Millie has been coming to Lakewood Veterinary since she first adopted us 6/16/2012; almost ten years! They always get her in; they always answer our questions. We have been in good hands for almost ten years. Now that she is a senior lady, they are helping us as we enter a new chapter. We have always been able to rely on them, whether for vaccinations, the latest supplements, or addressing digestive issues.

From the moment I booked the appointment to when I received my dog’s test results, I felt like I was in good hands. Dawn was very sweet with my dogs, which was especially helpful since one was uncharacteristically anxious about the appointment. The vet explained everything in easy terms and I could tell she really loves animals. The prices were very reasonable, too!

Highly recommend :) They are nice and loving and always make my dog feel so comfortable. She literally loves going to the vet. They also always get her in day of if we have an emergency.

All of them. Lived nearby for decades and had previously went to the clinic across the street. I will never trust my animals care to anyone but Lakewood coming forward. Caring, compassionate and wonderful folks.

Close to home n work in Lakewood. staff was kind direct with cost procedures, options of care n home care suggestion for my pet . My dog hobo monkey was comfortable as well . covid safe no contact visit they did all the foot work as .

Meh this place is alright… if you’re looking for a new vet I would keep looking. The staff is very friendly but I have higher expectations for services and I’m a pretty laid back person. I’ve had a handful of appointments by now for my puppy and her first checkup was okay but I felt they could have done a more thorough exam. Second time I went in I arrived on time and called the office per covid procedures and couldn’t get a hold of anyone until about THIRTY minutes after my appointment started… the appointment took 5 minutes. Half the time I call I can’t get a hold of anyone during normal business hours. With covid they won’t let you go in with your animal they come out to your car and take them from you. I’m sure I can find more professional services elsewhere.

I've only been to this hospital once so far and they were very good when I went in for my dog's first checkup. They also understood I was disabled and let us chill out in the exam room while we waited for our ride home. Dr. Drew was a very friendly vet who explained everything to me and took very good care of my dog, including giving her some treats to make her happier. My mother did tell me we visited this vet once after we got our first dog about ten years ago, and said she didn't like them. However, I have no memory of this so I gave them a chance anyways, and I'm glad I did so far. The only thing I wish I knew was if they accepted the opportunity it to volunteer, as I'm keen to doing this when I'm not in school to keep myself occupied, but the practice manager hadn't gotten back to me about it yet to let me know if it's a possibility. I'll understand if they're not dojg this due to the pandemic, but I'd love the opportunity it to get involved and learn more about the profession, as I have shadowed at another hospital once shortly after I got out of high school, and really enjoyed my exexperience. And as long as their prices are affordable, I will definitely be back for routine care as well as any needed treatment my dog needs down the line. Just be careful in case your pet shares a name with another patient of theirs to ensure it doesn't cause any confusion. ????

Great customer service, great response time for making appointments, and most importantly great care. There is no wonder they have been in business for so long. I am thankful to have discovered this practice.

Just starting bringing my cat here but so far so good. Staff is really nice every time I have been in. They also seem reasonably priced compared to our old clinic. Dr. Arcuri has been helpful and knowledgeable. Good at talking through things with you and answering questions. Glad I chose this place to come to.

Vet tech was so rude. Told me to leave the room they put me in so they could do a euthanasia. Didn’t need to know that! Overpriced as well.

This used to my favorite vet until the pandemic hit and they started price gouging with their $20 tech service charge even when its the same tech doing multiple services. The best most knowledgeable vet retired and the other vets are wet behind their ears. The office manager WAS a rude woman that was unapologetic on my dog getting bad services. I would not trust them with a carnival goldfish

We have taken or animals here for years. One of our our cats had a bowel obstruction, but they wouldn't help because she didn't have an appointment. Very difficult to make an appointment for an emergency. Blessedly Planned Parenthood very professionally took care of our little girl without an appointment. I will never take a pet here again.

This clinic is a joke! The front staff and one Doctor is just full of complete S*** Dr. C can't seem to tell the truth and is just a s*** talker very disgusted with this particular veterinarian clinic. What a disappointment

Their facility was not well kept as far as being clean. I didn't care for the vets comments on how to feed my kitten. I've had three cats from the time they were weaned from their mothers my first lived to be 18 yrs my second lived to be 20 yrs. and my third lived to be 21 yrs. The vet told me she could feel food in my kittens stomach. Let me know what you think. Bonnie Salazar

This place is fantastic! I made an appointment to get my kitty Gibson checked out. They were very thorough, informative, and just had a "cat people" feel about them. The technician Angel was great. Dr. Sylvester is as well. They listened to my concerns and addressed them with me. They found some stuff a previous visit to an emergency vet missed. They really care about your pet. I think I've found my new regular veterinarian clinic.

They treated my pup and I well, even though we got lost looking for the office. They seemed to love my dog. She is darn lovable.

My first time coming to this veterinarian, they were very courteous and professional. Clean space and respectable handling of a scared, stressed cat. They were also patient with explanations and my questions.

I was in the parking lot 12 minutes after my appointment time due to my own mistake on scheduling confusion. However, the front desk staff member refused to even ask the vet if we could be squeezed in. My dog had his tail slammed in a door and has chewed out his sutures twice now. This was a follow up appointment for something I would consider urgent considering the risk of needing an amputation. I have literally spent thousands of dollars here with two dogs and surgeries. As a doctor myself I squeeze patients in on urgent matters all the time. I was able to find a vet that could squeeze us in same day given the situation and they will now be my dogs’ provider.

I have been going to Lakewood Vet Hospital since 1995. They have taken care of my 3 dogs as well as foster dogs. The staff is caring, attentive and takes the time to explain anything that is going on with my dogs. They genuinely care for your pets and treat each one individually as if they were their own. I trust them through every stage of my dog's lives, even the hardest ones.

They were able to see my kitty quickly and were so sweet the whole time. Gave me clear direction on next steps and my cat really liked her and the tech. Amazing people there.

We've had to put down 2 of our Chihuahuas in 1 month. They helped us by showing compassion to our babies, as well as us. Dr Lisa Bridston was very loving & kind, as are all the staff. We highly recommend them.
