank you Dr. Sayers and Sonia for helping us get through one of the hardest moments of our lives.

WORST PLACE EVER! I had taken my cat in because she was super sick. They did tests and all that, and told me they would call or email me the results when they got them. They would not let me leave with my cat, until I paid the bill. I was 18 years old, of course I didn’t have that kind of money. I ended up having to apply for a credit card, to pay the bill so I could take her home. They never even called or emailed me the results of her tests, and then she ended up passing away a couple weeks later. They never even apologized or anything, when she had passed.
