They took care of us when we needed them. Cost was about or little less then expected. I was very happy with care and treatment we received

Dr. Anderson, Dr. Allen and the supporting staff have taken care of all our dogs for the last decade. In that decade we have had eight dogs under their care - our file is huge! We have had to let go of five of them...all big dogs all over 13 when it was time to say goodbye. We have had countless "well check and Vax" visits. We have also had emergency situations where our dog was hospitalized with them. They saved that dog. We've had surgeries, teeth pulled, ears worked on, growths removed, litter well-checks, you name it they've done it professionally, compassionately and masterfully. We moved out of Elbert County and still drive a distance just to stay with the Elizabeth Animal Hospital. I am eternally grateful to them.

They told me they were taking new clients via email, but when we called to make an appointment, they told us they weren't taking new clients... Um, what?

Honestly, what can I say? My cat was SUPER sick and his normal vet was booked and even though it was an emergency said "try somewhere else." So, they first squeezed me in and said it would be a wait. They had a cancellation and got me in an hour after me calling! They knew my kitty was super sick. They let me cry, and I mean CRY my eyes out multiple times and just were so compassionate. No, my cat wasn't dying but he did need a procedure and be admitted for a few days. Honestly the techs and the vet and the staff up front, were just so, so amazing. My heart is aching at my Othello being gone for a weekend but they were just, oh my gosh. I can't even describe it so I'm rambling. I am more than likely switching my cat here so they are his permanent vet. I have never felt more compassion for a sick animal than I did today.

My entire family has switched their pets over to EAH due to their amazing care. It doesn't matter which doctor is in, they all treat our animals like their own. If your fur-babies mean as much to you as they do to us - come to EAH

All of the doctors and staff at EAH are amazing and wonderful! They are so compassionate, caring, and efficient. My kitty suddenly passed away and they were very helpful and caring during the ordeal. Other veterinary practices in the area were too busy to help me, but not EAH. They truly care about animals and their owners at this clinic.

We had a medical emergency and they were able to work us in and provide great relief for my injured dog. Dr. Anderson treated her injury with great care and compassion. Thanks Elizabeth Animal Hospital!

I am devastated. I had to make the difficult decision to put my dog down, so I took her to EAH. I was told I could be with her through the procedure, but then after charging astronomical rates for euthanasia and communal burial ($217), they told me I could not accompany my pet at her end of life. Stating aggression. She was absolutely NOT aggressive at her appointment AND I agreed to muzzle her! They were making the decision to euthanize my dog in a muzzle, and alone. Not me. I was also not given a choice. I agreed to the muzzle, I agreed to astronomical prices, but I will NEVER agree to leaving my pet in their final moments! To take that decision from me was cruel, and you lost 6 clients over it! My Grace will get her peace with me and another medical professional. She deserves nothing less, and you had no right to try to exclude me from such an important part of my animals journey in this life! Update: Grace attacked a human last night, as was our fear. She left severe puncture wounds. This was what I was trying to prevent in taking her for euthanasia 2 days ago. Grace was euthanized compassionately in my arms last night with a vet that cared about her and me. There was no muzzle even, just compassion and empathy. Sadly, my husband now has muscle and nerve damage due to your practices refusal to let me be with my dog during her end of life. Thanks for the help!

Elizabeth Animal Hospital is an impressive establishment. I recently transferred my pets to EAH and I really can't say enough good things about them. The staff is skilled and professional yet personable and comforting when I have needed it. They carefully examine my pets, and I am fully confident that my pets are under the highest level of care when they are there. I have never felt more comfortable or trusting in a vet clinic until now. Thank you EAH staff for taking care of my fur-babies. We appreciate all that you do!

Overpriced inconsiderate unprofessional lame practice for a veterinarian. Far better vets out there to avoid this place!

The people are really great and I have always been able to get in when I've needed to. Been going there for a few years, and I don't even live in Elizabeth anymore.

I can not say enough great things about this place. 10 stars if I could. Having recently moved to Elizabeth and buying a new pup, we were needing a new vet and decided to go here due to word of mouth. From start to finish, my two dogs, Moo and Balto received the highest level of care. From the lovely ladies at reception, to the wonderful vet tech who helped calm my 125 lb shaking Great Dane and gave loves to my ham of a puppy and answered every concern I had. We saw Dr. Allyn who shocked me by the level of love she showed my poor scared Dane, even sat on the floor and stroked her ears and told her how beautiful she was while performing her exam. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and also comforting when checking over our new puppy and a possible concern. She had pictures taken and sent over to Dr. Anderson who called me promptly when the office opened and then reassured me with any concerns I had and was a pleasure to talk to. Even if we move, I will still take my animals here. Bravo!!! Thank you for the amazing experience for not only my dogs but for me also. You can tell the whole office loves working there and also loves working with animals!

They really care about you and your pet. They were able to squeeze us in and care for my dog. Great setup for current covid restrictions.

All of the vets, technicians and front office staff at EAH are reliable, helpful, kind and compassionate. They ago above and beyond to help, and do so with really reasonable cost. We went to another vet for a while that was closer to our house, but switched back to EAH recently and we are so glad that we did.

They do a great job of taking care of the let's. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long. They also take your pet from you to do the basic exam while you wait in the waiting room. I would prefer to be there for the exam but they do a wonderful job of answering questions.

They lost our cat. Then proceeded to try and blame us. They didn't follow their own protocols and that led to us losing or cat. Be ware!

Elizabeth animal and Dr. Anderson and the staff are everything you would want in a veterinary clinic. I took my precious Libby there for her first shots and for over a decade she received the ultimate care. There was no question when we were blessed with a new little yellow lab puppy that she would be well cared for. We are so lucky to have this veterinary clinic in our community.

I have gone to this vet for years with my animals. About a year and a half ago I had to move to parker after losing my husband and have still gone because I loved this vet so much. I felt like they would always work with me to get my dog in and always had reasonable prices. My opinion highly changed when I needed to get my dog in for an urgent appointment as he has not been wanting to eat his food and has diarrhea. I called first thing in the morning because I had not gotten a call back since calling there on call answering service on Sunday morning for my dog. When I called, I explained what was going on and was told they do not have any regular appointments and that I could drop him off and the doctor would see him in between patients. 2 reasons why this will not work for me. 1) I live in parker and that would be almost 4 hours in traveling just to get my dog in, plus I am working so I cant be spending all that time on the road. 2) I want to be able to be there with my dog, he has extreme anxiety and this dog is all I have left after losing first my son and then my husband. I explained the situation and was still told that they could not get me in all week long and next Tuesday was the earliest I could get in for a dog who is not wanting to eat and has Diarrhea. I will admit, my dog was supposed to have his teeth cleaned and I spaced his appointment a couple of weeks ago, so for that I apologize but to be treated like oh well and not to work with me at all, really upsets me considering I have gone to this office for years. You have lost my business because clearly yo DO NOT care. I will be taking my dog and my new puppy elsewhere. There are plenty of other offices that would be a lot closer. So disappointed.

Dr. Anderson and the entire staff have taken care of our Dogs and Cat. They always go above and beyond. We will never use another Vet for our pets

I contacted Elizabeth Animal Hospital after our regular vet informed they could not see our very ill dog for at least two weeks. The receptionist was very kind and let me know that although all regular appointments were booked they would still be able to see my dog between patients that very same day. The staff there were professional, kind and compassionate and my dog is now feeling much better. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner and needless to say we will be switching our animals to Elizabeth Animal Hospital for their veterinary care.
