Washington Park Veterinary Clinic Denver, Colorado

We've been coming here for a couple of years since relocating to Denver from Littleton. Was a bit worried that we'd have trouble finding a new vet that wouldn't provide the same attention and care our previous vet had given - or try to push unnecessary and high-priced treatments for our three pets (two senior cats and a large dog). But we have been very pleasantly surprised and happy with the care our pets have received from WPVC and with the veterinarian and other medical staff here. The location is great and easy to get to in the neighborhood, it's always clean inside the building, the vet seems to take time making her recommendations and is understanding of our own personal medical preferences and wishes when it comes to our animals' care, and we always leave feeling like we've gotten good information and thoughtful advice. Prices are a bit higher than what we paid previously, but still within reason, and they sell a good assortment of medicated shampoos, dental care treatments, dietary supplements and other pet supplies (but have also suggested on-line and human-grade alternatives when possible). We are so thankful to have this great resource in our neighborhood and for the care that this team have provided to our fur babies!

I have taken my dog Beans to Washington Park Vet for 3 years. I love how professional and caring everyone is and it’s one of my dogs favorite places to visit. Even when there are difficult procedures Beans can’t wait to come back and see the team at Wash Park. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for her.

I’ve been going here for the past 3 years. My late dog had lots of health issues which they navigated with ease - she loved the acupuncture! Dr Karen is always matter of fact and knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable. Great vet!

These people love their jobs. Everyone is so nice! I love that they are open on Saturdays. It can be a bit hard to get a last minute appointment but that's expected. I have been bringing my dogs here for 7 years and love it. I just wish it was closer to my house!

I was looking for a closer vet for my sick elderly dog. They set an appointment and then called me back with an appointment right away. Other offices didn't give me time of day. 1 returned my call almost a week later

I am very happy with the care and service the staff and Dr. provide. I have had Dobermans for 25 years and my expectations are high.

Great pet care! Never ever had an issue. Sometimes appointments are far out but plan ahead. Great location too!

This was my vet for my cat from when he was just a kitten. I stumbled upon this place just by chance and I couldn’t be happier over the last 19 years! Truly is an excellent vet all this time later my cat Monster lived a very healthy and long life and recently when I had to make the necessary decision. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the gentleness and caring for my kitty during that difficult time. Can’t thank you enough!!????

I got and out! The people were nice.

My dog was adopted from a shelter and is extremely distrustful of people, (and he manifests this anxiety with barking and snapping at people) so taking him to the vet is a stressful experience for both him and me. The team at Washington Park Veterinary Clinic is wonderful. They are incredibly professional and caring. They have worked with me to make sure that my pup can go in through a separate door, everyone entering the room does so very slowly and they do his exams & treatments quickly. So this is both a public thanks and a public apology - thanks for taking such good care of Mylo and sorry he's such a pain in the neck. I appreciate all that you do!

Never had an issue here. The service is good, the doctors are knowledgeableable and my dog seems to be happy every time he leaves

I LOVE the team here, they have taken the best care of my pets for a decade, finding hidden illnesses and extending their happy, healthy lives. Everyone is extremely gentle, caring and professional. They offer a wonderful combination of medical and holistic treatments. During the difficult time of Covid, Dr. Jones and her team have still been working, adopting enhanced safety protocols to keep everyone (pets, pet parents and staff) healthy. They have been challenged by some very ill-tempered humans in addition to their regular work with pets. I hope anyone who visits here will appreciate the staff as much as my family does and behave with kindness!

Horrible. I brought my cat in for checkup that had never left the house in 7 years. Vet tech grabbed the back of my cat's head like a baseball, not by the scruff, and drag her out of crate. I had no problem getting her out, but they took her in the back away from me and said she was hissing at them and couldn't get out of crate. No compassion or understanding of animal treatment or behavior. Don't take your beloved animal companions there!

Have used them for decades. I have found the vets uniformly smart and caring. Our current cats enjoy the boarding facility. What I value is their honesty when a diagnosis is not easy or they have to deliver bad news. They never push a treatment and always offer options.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Quick and easy visit for the cat.

Amazing care. My elderly dog had to be put down, which was very hard and sad for me, and they handled the situation with absolute care and respect. They treated my dog with love and care right up until the end, the doctor understood how hard that experience was for me and she guided me through it, and then the office provided me with a letter of condolence after. It was such a sad experience, but Washington Park Veterinary Clinic made it it as comfortable as possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Highly recommend this clinic.

Amazing experience for my first vet visit with my 12 week old puppy. Everyone was so nice and she felt very at ease here even though it was a new place and there were a lot of distractions for our puppy. I was able to ask questions I had as a first time puppy owner and get an understanding of what our next steps were as far as shots go. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Recommended by friends, this is the only place I take my cat. When I had to say goodbye to my older cat they were incredibly compassionate and patient.

Today I brought my ball python in for his dry scales under his belly. This was my first time bringing a pet to the vet so I was worried about the care and the cost of my appointment. They had us go into the back office very quickly. Dr. Jones was the lady Picco saw, and she was just wonderful. Very knowledgable and thorough with the exam. She gave me a great handout on caring for ball pythons. Being burned (literally) from the misinformation on the web I was excited to get some clear guidance to help my snake. Pricing was super reasonable for the check up and solution for his bath. After one soak his belly scales already feel less crusty and smoothing out. Thank you Washington Park Vet and everyone working there for taking care my danger noodle and I today. My one and only stop for my snake babies!!!!
