Creekside Animal Hospital Elizabeth, Colorado

I can not say enough great things about CAH. They are the best vets in douglas county. So thankful I came to them for a second opinion it saved me thousands and my cat is way happier than she would have been.

Being new to town, I was looking for a new vet. People in the neighbor hood recommended Creekside. I called and the person who answered the phone was just plain rude and obnoxious throughout the entire phone call. I asked to make an appointment with the vet that was recommended to me (Dr. Grimes) and this person said "He is the owner can't you see another vet?" (along with sighs, mouth snaps and ughs). Seriously? So what if he is the owner? He was the vet that was recommended to me. Nope, not the place for me or my precious pets. I am sure he is good vet, but that woman who answers the phone needs some customer service lessons. The thought of having to deal with her every time I needed an appointment was definitely a turn off.

Me, my 5 year old daughter, and out dog pulled up right as the Veterinarian was walking out the front door. I asked him if they were closed and he asked what my issue was. I told him my dog is limping on two legs, one in front and one in back...but opposite sides (weird). He told me to just leave my truck there and to come on in and he'll take a look. He went over my dog thoroughly and had me fill out some paperwork. My daughter is special needs and can be a little intrusive because of her sensory issues. She touches peoples hair or face sometimes, or hugs their leg or just gets really close to people. I had to remind her a couple times that we keep our hands and body to ourselves, and to make sure we're respecting everyone's personal space. He told me that she was okay, and he joked with her a little. I told him that we have yet to see an animal that she doesn't love. We always joke that she's gonna be a vet when she grows up because she is so fascinated by them. The zoo is almost sensory overload for her because she wants to see them all at once and pet them and feed them, etc... Anyways, the doctor went over everything in detail regarding what he thinks could be wrong with my dog. He informed me of the possibilities, the treatments, and what he recommends going forward. He advised me on things to look for if it gets worse, and prescribed two seperate medications. He told me he would follow up with me on Monday to see how my dog is doing and to come up with a plan on how to treat him. When I left he told me I was doing a good job with my daughter, and also with my dog. I thought he was great and really personable. He smiled at and was letting my daughter help him, and when he was talking, he didn't just talk to me, he talked to her as well and I think that is very important, especially for my daughter. This was December 23rd (day before Christmas Eve) around 4:30pm. I will tell any/everyone that asks me about a vet, or where I take my animals, about Creekside. Thank you...you have a new longtime customer.

The doctor was very thorough in her examination of our new puppy. It was the first time we have been here but we were quite pleased. They let us know about preventative measures that we can take in the future with our puppy

First time visit and they were great! The vet sat on the floor with my pup to give the shot as he was nervous. They spent time answering questions as well. We will be back for future needed appointments.

A great vet in elizabeth. Friendly staff and several doctors so you can always get it. For large or small dogs. We take our chihuahuas and border collies there.

Dr grimes is an amazing vet. His two new vets are pretty snarky. Dr peters and dr Sanderson. They need to become more seasoned and realistic. They are young and Immature. Perhaps when they gain skill and compassion they will turn the corner.

Staff was very pleasant and friendly, informative and patient. We couldn't go inside because of Covid restrictions but it seemed like they took good care of our puppy;) It's a bit of a drive for us coming from Parker but it did come highly recommended

Dr. Grimes and Creekside have been our regular vet since 2005. We’ve had all five dogs in for regular care, and I am always impressed with the knowledge and genuine care from the entire staff. The clinic is 30 minutes from our home, but we’ll worth the drive. Cost of care is also significantly more reasonable than local Parker clinics. Most recently, our shihpoo had a pretty major gut issue and was hospitalized for three nights. She was in the best of care and is now home and resting comfortably. Dr. Grimes was communicative through the entire ordeal, and we are so grateful for everything!

Amazing Staff, Dr. , and Faculty . We lost our lab this past fri due to illness . The Dr. was able to get her right in, all were very compassionate and sympathetic about the whole situation. Thank you for being there for our family at this time. We will DEFINITELY be lifelong patients. I will also reccomend creekside to anyone. ❤
