Parkside Animal Health Center Aurora, Colorado

Curbside only. No one told us anything about that, but when I arrived there was a sign to call to check-in. Person on the phone states they are not letting people in with their pets, and starts asking about cats medical history while I'm outside on a cell phone next to Parker road. I said I could hardly hear and I was thinking of going somewhere else, she goes 'ok'... Not even concerned. Not doing business here!

I have been using Parkside as my primary care vet for my little terrier mix for three years now and they are always so kind and sweet to him. You can tell the Dr's and the Techs there all love what they do and they explain things clearly and will listen intently to your concerns and questions. Parkside goes above and beyond!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! AND HERE IS WHY: It is so hard to find a good vet these days and I had hoped this small and intimate office proved all the doubts I had wrong. But they did not. I adopted my dog from a rescue site that recommended this vet office and at first I had no issues. Yes, they are more expensive than most places but we valued the "personal" local feel especially since my dog can get overwhelmed easily with other dogs. Rarely are there other animals in there and now I see why. As of late my dog has become ill. I immediately scheduled an appointment in hope they would provide me guidance on next steps as I knew my dogs health was declining rapidly. I was told false information in order for them to get more money out of me. They took blood work and I had to follow up with them 5x+ in order for them to call me back with the results. The times I spoke with Dr. Winton, she seemed annoyed and short - as if I was wasting her time with my questions. She provided no guidance and offered no sympathy towards our situation. If anything, she made us doubt every decision we made along the way even though we were dealing with minimal to no information. We wasted valuable time because they were: 1) APATHETIC 2) UNRESPONSIVE 3) CARELESS They passively told us to take our dog to see a specialist - mixing up our antibiotics with the new specialist office and their office. Again, offering no apology or guidance. In no way does this review give us back the valuable time we could have had to save our dogs life. Yes, it is easy to want to blame someone for a loss but I hope anyone who reads this review never finds themselves in this situation. Ifthey do, I hope they RUN FROM THIS PLACE and find a vet who actually puts the value of an animals life ahead of money. Perhaps find a vet who provides guidance and support; answers questions without sounding like you are wasting their time.

I really love this clinic! I was so surprised how thorough they are in examining my dog! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

They were very knowledgeable, attentive, and so clean. Our dogs loved them too.

Love how each doctor sits on the floor with the animals. They don't rush them to come over for an exam. Always gentle with the cats and my dog. My Mom has already recommended Parkside to one of her friends. Keep up the great work.

We brought my dog in a few months ago, and the staff took care of him with such love and compassion. They delivered that same love and compassion when Sawyer crossed the rainbow bridge. The respect and care they gave to my best friend when they took him to be cremated and when they returned him to me was more than I could have ever imagined. Not only did they hand him back to me with love and empathy, but a pawprint and a pamphlet about coping with grief was included. And a donation to commemorate my sweet boy in the form of a tree planted in his name, too? Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will always bring my fur babies here.

Great place. Dr. Winton and her staff are super nice and make you and your pets feel comfortable. We will be going back.

We have used Parkside for many years with 2 pets. They are wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable Vets who care for both pets and owners.

They were super nice and attentive to my kitties! They seem to really care about the animals! They even called the next business day to make sure my kitties were doing well after their vaccinations! I was worried about the price going in since it's in a nicer area, but it's comparable and maybe a little cheaper than the other vet offices! Super happy to have found them!

I had reason to believe that my cat had blood in her urine, based on discoloring in her litter box. Parkside was not able to get me in that day, but set an appointment for 8 a.m. the next day. Tests showed just a tiny amount of blood in the urine, but revealed that she is in the early stages of renal failure. Parkside set me up right away for weekly visits to inject fluids at a very reasonable cost, and started her on a special diet to help manage her condition. Although I know she's lived longer than many cats do, I know she'll have more time and quality of life through this process than would have been possible otherwise. The staff at Parkside has been wonderful to deal with, and I know she's in good hands with them.

Knowledgeable, practical, and kind. Always reasonably easy to get an appt. Never tries to upsell products, procedures, or prescriptions. Only good so far!

Took my new pup here for a checkup and to get some more vaccinations. Staff was really friendly and was fantastic with Udon. Pricing was very reasonable too.

We've been taking our pets to Parkside for years. Just had annual exams and as usual they took a lengthy amount of time and care with them. Excellent staff and service.

Simply the best, most attentive and skilled vet practice we've encountered in the decades we've been pet owners. 7 stars.
