Got us in when our other vet couldn't. Diagnosed and treated our Mastiff mix's ear infection, saving Christmas! Seriously, very professional and thorough with examination and explanation of our dog's problem, along with a plan for prevention. After about 20 years with the same veterinary practice, I think we just found a better alternative.

I took my newly adopted dog here and everyone was extremely friendly. He is a big dog and full of energy and all the staff were great with him. I also didn't feel at all rushed by the doctor, and had all my questions answered well. "Ruffles" left happy and feeling like he had a fun trip with me - he will be thrilled to go back next time.

This place is absolutely terrible! They will say one thing on your email and then send you another email later saying something different. Every time there’s an appointment they’re always running behind they say. Hi highly do not recommend this place ! Terrible terrible terrible!!!

Staff here was super friendly and made our furr baby feel at ease. Loved that they talked about pricing before just performing service. Will definitely return to them.

They were afraid of our lab and refused to give him a shot without sedating him. Took him to another vet the same week who had zero issues. The new vet was friendly, played with our dog, gave him a treat and of course was able to give him his needed shots. Our experience (2times) at Laurel was the opposite!!!

We love Laurel but dislike the high turnover you have with your vets. We find a vet we really like and the next time we make an appt we find they have left. Also, the front office seems very sterile looking now. We liked it better when there were pictures on the walls and the board showing the names of dogs who were coming in for appts. It was much more welcoming.

We recently adopted a cat from the humane society. We came here after the nearest vet said they had no openings. Im glad they didn't take us. This place was great. All the people, from receptionists to the vet were friendly and cared about the health and wellness of our sweet Casper. Because we adopted him from a rescue, his first wellness exam was free. Casper loved them too.

I cant talk on the service because I never got contacted back. My kitty was having breathing issues and I tried to make an appointment...which never happened. I got a text and no return follow up. Ended up taking my cat the next day to another pet hospital where I eventually had to put her down. Find someone that will answer the phone or at least follow up with patients. Your providing a service for possible sick and injured pets...where is the professionalism?

Everybody at Laurel have been absolutly terrific from our first visit to our last. I have a 20yr. old chiweeny. Laurel has saved her life twice and because of the advice and treatment recieved is still a major part of our family today. I first took her to Laurel after being told by another vet that she would not live through the night as she was very sick with pneumonia. Laurel saw her as an emergency and helped us divert costs until a later date as I am on disability. They found she had a heart problem which caused a lot of her issues. They treated her and put her on an on going treatment program. Today her heart has not become worse it in fact sounds better and at 20yrs. old she is still a large part of our family. Laurel always has returned phone calls, answered questions, gave advise when she had other issues, helped find ways to pay for things by either scheduling, credit care, etc. In short Laurel Veterinary is the absolutely the Best Veterinary clinic around. Thanks everybody at Laurel for everything, Roxy and her family

The reception at this place was not very compassionate when I was there. They were addressing a cremation client in front of others and had no sympathy to what this family was going through. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in. It took them a minute because they were in a conversation. There were about 5 people behind the desk. The rugs were full of hair and extremely gross. I have been going here for 6/7 years and this place has gone extremely down hill. It is very cold when you walk in with no pictures on the wall or the name board to greet pets. Dr Jason Johnson and Dr Chelsea Schuster are no longer there and they took FANTASTIC care of my dogs!! I was very hesitant to stay! But Dr Boos is wonderful and she took care of our new puppy and helped us euthanize one of my dogs! She is very compassionate and personable! We do love her. But as far as the rest of the clinic it needs to step back and become a more friendly, inviting place!

We have been taking our cats to Laurel for years, and have loved working with the staff and vets there. They are typically able to fit in appointments quickly even though they are always busy, and the vets take the time to sit and talk with us, thoroughly explaining things and making sure we understand our options. Our French bulldog typically goes to another vet that specializes in bulldogs, but we just took our sick pup into Laurel today because the other vet couldn't squeeze him in for several weeks. We are so thankful that we called Laurel. Even though we couldn't go inside due to the ongoing pandemic, the wonderful vet took the time to talk to me on the phone about what might be wrong our pup and our options for treating him. So thankful for these kind people. We will be bringing our pup back here in the future, for sure!

I recently had to bring in my dog for an emergency visit early in the morning. Without hesitation they took my dog and treated me and my dog with respect, with the highest level of care that I’ve ever received from a veterinary office. They truly care not only about the animals that come in to their office, but the people that own them. They have a true dedication and passion to not only make sure that your animal feels safe and cared for but you also feel cared for and understand what’s going on with your animal. I highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone who is trying to find a vet who will truly cares about your animals health.

It has taken me a few months to be able to write this review. Though having good customer service, I am extremely disappointed in the length of time it took the doctors (1.5 months) to even hint at and finally diagnose Scout's cancer. She was losing weight drastically, and repeatedly having diarrhea and vomiting, and they kept prescribing metronidazole on multiple visits, as if it is the cure-all drug (it is not). Scout was my first puppy and I had no idea what was going on, but the doctors could have much sooner done tests for cancer vs taking the long route, when time was of the essence. A quicker diagnosis would have given her a better chance of survival. She was not even 7 years old, and I miss her each and every day. I also take issue with the lack of training of most vets in dietary nutrition, and mostly looking at things from a drug perspective. This needs to change in both pet and human medicine, and allow room for a more global outlook for health and prevention in order to really change the massive cancer epidemic we are experiencing. The answer to why a dog gets cancer is not, "We just don't know" (Laurel's answer to me). We are better and smarter than this, and diet nutrition is a huge part of it. And chemo is not the only way to fight cancer--there are several alternative routes that have proven effective, but Laurel highly discouraged me from going down those routes. For what? Now my puppy is gone. The veterinary industry needs to reform and be more concerned with the actual health of pets vs. the money they make, and I say this from our terrible experience with my beloved pet who suffered so much, in order to prevent this from happening again and again. Thank you.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Schuster for years. She is great with my dogs, and she is always so patient and kind with all of my questions. They are also super reasonably priced.

Laurel has been so great in assisting me with navigating some major health issues in my elderly schnauzer. They've worked so hard keeping me informed and helping me balance effective treatment and quality of life. I recommend them highly to all my pet-owning friends.
