If you want a veterinarian who will treat your pets like they would treat their own — well then, make an appointment with Dr. Laura Scott! Dr. Scott has been there for my fur baby family for over 15 years through thick and thin! She always goes above and beyond, whether it is performing a routine wellness check, dental cleaning, acupuncture or an emergency surgery. What I love most about her is she always patiently takes the time to explain in plain language her diagnosis and treatment plan. By far, she is the best vet in town!

Recently switched vets to Dr. Gill, and am so happy I did. Dr. Gill takes time to explain things, and was thorough with my dogs. He also caught a misdiagnosis from my previous vet. The clinic is very clean and has the capability to do a lot of in house testing. I highly recommend Dr. Gill and his staff. My dog Winston and Sophie and go there.

I recently took my dog for vaccinations and to set up with a new vet as I travel between Colorado and NM. I was verbally assaulted because this vet was against a prong collar. I have a high drive working shepherd that competes in IPO. This vet clearly does not understand high drive dogs. She reported me to animal control for animal abuse over a prong collar. The animal control officer came by and agreed that the dog is not abused and extremely well cared for. There was no basis for that accusation. I would stay far away from this place if you have a high drive working dog.

Dr. Wellman and her staff truly care about their patients and their parents. Dr. Wellman is so kind and if you do not understand something she takes time to explain it to you. If you care for your fur babies and want someone who cares just as much, she is the doctor to see!

A few days ago, when my dog got sick I went to Happy Paws Veterinary Hospital and recieved care that went far and beyond. The vet and the entire team was very professional, detailed, and got to the cause of the illness quickly. Everyone I dealt with was very professional, friendly and caring. I felt that both my dog and myself were taken care and important. I will be returning for my next vet appointment. Thanks to the entire team!!

Dr. Wellman is absolutely top notch. Her demonstrated expertise and compassion have led me to trust her completely with the care and treatment of my doodle, who has horrible hip and dietary problems. Living in multiple states over more than a decade, I have visited many vets over the years, and I can honestly say, I've never seen a vet who cares so deeply about the animals in her practice. I cannot highly recommend enough!

I have used Doctor Wellman for years. She is fantastic with high drive dogs and has done a lot of animal rescue in the Deep South with pit bulls and large aggressive mix dogs. She knows how to work with the more difficult dogs while remaining compassionate. I had a large pit mix from Hurricane Katrina who was aggressive with humans, but he loved Doctor Wellman. She is also excellent with rare health cases and will research the most difficult cases. She helped keep our Golden Retriever stay alive and healthy for 18 months after he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. I have never met someone who will go so far above and beyond to help an animal. Her rescue group has helped countless animals over the years and she also helps other rescue groups. He new facility is being remodeled and will have all state if the art new equipment. The cat hotel upstairs is perfect and set up so the cats can lounge by a window and watch prairie dogs outside all day. If I was a cat, I would never leave. If you want a veterinarian that truly loves animals and has extensive veterinary experience to take the best care of your pet, this may be the Doctor for you.

I haven't met a veterinarian who cares more about animals than Dr Wellman. She is very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. We have a dog that we adopted from a rescue that has some issues. Dr Wellman has given us a lot of good advice to help us make him a better dog. I highly recommend Happy Paws Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Wellman is very caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She takes time with your pet. I've never had a vet who is so willing and able to communicate with me and other specialists. I've also used the Cat Hotel which is awesome. It's wonderful to go on vacation and know that my cat is in good hands.

Our first interaction was nothing but amazing!! We came in having to let our 12 y/o puppy go due to cancer. It was something that came on fast and aggressive. Our care was managed through a different provider but we were compelled to find another facility to walk through the process together, and thankful we found Happy Paws! This could not have been a better decision! I can only imagine the level of care and compassion Dr. Wellman has for her patients based on how much she gave my family and I during this very challenging time!
