My dog has a pending heart condition, thought she may have been having an issue or was getting sick when we were passing though. I called Apline to see if they could check her out before we left town, they were able to see her that day and were absolutely wonderful. The office is smaller than what were use to back home, but it was super nice and made things much easier for my nervous-nelly. I even called the office a few days later with some other questions and they were more than happy to help. Would highly reccomend. Thank you so much, Alpine Vet. Practice!

My cat got out of my car, and the vet assistant ran to the parking lot to get him. They are the best veterinary in Summit county. Supper affordable!!! Gave me discount for being a veteran, and I'm also in a wheelchair. They are angel's on earth for our pets.

Don't plan on this vet being available. EVER. They take off of work more than they show up and when you have an emergency there is no one to help you because you are not their regular patient. Does anyone care about the animals they have as patients? I have to drive to Denver for a bleeding nail... I couldn't be more disappointed by choosing this vet as my point of contact in Summit County.

Dr. Michelle is so kind to work with and my pups love her and the atmosphere she creates at her practice.

Was very responsive with my dog needs. Unfortunately not good news but she (doctor) will guide me. Wish us luck

Really kind staff that seem to genuinely care. We will definitely be trusting them with our fur baby again. Very reasonable prices as well!

Dr. Gross is the best we've been to in 20 years of pet companionship. She's thorough, pragmatic, down-to-earth and great to work with. So happy to have our dogs and cat in her care.

Dr. Gross and staff are so kind and caring! They take the time to explain what changes in your pet are considered normal, what might be of concern, as well as what the options for care. I was truly impressed with their follow up for our older Golden after a recent health scare. I highly recommend Alpine Vet!

Michelle and her team are the best! Michelle really cares about your pet and what is best for your pet - and she is very reasonably priced. We have been going to Michelle and Alpine vet for 30 years (Michelle has been there for over 10 years), and I would not go anywhere else!

Buck got neutered today ???? but he had great care from Dr. Gross. I brought my new foster dog for a two-month stay in Dillon. He had not been neutered yet and I thought it would be a simple thing to get it done here rather than in our own home state. Not so! I expected mountain prices to be higher but I was shocked when a vet in Frisco quoted $1,002 to neuter a 50lb dog. Another vet in Silverthorne quoted close to $700. I was about to drive him to Denver when my boyfriend ran into a nice couple at the feed store who suggested Alpine Veterinary practice and Dr. Michelle Gross in Dillon. She did the surgery and put in a microchip for about the same as we would have paid back home. Very happy... Highly recommend! The patient is resting comfortably lol.

While vacationing in Colorado, our dog developed an ear infection that went from bad to worse overnight. Fearing we could not wait until we returned home to see our local vet, we scrambled to find a vet within driving distance who could see our dog. Alpine Veterinary worked with us to have our dog, a new appointment, brought in the same day we called. Upon arrival, Andrew was professional and easy to work with. After gathering our information, Dr. Gross met us to talk about what we were seeing with our dog. A timely review, and Dr. Gross returned with the diagnosis. She took the time to show us how to administer the medication and took our questions. Needless to say, Dr. Gross, Andrew and the rest of the Alpine Veterinary Practice turned a stressful situation into a very manageable one.

Dr. Michelle is the BEST!! She provides such great and personalized care. You can tell she cares deeply about all the animals she sees! I wish all vets were like her! Thank you for everything!

Being a microbiologist, biologist Msc in Behaviour, and vet tech, I tend to find flaws in veterinary clinics, but this one was pretty awesome. The doctor was pretty knowledgeable, she gave me tons of very useful info (doesnt happen often with me), she was very comfortable handling my not so friendly cat, and although I could see she was tired, she had a great attitude as well and made sure she answered all my questions. I loved the fact that they have a mini lab at the clinic so she could take a look at a sample from my cat and spotted the problem right away, whereas other clinics send the samples somewhere else, it takes 24 hours to get the results, they dont make a full report and end up charging you more. Front lady and vet were both amazing, and they even called a couple of days after our visit to check on my cat. I absolutely loved this place and the price was good too.

First time at this place and so far it's great. Friendly staff, followed up with me after my appointment, and the doctor was very informative and friendly.

Visited a year ago to spay my Shiba girl Yuki and the office has a little room for recovery that has a bed. I loved that about this location. Other offices feel cold and sterile. The staff are very kind and they work with the individual pet as if they are close family. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Yuki thanks you too.

These people are amazing! They helped me handle an emergency with my dog when he wasn’t doing so hot and made it convenient for me by letting him stay with them all day while dad worked and stayed a bit longer after closing to give me time to pick him up. He’s so much better and you can tell they love him and take pride in their work. Recently took him here for his vaccines as well and was in and out in a jiffy! 10/10 would recommend!

I've had good experiences every time I've been here. They are very caring and knowledgeable. They treat my dog with caring and compassion as if he were their own. My friend had to have her dog put to sleep quickly one evening. They got her in immediately and were invaluable in giving her support during that tough time. I HIGHLY recommend them.
