Angels With Paws Pet Grooming Littleton, Colorado

We have been coming to this groomer for years. When we went to take our dog in for an appointment that was scheduled far in advanced, the first groomer told us she would not see her and rudely sent us out. A few days later another lady called us and apologized then told us they would see her. When we showed up no one was there. I am extremely disappointed with this place and the lack of professionalism. This is a terribly ran company.

The business was very hard to reach initially and when I did reach them, I was able to schedule a grooming appointment for my border collie. Upon picking up my dog, she did a decent job and the pricing was reasonable. She did make an odd statement that she doesn't typically accept border collies because she doesn't like working with them. She also stated that my border was better to work with then most. She groomed my dog a 1/2 dozen times after that. Communication was always an issue. Wouldn't respond to me for weeks and then suddenly would respond with an immediate opening. I let her know I was adopting a dog and that I'd like her to groom her. When I told her the breed she kind of lit up and said she'd love to groom that breed. When I took my new dog in I could see her look of disapproval. She laughed and said my dog didn't look like the breed that I stated she was and then her attitude towards my new rescue changed. After that day she would no longer return my calls. I have two good and well behaved dogs, I'm a very good tipper, and there is no reasonable reason she stopped grooming my dogs. Something feels off and in-consist with this business and the lacks of professionalism. I would not recommend this business.

I rarely write reviews and when I do they are positive; however, I feel the need to share my cousin’s experience as a warning to others. After a recent visit there, her yorkie came back from them not only totally completely shaved, including his nose, but with cuts, razor burns, and completely traumatized. He now hides and shakes. It is not normal for him. He may have had a few mats but nothing that couldn’t be worked out. I have a long haired dog, I know mats and the degree of effort it may take to remove them, and his were minimal and normal. Additionally I have video from Halloween that shows he’s not thick with mats. I don’t know if someone was having a bad day - we’ve all been there - but it is not okay to take that out on an animal. Reviews are good, so plenty have had good experiences, but certainly not us.

So far so great! My golden retriever Tilly (7yrs) loves it here. I'm not saying she wouldn't rather be at home sitting on the couch, but for having to put up with going to a groomer and the chaos of it all she seems pretty happy here. She always looks fresh, clean, and fluffy! They really take care of her and are so affordable.

Have called six times in the last week trying to set an appointment. 4 times no answer, 2 times got put on hold and hung up on 5 minutes later. Very unprofessional.

I've been bringing my Havanese here for several years. I would recommend everyone there.

Had 2 good grooms but the last one was sloppy and uneven and just awful. 5lb poodle who looked like a messy shaved rat. It was NOT good. Took dog back to show unevenness and she grabbed the clippers and ran them over the dogs tummy as I was holding her. BAD day for for sure!!

Pam has been clipping my dogs hair for over a year. I like knowing my dog is happy and safe with the groomer and you definitely know they are here. Everyone there is super nice.

Our little Lucy tends to be a bit nervous at times especially in new surroundings. We've been using Karen now for a couple of years & Lucy loves her! She handles the dogs with love & care , not to mention she grooms them exactly the way you want . Highly recommended Angel's with Paws!

We absolutely love this place! Karen always does a wonderful job on Lucy, our little Yorkie/Jack Russell mix.

Sherri has been grooming our babies for the past 6yrs. Two of our little ones are pains but she treats them with love and kindness. I highly recommend Sherri. Best groomer we've ever had.

OMG! Sherry is absolutely the best person and all animals respond to her. She took such good care of my two dogs, Lab and a Golden. I do miss going to her, but we are petless now. Thanks Sherry for taking such good care of my boys!! I'll never forget you :)

We've been taking out dogs here for years. They always do a great job and really seem to care about the animals and take pride in their work.

Our long haired girl cat had diarrhea and had messed herself. When I called they gave me an appointment within the hour. I was apprehensive as there were 5-6 dogs in there but they left her in her carrier to make her comfortable. When we picked her up and brought her home she was calm and loving as usual. She also smelled so much better. She looked wonderful as this was the first time with a groomer. She will be going back again for another grooming. They were all attentive and caring.

I like the concept that the dogs roam free during the hair cut appointment but our Golden doodle's hair cut was really poor. Also $70 was way too much for what they did. I would not recommend this place.

We really love this shop. We have a special needs dog that needs a little extra TLC. The ladies are just so loving and caring and always take great care of our dog Merlot.

You can feel the love when you walk into this place! They do an amazing job grooming, and they also treat the animals with such care and respect. Sherri and her team are wonderful!!!

If I could give Angels with Paws more than 5 stars, I would. My cat Bodhi has found a new feline friend, which on the whole is a very happy event. However, his new pal has a bad habit of hiding under cars. Bodhi came home with some kind of car fluid on half of his back. This can be very dangerous for a cat. Licking it could kill him, and it can also absorb into his body. I called over 10 pet groomers searching for someone who would take the time to talk with me about how they would successfully handle this. Angels with Paws was the only one that patiently dealt with my questions. And Sherri, the owner, also arranged to see me later in the day when there would be no problem with dogs. This meant that she very graciously stayed after hours to take care of Bodhi. She very much understood that this was an emergency and went out of her way to help us. Once we were there, Sherri and Bodhi just loved each other. She spent a long time with him, doing every step carefully and lovingly. When I picked him up, he was not especially stressed. Whether you have a dog or a cat, I cannot recommend Angels with Paws highly enough.

This is my shop and I really do strive to exceed every person and 4 legged friend that walks through my door if for any reason your not satisfied for whatever the reason please atleast give us a chance to make it right. We are human and many times the very issues you aren't happy about we can fix if given the chance. We never want to upset you on purpose that is never our intentions. Thank you for your business. I'm so glad we found this place. Fantastic customer service, quality work, great price!

The ladies were very nice and it wasn't so expensive but, my dog came back with barley anything done to her for 45$ I couldn't even tell if they actually cut her fur or her nails. I am struggling financially so she can't be groomed monthly, so this is quite bothersome to explain that situation to them, and they cut a centimeter of her hair(if that) and leave it so long that it made no difference with her shedding/getting things in her fur. I'll never go back.
