Genesee Veterinary Hospital Golden, Colorado

We had to have our 90 lb dog sedated to have her nails clipped yesterday. She wouldn’t let anyone near them, and I was nervous about her nail sensitivity, but she really needed them trimmed down. She came out of it pain free and today she is so happy- she has been running around with extra bounce because Dr. Malleck did such an impeccable job. I feel so grateful for this- and so does my dog. Also.. I really appreciate that this office answers the phone as often as they do. The front staff is really good about this. I have been to other vets where you call and leave a message and then they text you sometimes a day later. This office is busy, but they manage to answer their phone a lot more than most, and that is always such a relief for me and I’m sure other pet owners. Thank you guys!

Very kind place to take your pet. I had never been there before but it was time to say goodbye to our sweet, beautiful Labradoodle, Ginjer. When we arrived, they were waiting for us, had a blanket for my dog to lay down on and were very patient as we comforted our dog, waited for a family friend to arrive who wanted to say goodbye as well. When it was over, again they were in no hurry and told us to take as much time as we needed. We had decided to have our dog cremated and I had said that I would like to have a paw print which they promised to do. And they did which I received in the mail with a very sweet card to me.

Dr Rebecca is awesome and popular with my friends and family as well.

Dr. Malleck is an amazing vet!

My wife brought our cats in to have them neutered. While the staff was friendly, the doctor was not welcoming and very rude to the point that our 9 yr old daughter felt uncomfortable. The doctor aggressively pressured my wife to perform treatments, in addition to the neutering, that we felt were completely unnecessary. We had such a bad feeling from the doctor that we did not trust her to perform the procedure and ultimately decided to pickup our cats and take them elsewhere to have the procedure done. Pets are like family and veterinarians should make sure that the pet, as well as the pet's caretaker, feel comfortable.

Dr. Mallack is an amazing vet. She takes good care of all our pets. She treats them like their her own and I can tell she loves them like we do.

Becky is an amazing vet and the staff are so caring. Our dog was so ill from a boarding infection and dehydration. We are so blessed to have our dogs healthy again and love Becky and her staff .

Dr. Mallek has been our vet at Genesee Veterinary Hospital for many, many years and has been amazingly wonderful. She has gone above and beyond, offering to make house calls and providing expert care for our dear cat. She is an excellent surgeon and so experienced with pet problems big and small. She never appears rushed and listens empathetically to all our concerns. We are so grateful for her and her team for all their kind, extraordinary care.
