Urban Sophisticats Littleton, Colorado

I've taken my Siberian here three times so far. The first time she was way behind on care due to COVID and was very matted; I felt horrible but the staff were very kind. The groomers are great with her. (Cat fights to be put in a carrier, but is apparently cooperative with bathing & grooming.) She looks & smells great when done & the prices are reasonable. They also gave her a little blanket for her carrier on the 1st visit. I am glad they have expanded their hours. Would definitely recommend.

Great place love the staff they did a great job. My cats were scared at first. The staff help calm them down and they were nice, clean, and calm. We will be going back regularly.

Makenna did an excellent job with our long-haired tortie. I was shocked how happy our cat was too, as she can sometimes be a bratty princess. I can tell she feels her best. The mats are gone, she smells great and is beyond soft. Makenna explained how she would be groomed and what could be required. The price was fair and below what I thought that I would be paying based on her matted stomach. She looks beautiful! Leave a message and you'll hear back when they're working. Be patient they're scheduled a month or so in advance. What a great company!

I have called 3 times, and no answer. Very unprofessional. I’m sure their response will be “we are booked up for the next 3 weeks” or something like that, but that’s not necessarily a solid excuse to not answer the phone. Always call a potential customer back.

Best groomer I have taken my kitty to hands down. She has been so happy since her cut and groom. Her fur is super soft and the cut looks great. Friendly staff and cute store as well!

Rachel and her staff are wonderful! I've been bringing my kitty BB, here for over a year now and she always looks amazing when they groom her. I appreciate the fact that they take their time. Not only does it show in their work, but it eases my mind about BB's experience there. She is given breaks when being groomed so as not to overly stress her. I highly recommend Urban Sophisticats for your kittys grooming needs!

They take good care of Bijou. I have gone to other groomers in the past and they shave her so close she is like a tennis ball. It's too short and for 2 weeks she is cold and twitchy. They do a cut called a bear cut. It's great. I have always thought that bathing a cat is ridiculous. For that cut, a bath is required. It is such a good cut. A lot more fur than that tennis ball cut. She feels so good afterward and is comfortable. The place is really cute. They take a lot of pride in their business.

I have 2 Maine Coons, and their coats are very long, tons of shedding, and susceptible to knots. Urban returned them looking AMAZING! They were able to clear the knots, did a beautiful grooming job overall, and even a month after their visit, they still look like they just came home. Magical place!

My Rolo just had his 1st appointment and although he is a little challenging, because he gets stressed out and whines They did an amazing job reassuring both of us. Thank you!

We've stopped taking our cat here due to their scheduling issues. Each time we brought him here he sat in his carrier for nearly two hours because they tend to overbook and get behind. They do a really nice job, though. But, in my opinion, they don't care as much about the cats as they should, otherwise they wouldn't overbook and leave them all waiting in their carriers. I would suggest another groomer.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I am amazed at how soft my long haired Siberian's coat is. She also had some matts from a surgery that are completely gone. Every part of this experience was positive! The staff talked me through their process and showed me how they keep cats calm during the process. They really knew how to put me at ease and the results are fabulous!

Love this place! They do so well with my cat and they are just an amazing bunch of people. Super friendly and always do an amazing job.

Truly an amazing place for your cat. I was not only impressed with the care and handling of my 19 yr old senior cat but the sincerity the staff/owner have for the work they do. I will be returning with my cat in the future and also recommending Urban Sophisticats to all I know.

I took my cat to Urban Sophisticats for the first time and am really pleased! Her fur is so soft and shiny, they must have brushed out a ton of hair! It's hard to find cat groomers and I would definitely recommend this group. The salon is really cute in old town Littleton, the staff very friendly and they obviously know what they're doing.

Very impressed. This was my first time at the salon, and first time getting my cat groomed since adopting him two years ago. The online scheduling was very convenient. My cat is too strong for me to put him in a carrier but they were very accommodating and took him right back so that he didn't have to be on his leash in the waiting room too long. The process took several hours, but they prepared me in advance so it made for a nice afternoon in downtown littleton. There is a great lunch spot and multiple coffee shops within walking distance. They gave me a low to high quote which I appreciated. My cat came out looking and smelling wonderful. I could tell right away that he was so much more comfortable and he was very calm on the drive home - he's typically very vocal. I'm looking forward to continuing my routine maintenance grooming so that we can stay proactive. Thank you for the great care and communication!

Got recommended this place after my other groomer couldn't take my cat anymore. I love this place. All of the groomers are very friendly and good with my elderly cat.

Best Cat Groomers in the state hands down.

My family took in a very neglected old cat and Urban Sophisticats were absolutely wonderful to work with. Ms. Kitty had horrible mattes all over her body with feces caked into the hair on her back legs. When I took her into the vet, they had attempted to remove some of her mattes but they were unsuccessful and recommended that she would have to be sedated to fully get her fully groomed. I am so thankful to have found this place! Not only were they willing to squeeze us in immediately but they did an absolutely wonderful job removing all of her mattes (without sedation). They trimmed off all of her mattes, gave her a much needed bath, trimmed her nails, and successfully gave her an overall sense of dignity again.

Shain is so good with cats! He took such great care of my old barn cat, never looked or smelled better! We may have a house cat now!!!

Always extremely pleasant and super quick when we get our cat's nails trimmed. It's practically a blur and she's back in the crate, ready to go. Totally worth it.
