River Valley Gateway cannot be praised enough. The gal that answered the phone (sorry I forgot her name) was so kind and answered all my questions and we had some good laughs. They were able to do the same day we called which really was important to us under the circumstances. Dr. Norton was amazing and incredibly compassionate. From the second she stepped into our home and gave me a hug until the moment she left we felt comfortable and grateful for her. Our Mastiff was 10 and we knew we wouldn't be able to get him into a car. Dr. Norton took her time and made our last day with him peaceful. It was so nice for Magnus to be at his home and not in a sterile office environment. Their after care options are great as well and they offer several choices. I will definitely recommend her and her services to everyone I know when the tough time comes.

We had to put our 16 year old sweet Marley to rest today. Dr. Denice was so incredibly kind and compassionate for the whole process Their traveling services made it possible for Marley to go peacefully in her own yard while soaking up the sun shine. It really eliminated the anxiety of getting her to an office setting for our sweet girl, and my family.

The process was treated with the respect it needed to have and was also very kind to our children and walked them through the whole process. I would recommend this business to anyone.

This is a great Vet to work with for your pets final needs. We have had River Valley Gateway out to our home twice in the past year and have been impressed with their care and attentiveness on both occasions. I highly recommend this local company when the time comes.

If you have to put down your best friend or family pet I'd highly suggest River Valley Gateway to anyone. I had to say goodbye to my best friend the other day, Bandit, he was a good ol boy 18 years we were together. These people at river valley are awesome. They are sympathetic to the customers aswell as the animals needs. They can do many nice things for your pet such as paw prints, nose prints, urns, ect... which was very hard for me to try an do while he was still alive. And if you don't puck a custom urn then they still give you a very nice one. Made me happy that it wasn't just a cardboard box like I was expecting. They definitely did the best they could to honor my ol man dog bandit. And I will use them again in the future when the time comes for my other fur babies.

As heart breaking as losing your dog to aggressive cancer is ,this service Definitely made my loss of my sweet dog the best situation for her . She was terrified of the vets office and having compassionate people to walk me through this end of life process.

Denice is kind and caring. She euthanized my cat last year and I have been recommending her ever since. It wasn't a pleasant experience by its very nature but Denice was so sweet and informative. She let my other cats say goodbye and I appreciated that more than anything.

We have been to a number of Veterinarian Clinics and Hospitals in the Grand Valley with our dog Roy. We have never been treated with the level of knowledge, respect and professionalism this staff had to offer.

They handled my baby girls cremation with such caring and dignity I felt like they were part of her family. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants to honor their pets! The love and care they shared with me and my last moment with my dog was amazing both in-home vetcare and at the cremation.

Although it was the hardest thing ive ever had to do, river valley gateway helped me send my baby girl over the rainbow bridge. Juno was 5 years old, a pit and Dalmatian mix. She had severe kidney and liver failure, and it was not curable. I called around 8 and they were at the house by 2. They let us take our time to say our goodbyes, and to allow Juno to be relaxed and calm. They did everything carefully and took their time to explain it to us. When they first arrived, we showed them the paperwork from her vet visit and were comforted by being told we were doing the right thing. That there was nothing else we could have done. I never wanted to say goodbye to my baby girl at such a young age, but I could not have imagine doing it another way than the way river valley gateway did. At home, slowly, detailed, and HUMANE. I moved three days after everything and they made sure they had her ashes ready for me, so she could come home to her family. Thank you for making the hardest day of my life a little bit easier, you truly are a god sent group of people. I also want to add that their pricing is wonderful, very generous and caring.

We were very fortunate to have Dr. Norton and her staff help us through the passing on of our beloved dogs, Harvey and Cubby. They were able to spend their last moments peacefully in our home. Dr Norton is extremely competent and compassionate.The Grand Valley is lucky to have her and her hospice practice to provide this very needed service.

I’m not one to write reviews, however after the service we received today I felt compelled to. We had to say goodbye to our 11 year old boxer Floyd today. He’s always been nervous about going to the vet so I wanted to make his transition as easy and stress free as possible. We called River Valley at 8:00am and they were at our house by 10:00. They were so respectful and understanding and made one of the worst days of our lives a little easier. Thank you so much for providing animals a way to exit this world at home where they feel safe and comfortable. Floyd’s passing was so peaceful and pain free. I cannot thank you enough for what you did for us today. I strongly suggest River Valley to anyone having to make one of the hardest decisions of a lifetime.

Dr. Norton came to Silt and helped us send our best girl on her next journey. At such a painful time her calm and caring demeanor was such a balm to hurting hearts. I highly recommend her services to anyone in a similar position.

One of the hardest things to do is to put your senior pet to rest. After 15 years with our sweet Chloe we made the hard decision to say goodbye to our fury family member.
