The front desk lady is amazing. I was requesting records for a patient for our hospital and she was so sweet. She even called back letting me know the little notes and history of our new patient. Very helpful staff.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. A great place to bring your pets. We will continue to bring our pets here for years to come.

Vet tech was very nice. The vet was nice. My cat was not a fan of needles and the vet tech was amazing and helped her get her shots.

I have been going to VCA for over 6 years now ( I’ve gone two different VCAs since I have moved from Denver to Centennial) and have always had good experiences until recently. I have a very anxious dog who experienced trauma when she was young and I adopted her later in her life. I explained all this to them prior to the appointment and we gave my dog a sedative to try to ease the process. I brought my dog in for a potential ear infection and it’s turned out she had a double. I paid to have the dogs ears treated professionally which was very expensive. At my first appointment they told me that they would administer the treatment and at the second treatment they would do the same and also take a look at the ears to make sure they are clearing up. At the second appointment, though they did give her a second treatment, they said they did not really get to look inside her ears because she was too nervous, even though she was given a a sedative that round as well. This is upsetting for me as a owner because I am not a professional and do not know how to tell what my dogs ears need. When I asked what to look for to make sure they were healing the nurse told me to “google it” and didn’t give me the time of day to answer questions. $300 dollars for me google it! Super unprofessional and quite frankly I don’t think they gave my dog the care and attention she needed for the money I spent. It’s been exactly two months and I’m taking her in again for another ear infection though I will be going else where to make sure she is getting proper care. The impression I got at Orchard is that if your dog has any issues and isn’t a easy treat, then you are on your own. Please be careful with your rescues here, they deserve love too.

I normally have had good appointments at VCA Orchard. However my latest appointment ended with us feeling like the Doctor didn't really look at my dog and we were overcharged for what we got. My dog had horrible breath and very red gums that were bleeding. I know my dog and he wasn't doing well. When we got to VCA, the Doctor looked at him for 5 minutes and called us to say he had mild gingivitis and we should just brush his teeth. We were charged $96 for 5 minutes. I knew there was more going on but I diligently brushed his teeth twice a day for a week and watched his poor gums bleed and his well-being decline. I took him to another vet who couldn't believe the diagnosis. My dog had periodontal disease and needed extractions of at least 2 teeth. He was given antibiotics and they fit him in for a dental cleaning ASAP. The vet told me that you can't mess around with the mouth. My dog started improving within a day. I don't know what happened that day but we really feel like we let him suffer for an entire week with bad instructions. The other vet only charged us $60 for the appointment and an antibiotic. (Obviously the dental cleaning will be much more) It is so tough when you know your dog and you know something is wrong and you know what you're hearing is wrong but you have to listen to a vet. I WANTED TO ADD AN UPDATE. VCA ORCHARD CALLED ME AND RESEARCHED THE SITUATION. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CONCERNED. I APPRECIATED THE RESPONSE AND THANKED THEM FOR TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY.

Dr. Kerr and Dr. Flanagan are outstanding vets! They’ve taken such great care of our cats over the years that even though we moved to Denver proper, we keep coming back. Front desk reps are caring and helpful, and we’ve never had a bad experience here.

Okay I get it that we need to take COVID-19 precautions but I’m not dropping my new puppy off like he’s some dry cleaning. Everyone else let’s at least one person in.

Went above and beyond! I have experienced many veterinarians including other VCA Animal Hospital’s and I was very happy with their professionalism at the Orchard & Holly location. I was a rather tough customer, I’m sure. We were moving from DTC to Honolulu & there is a huge process involved when moving to Hawaii with a pet. For those who have done this with their pet, you know it’s not easy and there are things that cannot control. My dog Sebastian is my ESA, so I couldn't have made the move without him. Dr. Flannigan & staff were excellent. We had some obstacles but she handled it like a champ, even reaching out to corporate to get some help at one point. Thank you very much for all of your help!

I have two golden retrievers both have issues with their skin which is very common among this breed. I regularly take my dogs here for a monthly skincare routine. The vets are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this hospital. Thank you, guys!

We started bringing our dog here in 2014 and our experience with Dr. Flanagan and Kim was great throughout the years. They were always very caring, flexible, helpful and responsive (especially over text) until our dog peacefully passed away there last month. I would suggest taking a peek at their monthly memberships too as ours helped migrate some of our costs the last couple of years.

I was just singing praises about this place and wanted to write it down on here. This is a great vet. I love Dr. Flanagan. She takes such great care of my dog, Pancho. She’s very knowledgeable, caring, patient when answering my many questions, and clearly enjoys her job and the animals she works with. I’d make the thirty minute drive from Aurora whenever Pancho needs to see her. We’ve seen other vets here too and they are good as well. But special shout out to Dr. Flanagan because she’s exceptional!

On Thursday October 17th we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our Yorkie of 17 plus years. He was a huge part of our family. That day was very sad for us. Before we said our goodbyes we filled out the forms that were provided for the cremation, his remains, and if we would like a paw print. We choose to have his ashes returned to us, as well as getting the paw print. On the sheet that we filled out we had written in which paw we wanted, his back right. This was very important to us because he only had three toes. We got the call today that our dog was ready for us to pick him up. To my wife’s surprise when she saw the paw print, it was not the paw that we requested. This is very upsetting to us. Not only did the technician disregard our request, when I spoke to Kim today there was a comment “There’s not much we can do now”. That insensitive comment, and lack of attention to detail brings concerns that this is the right place for our pets. We have been coming to VCA Orchard since our heelers were puppies. Both of them are on Care Club. I can not explain to you how disappointed I am with the service that has been provided.

The doctors wouldn't even look at my daughter's cat, who was in distress. They told her to go to an animal ER. If you're not an animal hospital that will take care of emergencies, then you shouldn't call yourself one.

We love this vet. We found them a few years ago when we adopted a shelter cat and they offered a free first exam. One of our cats has a birth defect in her chest and gets sick quite often, and VCA actually caught the defect on her X-ray after a different emergency vet completely missed it. If we hadn't brought her in to VCA for a follow-up, she probably would have died. They have also been great with our other cat and our dog. When we got our dog, she had a whole mess of shelter diseases in addition to a severe food allergy. The shelter vet was convinced she had pancreatitis and wanted us to pay for costly ultrasounds and testing, but the vet at VCA recognized it as a food allergy and saved us a ton of money by just switching her to a hypo-allergenic food. Some of the other reviews on here say they are a bit pricey, which I haven't really seen. For me though, I would never compromise on quality of care for my pets just to save a few bucks. We moved across town two years ago and I still drive 40+ minutes to bring my pets in because of the excellent quality of care and attentiveness that we have received here.

$206 to have my dogs nail clipped and wrapped in gauze. Be careful and don't let them take your dog to the back without you or you may pay something ridiculous like I did. Most expensive nail trim ever.

Last week I had my elderly Maltese in for a dental cleaning. This procedure was preceded by an exam which included an exam and blood work costing over $350. A bit pricey but the care there is good. We were then scheduled for the cleaning …

We've been going to VCA orchard for almost 2 years now and they are fantastic. They're always able to fit us in same day and the doctors are great. Not sure what else to say but I definitely don't think anything under 4 stars is deserved.
