Seems like they are more interested in getting your money then answering your questions on your pets. Then they don’t talk much about the pain medication they give when they should because it makes your animal so out of it they can’t do anything! It should be a priority to give an antibiotic and that should have been mentioned as well. Now we can’t even get our pet to take the antibiotic but we were told we needed the pain med, also told he had arthritis but he jumps onto a 4 foot table and goes up and down stairs….don’t know who to trust or if people just want money all the time. When I phoned back this morning after, she sure didn’t want to talk to me on the phone regarding the medication….? The assistant said Just try to get him to take, he doesn’t want to take after pain medication! And if the UTI isn’t that bad and they say there’s glucose in the urine why the pain meds? They want $200 bloodwork to diagnose further. You pay for an exam - they don’t really do an exam, don’t check his teeth, ears etc.Paid for urinalysis and ultrasound. Does this vet have experience?

I have been bringing my sweet puppy Tito to SMCAH for roughly 10 years and we’ve had a wide variety of needs including, dental cleaning and extraction, broken paw (which brought us in several times a month for 3+ months) and even just a toenail trim. The vets and staff are so caring and genuine. I wouldn’t trust Tito anywhere else and even she can feel the love!

Best vet office in Greeley!

Unfortunately it seemed the inexperienced vet was more interested in endless testing and expensive perscription food. Did not diagnose the obvious injury. We are not returning.

Was the only place available for a week, but made sure they could get me an appointment, despite it being busy. Made suggestions on proper care and didn't sound condescending. Gave me medicine for next time, since my dog is very hypersensitive/ excessively anxious. Provided an estimate, and tried to cut those costs where possible to provide lowest cost care possible, without cutting corners. Will be returning here for normal veterinary care. Kind staff met me at my car and were understanding/patient with our new nervous patient. Thank you!

Trying to find a small/exotic pet vet that was available during an emergency, on a holiday weekend (during this pandemic, no less) was incredibly frustrating, but this place made time, got my critter set up with the right meds and did it with empathy, kindness and professionalism. I will definitely use this vet in the future!!

Not impressed. The costs are too high. The worst part was my dog, he is 8, kept wining and had soreness for a week after shots. He has NEVER had that. Also, they charged another $78. Vet for booster shot required after 3 weeks of vaccine. Terrible

Dr Patton and Staff Hello, We have had some major miscommunications with you and your staff. I feel like you need to revisit how you are doing your curbside office visits as playing telephone with the tech running in and out passing messages from patient to veterinarian is not working, at least for us. I’m not sure why we can’t be on the phone while you are examining, numerous other clinics are doing this. It’s nice to speak directly with the Vet. This being said here is my list of grievances as I’m just at my wits end overpaying. On 5/18/2020 we brought Rollo in for his general new initial visit with your clinic and to have him checked out for worms etc. since I saw one in his poop. You confirmed cherry eye and gave us a flyer , which we thought was super uninformative, but figured if cherry eye was severe you would have communicated this with us via the tech running in and out passing messages, so we figured all was good he was vaccinated, dewormed, given bravecto and heart worm meds. We were very happy. We followed the plan you wrote out on our receipt and proceeded to give Rollo his next heart worm medicine on 7/18/2020. Your notes didn’t say to give him a 6/18/2020 dose just an FYI or to bring him in for more testing! So on 7/22/2020 we brought Rollo in for his ears he was shaking his head. The male tech who collected Rollo must have lost control since my dog ran lose in st Michaels until it was brought to my attention I needed to help him catch my dog. He said to me thank god there weren’t any cars....ummmm thanks guy you lost control of my puppy and that’s what you got for me huh? I had to walk Rollo in to make sure he made into the office. Tech came out and said to me it was time to buy more heartworm medicine and bravecto and I declined because he just had his 7/18/2020 dose as per the schedule that your office set up for heart worm. I declined bravecto and told him the last time I was in you guys charged me in advance for his next dose bravecto to be given on 8/18/2020 and Rollo has grown out it as he weighed 95lbs on 7/22/2020. He said fine don’t give it, it won’t work. Cool we won’t but thanks for the overcharge in May. We got the drops for his eyes and were told to come back for a recheck next month. It’s now next month. On 8/22/2020 we brought Rollo in for his recheck. They said his ears looked fine but did a cytology anyway at my partners request to confirm totally fine with this! We got more steroid drops for his cherry eye. Ray asked for a current weight and 1 dose of heartworm for August 2020 as we won’t know what his weight will be in September. We were charged for a heartworm test that I feel was unnecessary since we were in on May 18, 2020 for that already. Then I see that we were charged for two months of heart worm. This month and next. This is why I am so beyond upset. Ray spoke directly to Cat and let her know we were upset about being overcharged for medicine in the past visits and she promised it wouldn’t happen again. And yet here we are. Overcharged for more heartworm medicine for next month and a second heartworm test in 3 months. I do not really appreciate Cats call as she blamed Ray for the miscommunications after he told her our needs and how they hadn’t been met previously with being overcharged for medicines we couldn’t use. I also do not appreciate Whitney’s call talking about how she can’t be in the middle of our domestic dispute. The dispute was caused by your office, any discord we have currently in our household has been caused by the fact that Ray told Cat our needs and they were not met....AGAIN. I’m sorry your office feels attacked, but being defensive doesn’t help. We already feel defensive about being taken advantage of which is why we decided he following:

Hard to put into words how awesome this place is! They helped us with our rabbits, are knowledgeable, and have great customer service. Vets and staff took personal interest in our pets and provided 6 star service, including checking back after each visit on our pet's well being, and even redoing a botfly larvae removal procedure when we found out they missed one (free of charge). Prices also seem reasonable for services rendered. FYI: Will NEVER go to West Ridge Animal Hospital again due to lack of information provided to us in time of need.

We LOVE Dr. Whitnee and her staff at St. Michael's Companion. Dr. Whitnee exudes compassion, professionalism and great knowledge. She listens to our needs and concerns. Very responsive and quick to our needs. We've been with her for 10 years with our Labradoodle - Limu (he loves her).

I’m so impressed with the professionalism and compassion. Especially during Covid-19. They used every safety measure possible, curbside, masks, gloves, disinfecting everything they touch. They treat not just your pet, but the human. I highly recommend!

I am so thankful that I went to St. Michaels Companion Clinic!!! I took my Eclectus Parrot in today, and the Vet and the team were incredible!!! I had been to another Avian clinic in town, and wasn't happy with the services or my parrots diagnosis, so I needed a second opinion. They were Awesome and set my mind at ease with his diagnosis and treatment!!! I would recommend them for any fur or feathered baby!!!!!!! Thank you so much St. Michaels ❣️❣️

I so appreciate Dr. Whitnee Patten and her entire team! I'm a veterinarian, but I don't do dentals and such, so I need somebody I can trust to take care of my furry babies! They all did such a great job with my dog, Uriah, both times he needed dentals. I highly recommend this caring crew of dedicated professionals, and I refer my own clients to them whenever possible.

I wish there is more than 5 ⭐ ; One of our dogs got into some mischief with a squirrel on a Saturday mid morning, we had taken her to the emergency clinic and the estimated cost was costly. While she was in the clinic I made some calls and St. Michaels happened to be open and were able to see her right away. They did emergency surgery right away and able to send her home within 1.5 hours. Needless to say same dog got into mischief again with a squirrel on a Friday evening. Again they stepped in and saved us. I now use them us our veterinarian and highly recommend them. Today (6-10-2020) my dogs and normal check ups and I heard each girl was very smiley and happy to be there; that makes momma happy that her babies are happy to see the vet.
