Completely poor accommodations for the dogs that stay here. Ripped up, dirty rags are what the owner considers "beds" for the dogs that board here. The "disgruntled ex employee" that the owner tries to defend herself against speaks nothing but the truth. Don't leave anything of value with your dog, there's no guarantee you'll get it back because another dog will probably destroy it or the owner will lose it. It's way overcrowded and overpriced. They'll take more dogs than the employee (singular) can handle to turn profit. And my heart is absolutely broken to see that a dog was actually so neglected that no one bothered to do anything in time and he died before being treated properly or got paid proper attention. Do NOT bring your dog here.

WAY over priced for what they offer. Very small area for many large dogs. Poor sleeping arrangements. Nice employees but wouldn't take my pup there again for that price and accommodations.

My dog had a blast at Dog Chalet. We took her several times while staying in Frisco for a month. They took great care of her and she always came home tired.

Our pup had a great time here. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 stars is because their facility is very small and they cram a lot of dogs into a small room. There is a separate room for small and large dogs but they are both rather small. The staff was very pleasant and it’s only 15 mins to keystone!

Took wonderful care of the dogs while we were on the mountain! Went the extra mile for one of our dogs that kept trying to escape. Great place, friendly people.

We have 2 dogs (Springer and Boykin Spaniel) that have spent 2 days a week with the crew at the Dog Chalet for the last 3 years. They have also been boarded their on numerous occasions. I have found everyone their responsive and caring for our dogs. Our dogs are happy and exhausted when we pick them up.

We were vacationing in Colorado and needed a place to drop our boy off for the day while we went snowboarding. Picked up a very tired but happy pup at the end of the day. Loki approves!

I have been very happy with the Dog Chalet. My dogs have always been well taken care of and they are always very excited when we take them for a stay. Very reasonably priced as well.

My dog has gone to the Dog Chalet since he was a puppy & he loves it. I trust Kelly & her staff to always make sure he’s safe and you can tell they truly care about the dogs.

I've now heard you can get a discount for posting positive reviews, wow! Does that mean for negatives you might get charged more? Who's this guy from Chicago posting best dog "part" in area when clearly he's not from the area or would know. Breckenridge dog park has bad drainage according to dept of environment, Silverthorne is newer and pretty nice if your looking for dog park. Address issues owner, not judgment on my feelings, your not that special or gifted to pass judgment on how I feel or anyone for the matter, narcissistic. True or false? 1. Kelly & I both worked alone against regulations? 2. There were broken pieces of glass that continued to fall out of a broken double pane window to yard? 3. The front door window was ready to fall out and break? 4. Kelly did nothing about Bristol or knonx? 5. I received nothing in employment records? 6. A husky got loose out front door to congested area? 7. Bedding is mostly torn rags? Few here to start, get busy now addressing but can't defend when no defense. The "sad" part is... I didn't work here for the minimal money per se, love of dogs instead. Tore my heart out seeing neglect by owner, that's my "feelings"! I do OWN outright over 10 acres outside Silverthorne and I'm not a young kid with no experience. Update: Recent posting employment 11/06/2020 &12/03/2020. Would you trust your loved one to a place that doesn't have staff? Many in summit need jobs, here's a business that can't get employee's, got to tell you something isn't right with the dog chalet dillon. There goes the owner getting friends to post positive even tho truth is out there, she's done this in past. Damage control? Kishi? Really and one review. Mark Cline review; Mark it was Bristol or knox who had bloody stools the week of boarding which I collected samples, advised Kelly to no concern of hers other then lets wait it out till owners return, even slept with the 2 of them all night concerned myself. Heard it was minor or nerves away from home but do to Kelly's resent lies im wondering if she even informed you your pet went thru a very stressed & sick week! Jessamyn Myers review; 3 weeks ago this review shows posted, Seems odd there was no way you went snowboarding 3 weeks ago. Old review reposted for damage control. Bottomline; The Dog Chalet could be under investigation by the state Department of agriculture for multiple violations under the pet care provider division. Second the owner could be facing a wrongful termination lawsuit regarding civil rights violations of discrimination and retaliatory actions. I had to call the dog chalet for their legal mailing address and when the person answered only stated "the dog chalet" no name. Every business I call the people state their names since its professional in knowing who your speaking with. Employee had to call the phone back because there was no mailing address on file and had to contact "boss". Unprofessional and that from the owner to teenage employee's. So here we go in limited amount. 1. I'm former employee Steven, know this business well, owners neglect. 2. A dog died "minnow" previous to my employment from being bite my another dog & infection. 3. A husky got loose out front door by neglect of owner. 4.Owner worked 30 dogs against department of agriculture regulations during dec 2019, I myself worked spring alone with 30 dogs against regulations 5. Had boarding dogs, one was sick bloody stool, vomit. Addressed to owner with no care or concern saying "let's wait it out till owner picks up". This was week plus boarding dogs! 6. The facility is/was in neglect with broken windows or about to break. 7. Advertised bedding provided for overnight dogs, is a torn bath towel considered bedding? The local animal shelter does better with raised cots. Owner lies again. This is not the place for your furry friend.

We have used the Dog Chalet at least four times while staying in Summit County. They have taken great care of our cocker spaniel. We would highly recommend them.

This place is a disaster, insanely unprofessional. The manager is negligent and doesn’t know how to take care of animals. The great Minnow Meek stayed there, and was abused by other animals. The dog chalet owner did nothing about it, …

We love copper mountain that we booked 3 days in 2018 and Diesel had a great time at the dog chalet that we came again this year! Diesel will definitely enjoy daycare again this time!

My dog is dead because I entrusted these people with her care. I am a competitive snowboarder and I had to go out of town for a contest. I brought my dog to the Dog Chalet because I wanted the best care possible for her. I wanted her to be safe when I was gone. My dog was attacked by another dog under their "care". Apparently nobody was aware that my dog was attacked until several days had passed and her bite was severely infected. By then it was too late. The infection was in her bloodstream and she died. My dog's attack went un noticed for several days. That is negligence and now she is gone because of this place and their lack of care. The owner also refused to help at all with the vet bills I racked up trying to save her life. My dog was an active service animal of two years, adopted from Costa Rica, and my very best friend. I don't want anyone else to ever have to go through this. Don't entrust the Dog Chalet with your pets care.

This place is complete negligent. They are un-able to keep an eye on your pet and seem uneffected if something happens and will not take responsibility. This place is the reason my girlfriends service animal is dead. Please find somewhere else to save your pet.

Our dog always wags his tail when we are pulling in - and he’s exhausted when we pick him up! Small facility compared to some other doggy daycares but my dog doesn’t seem to mind. Thanks Dog Chalet!

Kelly was awesome! We needed a (very) last minute reservation for our energetic puppy and they took him in, even after they were closing, for our weekend in the mountains. Tucker had a great time, and slept for two straight days when we got home. We will definitely be bringing him back to the Dog Chalet next time we vacation up there!

Very disappointed as this is really the only dog daycare in the area. We left our husky there and he managed to get out. Thankfully the staff member working there was able to catch him, which I am extremely grateful for. However, it is ridiculous that my dog was able to push a door open to get outside. Yes, he did jump two 3 ft gates, but the door to the building should be closed at all times. He should not have been able to simply push it open. Either get a door that closes shut on its own, or tell everyone entering and leaving that they must firmly shut the door behind them. Finally, there is only one person watching all those dogs and working the front desk. It seems there should be one more person there to help out.

I take my Bernese here every time I go out of town. Kelly is amazing and he always has the best time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. She is very attentive and cares about each of the dogs in her facility.
