My dog was injured after getting into a fight with another dog. We were here overnight and even still the care and attentiveness of the team who was working was unparalleled. My sweet boy has a huge issue with vets, but they were able to keep him calm and treat him successfully. The cooperation, helpfulness, and kindness we received during this very scary experience outstanding; they really took a horrible situation and made it okay. I cannot thank them enough for the compassion they showed, and the dedication to healing a hurt pet instead of treating it like a business transaction. I believe the team working was Dr. Kelly Kirkley & Maggie C. Thank you so much!

My sweet 4.5 year old dog, Seymour, was diagnosed with a tumor on his spine at this vet and had to be put down soon after. The staff at this office went above and beyond to be comforting, kind, caring, and made sure we fully understood what was going on with our sweet dog. They sent a hand written card signed by a dozen staff members after he passed. I felt very supported by this vet and I highly recommend them.

Didn’t catch that my cat had a stroke. Not until we pointed out uneven pupils. Still they never took my cats blood pressure. Shoddy, inattentive and dismissive is how I would describe my experience with their ER.

Our sweet lil 10 week old baby pug Phoebe was playing with her momma when her eye got scratched pretty badly. We had rushed her to our Vet whom tried and did take great care of her giving us drops and antibiotics to help. A few days later it was worst our Vet contacted the doctors here at Blue Pearl they were beyond amazing with a full schedule they took her in evaluated her and preformed emergency surgery that evening to remove her eye. They were above and beyond compassionate and knowledgeable about her breed. I was terrified with her being so tiny but they took phenomenal care of our baby Phoebs! She just got her stitches out post op and has done amazing every day since surgery! I highly recommend this place! Staff is high class beyond 5 star service! Thank you all so much!♡ Our family is so grateful ???? You are in the best hands here!

Terrible!! Do not bring your animal here unless you are desperate. We paid over 4K for testing for our cat & received very minimal information about the results. I had to pry to get answers, had to call incessantly to keep them on course & received nothing but vague answers & very little guidance on how to care for our sick cat. Their communication & follow up is terrible. Incompetent, over-priced.

It is with overwhelming gratitude that I give this hospital 5 stars. My sweet whippet came down with very sudden and severe eye inflammation. He went from a perfectly normal dog to a very swollen, uncomfortable and inflamed dog very quickly - a matter of 3 days. After basic care from his primary, a specialist was recommended. How to find one with urgency was an issue. There aren't many. Some won't take new patients. Some won't return calls. Some have retired. The list becomes very narrow. This practice got me in the same day. Yes, I had to drive. Yes, I had to wait - they have a big load. But to just know they would get him was an incredible relief - we feel desperate for our ailing animals and for these amazing people to treat him with the same urgency that I felt is frankly emotional. They got him for a biopsy within 48 hours. It's scary and hard to drop your pet off for surgery of any kind, but after the first visit with Dr. Arnold, I knew we were in good hands and I was so relieved to get my dog help, and that he could get help so quickly. The diagnosis is still pending, but my little guy will surely be much more comfortable until a plan is made. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Arnold and the entire team. Truly, thank you.

Had to drive in from Longmont (Our ER vet just permanently closed for now) to get our puppy checked out for bloating. (She had gotten into my other dogs food and ate an unknown amount that caused said bloating and panting). Right away after filling out paperwork, the staff welcomed us and checked out our pup. Everything ended up alright and I’m just really glad with the service we received overall.

Staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Just had my dog diagnosed and treated there. Unfortunately my dog had very aggressive cancer and had to put her down. The whole staff was so compassionate and nice. Thank you

Would not recommend. My dog is pretty sick, pretty sure she swallowed a rock. I called at 7 on a Saturday morning, they told me to come in at 8, got there at 8 and waited until 9. I asked the front desk how much longer and she said she couldn’t give me an answer. They never brought my dog back to be seen.. Didn’t really seem to care about her either. Very disappointing. Ended up going to Aspen in Longmont.

Our rescue Miniature Schnauzer is being treated by Doctor Jennifer Arthur and the rest of her Oncology Team. I truly appreciate the loving care shown towards their furry patients and the sincere empathy when communicating with the parents/owners. I feel fortunate that Doctors and places like B.R.V.S/ Blue Pearl are available to help treat our four legged friends. Thank You!

We visited today with our dog and thought everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was really great to get to speak one on one with the veterinarian and vet tech about the situation, how my dogs blood work came out, and what his prognosis was. We never felt rushed or anything. I even called with questions as soon as we got home and was helped with friendly and prompt service. We are so appreciative of the care our dog and we received today.

I was told very matter of fact that there is a minimum 4 hr wait to be seen last night around 8:30 pm. The nurse came out to see us and apologized, but really? And this is not the first time this has happened at this location. I realize no one can foresee 'what' or 'when' things happen at an emergency facility, but if you're an Emergency facility you should be able to handle emergencies in a timely basis - 4 hours is unacceptable.

We want to thank DVM Emmy Briggs and the rest of the staff at Boulder Road Veterinary Specialists who helped us with our dog Misty on Thursday July 1st. .. It was a great experience from the first call we made in the morning all the way through to the end of our visit. While Misty's diagnosis wasn't what we had hoped for, you guys were all so nice and great throughout the entire experience. We definitely recommend going here for your emergency pet needs especially if your normal vet is booked or closed for the day.

Dr. Tzipory and staff at BRVS are the best. Dr. Tzipory saved the life of our beloved dog Toby. Dr. Tzipory successfully performed neurosurgery to repair Toby's ruptured disc. We highly recommend Dr. Tzipory, the other doctors, and staff at BRVS.

My cat was brought back for care immediately, after we arrived due to toxic plant ingestion. The entire time, the entire staff was incredibly kind, prompt, and informative. I was extremely worried about my cat, but I knew he was getting the best possible care here while there for 3 days. The veterinarians taking care of him always gave me phone call updates when they said they would, discussed his situation thoroughly, and answered all of my questions. I knew they were busy, but our conversations never felt rushed and they were very present. Huge thank you to Dr. Levesque and Dr. Grochowsky; I knew I could trust them. Dr. Grochowsky was very calm and warm in his phone-call updates; very professional and definitely helped calm my nerves. I highly recommend any pet owner in the area to have Boulder Road in mind in case they ever need emergency pet care. I was highly satisfied with their care and am so grateful to them!!

We are so grateful for this clinic! Our new adopted puppy had some severe GI issues and they cared for her extremely well. They helped put our fears to rest and made our baby feel better in record time. This will absolutely be our emergency clinic in the future.

Based of the one and only experience I had here I will never be here again. I had a puppy dying in the parking lot while their front receptionist "mandy" insisted on getting my email correct and wasn't able to help. I had to hang up and call again to get someone else to help after I've already been waiting for over 10 minutes. After someone finally came they took it was not only to late to save my puppy but I wasn't aloud inside. The doctor called me and told me what was going on, while Mandy, called me 6 times repeatedly. I'm not trying to put any blame on anyone but professionalism is professionalism. DO NOT GO HERE.

They hooked my dog's feeding/nutrition tube up to her IV instead of to the feeding tube into her stomach so she had nutrition pumped into her veins on accident for over an hour! We had to put her down later that day. Two days later they called to see how my pet was doing at home even though we put her down in their office after their mistake. A week later and no one has called to give us an update on our refund or take ownership for this malpractice. I am heartbroken about all of it.

I was a nervous wreck and so worried about my pup when I arrived this morning. But I was immediately reassured by the orderly, professional, CARING and friendly way both my puppy and I were treated….Especially impressed by and grateful to Dr.Levesque and her assistant Maddie!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

I am currently sitting in the parking lot at 3am and the emergency staff have been amazing all night.

I saw the ophthalmology department for my pup who was having vision issues. Dr. Arnold was amazing the entire appointment. He was very informative and even explained my dogs disease in a way that I, with no medical background, was able to understand what was happening not only with my pups eyes now but also for in the future. As my dog is going blind, he also recommended many options for blind proofing my house. All around an amazing visit! I highly recommend BRVS and Dr. Arnold for future visits.

They saved our dog's life in the middle of the night. Awesome and caring group of people!

I literally can’t say enough about this place! My dog went full stupid and got a marrow bone stuck around his lower jaw and they were so helpful! They were able to wrestle it off without hurting him or needing to sedate him. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets and is looking for amazing care!

On Wednesday, April 14th, my family and I had to bring our 12 year old lab in for an emergency appointment. He had been experiencing trouble with his back legs for a few days and they suddenly became paralyzed. Our longtime vet sent us here since he wasn't sure if Murphy was having skeletal or neurological issues. I want to thank Dr. MacDowell for her kind, thoughtful, caring, and supportive attention given to all of us. Unfortunately, we had to put our sweet pup down that evening. Thank you to the all of the staff who were present and helpful during this devastating situation. ❤ The only thing I would ding them on is the fact that my daughter needed to use the restroom and was basically denied the use of one. I saw my daughter last night and this fact still bothers her. She said that she wanted to be fully present for Murphy, but she was unable to because of that fact. I understand Covid protocol because I am a teacher, but my daughter is a nurse and fully vaccinated. This is meant as constructive feedback in the hopes that the next family who is going through something traumatic like this might be given more consideration.

I deff recommend! Day before yesterday my 2 year old lab start cluster Seizureing they were the only ones who would take her in. They did amazing with her and with us! She was held for a 24hr period. We were called with updates very often we could call when ever not one nasty person at all!! I am very pleased

I had to take my cat Toulouse here after he got no help from a place in Boulder called Uniquely Cats. That place charged an arm and a leg and did nithing for my poor sick guy. The next dsy I called BRVS and they advised I bring him in. From that call to now, they have been AMAZING. My cat was so sick he had to be hospitalized. They were so great in varing for him, keeping me well informed, and they got him feeling better. Had I listened to Uniquely Cats it could of killed my cat. These people saved him. There are no words to thank them enough. First pic is right before I took him. Thats how he looked for Uniquely Cats. Yet they didn't help him. The secind picture is after BRVS helped him and we were reunited!!!

I have never been here but had a big worry with one of my dogs late at night and they answered my question. It was very nice of them to tell me the truth and not just try to get me in there to spend money to monitor her.

I had to take my cat in for am minor emergency as my regular vet was booked for several days. They made a quock diagnosis and got gim all patched up. Great value too, especially for a last minute visit. Will definitely go baxk amd would recommend.
