The reviews are good to read, but you can tell things have changed. We used to bring our dog here a long time ago around 2018-2019 and we loved it. Around 2020 things changed. The staff seemed like they didn’t care and the owner was NOT good with people. We needed a place for our dog to go for thanksgiving and wanted to give The dog house another go. We called and the guy Chris wasn’t very professional but when got an email saying two old staff members were coming back and that reassured us! Took our dog for about a week and he was so happy! He ran inside as Maddie greeted him. He’s gotten old but he ran right in and started to play from what I saw. Glad to see things moving up for the dog house! Maddie and Emily have an amazing attitude about turning things around! Only reason 4 stars is because of the man we we first came into contact with. He could use some work.

Our family dog went to board with them over thanksgiving and came back such a happy boy! He’s usually very shy but when we got the to drop and pick him up the staff were loving on him so much! Prices are high but actually some of the cheapest prices for boarding. The groomer gave him a bath and he came home smelling and feeling great! And her prices are by far the cheapest! We read the reviews and asked the staff about it. The girl told us they are running things so differently and hope to make up and correct what the previous staff had done. I truly believe them and will be bringing our dog back for many more visits. Go check them out for yourselves!

After reading some reviews here on Google I wasnt sure about bringing our dog here. But we checked it out anyways because they just re-opened under new management and sometime people just are not satisfied with things. We took our dog there and did a trial run with them. The staff there is so friendly and really showed interest in our dog. the facility was nice for a small business as well. We planned to boarded our dog for thanksgiving but plans changed but any daycare or boarding we need, we will be returning. Would recommend giving them a chance since re opening!

Took my dog to here for the weekend. They never told me that he was going to be the only dog, all by himself and left unsupervised all night. He escaped his cell at night and they charged me a total of $200 for the 24 hours he was there to “cover his damages” and left me scrambling to find someone to pick him up when I was out of town since they were kicking him out. There would not have been any damages if 1) they told me he was going to be all alone 2) they had adequate facilities meant for dogs 3) they supervised him. He’s a normal dog that’s been at many different boarding facilities and has never had any problem. They refused to take accountability of their poor facilities and lack of supervision.

When we picked up our dog we called 30 minutes in advance to tell them we were ready to pick up our dog. When we got there his bed was covered in feces and it was also all over his back and in his hair. They didn’t give him any of his treats or the bath we paid for. Will never take my dog back here again, the workers are very rude and don’t know how to run a business. Take your dog anywhere else but here it is horrible!

Please take your dog somewhere else!! I took my mix breed in today and boy was that a mistake!! I feel l Ike a horrible pet parent! The owner didn’t wear a mask and encouraged others to not wear one!! Then he proceeded to tell me the cages were under construction when I asked to see the kennels. Super shady. Horrible guy as an owner. I’ll definitely not be back!!

I called the Dog House 2 months in advance when we were supposed to go out of town. My dog went in for a trial and they had an awesome girl working there and assisting me with getting Goose set up. Goose had her trial, and they said everything went great. There were 3 guys at the front desk and I asked, " are we all set for the weekend I'm out of town?" They all said yes. I asked "is there any other information I need to bring her for her?" They said no. We called the day before we were supposed to leave to confirm everything since it had been about 2 and 1/2 weeks. They had nothing in their system that she was scheduled to come in and they didn't have any of her vet information that was scanned over AND physically brought into them. The guy said, "we'll we have had alot of people quit and that is why there are these mistakes". This is your business and this is how you respond while I'm anxiously trying to figure out if you can board my dog for the weekend, as it was our only option! Luckily, it worked out but when we went to pick her up...they lost all the paperwork that we brought in there when we dropped off! All our vet paperwork and Goose had all these weird rashes and bumps on her back legs!! It completely broke my hear to see her like that. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DISORGANIZED PLACE!!!!

Bruno has been coming here for a few month's now, he's always excited to come and tired when he leaves. Can't recommend them enough!

I’m not sure what happened at The Dog House, but their quality of daycare has gone down significantly over the past few months. I have been taking my dog there for 2 years, and my pup has been loved on and played with. There were always a dozen or more dogs at day care for mine to play with. Earlier this year the whole staff changed. Most of them were younger and loved my dog. But since this summer, the staff continued to change and the number of dogs attending daycare decreased significantly. The dog cams aren’t on any more so I can’t check in on what’s going on throughout the day. Over the past 2 weeks, there has been no one working except the owner. When I dropped my dog off and when I picked him up, no one is in day care and the dogs are alone. The owner is in his house and comes to let the dog in or go home. I worry about them being unsupervised. I know the owner is hard to work with - as they can’t keep a groomer on staff, and as of late the staff hasn’t stayed on for very long at all. Very disappointed in the changes and have taken my dog elsewhere.

I brought my dog there one time to give it a try for daycare, and she came home with terrible rashes on her underbelly. This place is not well kept. The owner is disrespectful and rude, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR DOG ELSEWHERE!

This is the best kennel in the Englewood area the owner is a great guy and truly cares about your animals

I take my (very high energy) dog here for doggy daycare while we are at work and he loves it! He is always super excited to go and comes back tired from playing all day. I really like that they have an indoor and outdoor area that the dogs are able to freely access, especially since my dog loves to be outside. I previously took my dog to a different daycare before this one, it was mainly inside playrooms, and he just didn't seem to have as much fun and definitely didn't come back as tired. The outdoor area is a good size, large enough for the dogs to be able to run around and play. I also absolutely love that they have a few (great picture quality) webcams throughout the place so that you are able to check in on your dog throughout the day. The staff has been friendly and always knows my dogs name when I come to drop him off and pick him up (which in my opinion, shows that they really care and enjoy being around the dogs). I would definitely recommend this place!

Horrible experience seemed welcoming until I found out my dog was being fed raw pork. I immediately disputed my membership the owner is extremely rude about things never again.

Staff prioritizes your pup #1

Oliver has been going to The Dog House for three years now, since he was a baby. He loves it there and really burns energy. The staff know him (and his temperamental ways) and do everything they can to work with him and me. They send me pictures of him on occasion while he is enjoying himself, and let me know when he's a had a good day, or a bad day. He can be a little finnicky around certain people, and they always share his progress when he finally makes a new human friend! I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. It's his home away from home.

I've been taking my dog there for years, love them.

I saw my dog being sprayed as a punishment. I am very very angry and will not be bringing him back. I recommend you do not bring your dog here. He was skittish and now shows a fear of water he did not have before.

So my little fur baby Blue started going to the dog house last friday for Day Care can i say i went to drop him off today and he was so eager to get off the car. The first day we took him he was a little nervous and scared but when i went to pick him up he did not want to leave i had to drag him out of there. He was so happy to get to play and run around since we live in an apartment in Denver he doesn't get to do that. He loves going to the dog house it's his favorite place & if he loves it then I love it.

I’ve taken my dog to daycare and it is ok...he has a lot of fun, especially in the little swimming pool. I only take him on nice days because in the winter, the inside area is not big enough for all of the dogs and does not keep them warm. They are understaffed so there aren’t enough people watching the dogs, which leads to being unable to prevent dog fights. He’s been bitten in the face once here, which I didn’t receive a call about and only found out when I picked him up. I would NEVER ever board my dog here, though. The back kennel area is unsafe for dogs and they are left alone locked up for 12 hours. I know this because I worked here for about a year while in school. The few extra dollars to go somewhere else is definitely worth it. I used to know the staff so I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care, but everyone I knew and trusted is now gone because the horrible owner has driven them out. Don’t support this man’s business, he’s never cared about your dogs, only your money.

good environment and plenty of people on the job. This place draws the right people in, good energies and well taken care of dogs. All of the staff and o wobp was our first part shows everyone love. It is safe and a playful place to be for your loving pets. I suggest this doggy daycare I love it.

My pup loved this place. He was bitten while in their care. I was frustrated at the cost to repair his face(376). When I came to pick him up they lost the paperwork on his medications, and the E-collar the vet gave him! As much as they claimed to love my dog, they sure didn’t manage his care well

This is my go-to place for doggy daycare and boarding. The staff is great. I feel confident in the way my dog is taken care of, and he seems to really like it there. They have several webcams set up if you get curious about how your pooch is doing while they are at the Dog House.

I take my dog here for daycare every once in a while, and am very happy with the Dog House! I love that she gets to run and play all day long and doesn't have to take turns to go into the yard. She comes home completely exhausted every time I take her. Also I like that you can check in on your pup on the webcams. Would definitely recommend!
