THRIVE Affordable Vet Care - Villa Italia Lakewood, Colorado

This was my first visit and the staff from the check in to the tech Kate to the doctor are the nicest people. They are so kind, helpful and go ABOVE AND BEYOND. I am SO thankful for them and know that my dog is getting GREAT care.

After waiting 3 months to get my dog in because of the schedule and availability at Thrive. I received an email before my dogs appointment the same day to fill out a form before showing up. After 5-10 minutes of completing the form I walk in with my dog and was notified I was 5 minutes late and would have to reschedule to get my dog vaccinated . The time it took me to just get scheduled and the sour attitude by the front desk receptionist leaves me no choice but to leave a bad review! I will not be taking my dog there ever again

Guess Thrive isn't the "affordable" vet care that it used to be. Basic check-up and blood work for my senior cat cost $295. That's how much the 3am emergency vet trip cost last week. I'll be looking for a new vet, yet again. Profit and greed destroy lives and families.

This is a solid place to bring your pet. There are multiple communications before your appointment and solid follow up afterward. I see complaints where people that are too irresponsible to show up on time for an appointment blame these guys for not accommodating them. They try to handle a lot of business on any given day so folks doing their part is crucial. If someone needs more or special accommodations outside these requirements, maybe go somewhere else that also charges you more.

Thrive "AFFORDABLE" Vet Care... LMAO this place is the least affordable vet clinic I've ever been to. Canine teeth cleaning STARTS at $600 before you start getting into extractions, which btw are about $100 per tooth pulled. The price gouging is ridiculous and this place is anything but affordable.

Thrive has such an amazing team at Bel Mar. We had to put our kitty to sleep, it was one of the worst days, but Thrive made it a bit easier. From the receptionist to the Vet, they were all so very kind, most of all, truthful with us. Ive already made wellness appointments for my dogs as this is my new vet.

I had a very sick 13 year old cat and they treated him very carefully and gently. The doctor did blood levels and called me back the next morning to tell me my kitty was in renal failure and there was no treatment that would help. I took my Bucky back and Dr. Hardy talked to me and my daughter about what was best for Bucky. He was very gentle and talked to Bucky while he prepared him and us to cross the Rainbow ???? Bridge. He left the room after he injected Bucky and let us stay for a few minutes to say goodbye. I was very pleased with the doctor and the staff. They were very caring. I would recommend Thrive Vets to anyone. They were great!

Brought in our dog for routine check-up and vaccines. The staff was very professional, answered our questions quickly and clearly, and overall made the experience very pleasant!

Today my dog had an appointment at 10 AM, her name is snow. We were in the parking lot when the lady called me at 10:03 to cancel. I told her we were walking to the door and she began to yell at me, I asked for her managers information and then she hung up on me. I walked in to Petco to talk to the Petco manager about it, And as I was talking to her about it other customers in the store told me how rude the lady was at the service desk and how I should not bring my dog. The lady is a older Caucasian lady with short gray hair. Please be aware of this location and how they treat you, I can only imagine how the pets are being treated. This has ruined my experience for Petco now. They should think about who they allow to contract with and their stores because each thrive is privately contracted.

Love this place I have a puppy and a Senior dog on there 10 dollars a month plan and I love it. I think this is good if you are going often to the vet. The membership pays itself in 2 visits. I haven't had the vet sell me anything I don't need. They take care of my pets very well.

Brought in our two cats, they were supper nice and professional with them! They saw them and vaccinated them super quickly. We are very pleased with the whole process!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. I've had a couple issues with them but this was the last straw. Scheduled both my cats for appointments well in advance. One is only 12 weeks old and needs his vaccines. Got them in their crates to be put in the dreaded car (kitty monster) with the required poop samples they requested in my purse, and drove across town to show up and call the number on the door to be told their vet called out today and I would have to go home. They claim they couldn't let me know because they were using an out of date phone number. And yet they've sent me multiple emails to confirm this appointment! Send me an email!?? I asked if they could squeeze me in the next day and all they said was "No, sorry we're booked". SOOO disappointed. But maybe it's a blessing, I felt their quality of care wasn't good to begin with. Found a new Vet an hour later. Schedule with Thrive if you dare.

This concerns the Lakewood, CO location. My wife and I had a vaccination scheduled for 1:00 pm. Due to traffic, we called to let them know we were running a few minutes late. We were told we had a 10 minute grace period (paraphrasing). When we arrived at 1:06 pm, we called to let them know we had arrived but were told we would not be seen due to a 5 minute grace period. I understand time constraints due to the number of customers. However, we were not given an opportunity to reschedule or wait until a different time on the same day. As such we have opted to cancel our membership and demand a full refund. This in combination with the quite rude vet and the inconsistent time frames, I am compelled to recommend potential customers to steer clear of this location.

Clean and friendly but a lil weird bc they make you sit in a room without your pet and call you on the phone to call talk to the doctor but then will be face to face to check out. Doesn't make any sense but yea...
