Went in with my golden retriever after thinking he ate a sock. They were able to quickly fit us in the same day and quickly did X-rays. Everyone was very kind. But the cost for the exam and stat X-rays were over $500. The radiologist said …

I love this place, the staff is super nice, the attention and the persons that work there are helpful and in a good mood, and they have an app where you can track all your pets records, make new appointments and even talk with a vet 24/7.

We had Dr. Melberg for our visit today and he exceeded our expectations. We originally expected to pay hundreds of dollars to service our cat, but Dr. Melberg walked us through our options and offered a cost-effective solution while keeping our cat's health at the forefront. He was kind, thoughtful, and put in time the night before our appointment to review our cat's records to give us the best treatment recommendations. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with VCA Firehouse Animal Hospital that's why I will take my little fur baby Tinker to them always if I can.

We recently moved to the area and came to VCA Firehouse for our two cats. One of our cats came to need urgent surgery and the staff was so incredibly compassionate, talented, and caring for him! They sent us pictures of him in recovery and even played his favorite movie on an iPad! I have gone to several vets over the years and have never met a more competent and kind team! Thank you!!

Staff goes above and beyond. They provide great service and can tell they have so much love for the animals and their job.

I was not impressed with the quality of the vet technicians. Whatever happened with my small dog’s puppy vaccinations behind the closed doors of COVID policies, made him deathly afraid of going to the vet there. Additionally, this place isn’t really an animal hospital according to the level services and long term care that it can provide.

Love the care we get from them for both our dogs!

We’ve had two rather unpleasant experiences with our dog at this office. I’m not at all impressed.

Service is fine but they will Nickel and dime you when you walk through the door. Undisclosed charges for follow up vaccine shots that you already paid a premium on the first dose, and then it’s a vet tech putting in two shots in the lobby. What a joke. These people are thieves.

Be very careful about pet teeth cleanings and anesthesia, here and anywhere else. Our beloved cat Marlowe broke her jaw during a routine teeth cleaning at VCA Firehouse. She died unexpectedly a couple of weeks later under anesthesia at another VCA facility during minor surgery on her face sutures. This happened a few months ago now, but my wife and I still can't even talk to each other about her final weeks. It's unimaginably painful to think about the suffering and fear that she must’ve experienced. Various middle managers at VCA assure us that this was basically the result of two freak accidents—an unusual tooth configuration that weakened her jaw when the tooth was removed, and probably an undiagnosed heart murmur that caused her to die under anesthesia. If it was freak accidents, that might be more worrying than human negligence. Some routine veterinary operations are not as safe as they might seem. VCA has promised us that they will begin collecting data on adverse events across the conglomerate and make improvements to cat handling during tooth operations. We hope they are being sincere and that what happened to Marlowe will improve care for pets at all of VCA's 800+ facilities.

Truly the best vet service's and team I could ask for when taking care of my dog. VCA Firehouse has always been so kind, flexible, they never over price for care/meds and walk through everything with you, give great recommendations, etc. From the front office, the vet techs, and Dr.'s I am always so happy with the service and care that they provide and the follow up just to check in on my dog Moose after a visit. Thank you for all that you do! :)

Good service. I recommend. One thing, they are the last to still do the masks and wait outside nonsense. They really should be ashamed of themselves for fomenting fear when all the scientific literature says none of this worked - this is after case counts are basically zero and everyone has been vaxxed. It is irresponsible and makes you wonder about their credentials... fomenting unnecessary fear is shameful esp when health professionals do it.

We recently moved and hadn’t found a vet yet, but our puppy began having symptoms that concerned us. I called and spoke with Rebecca- she was incredibly kind, helpful, and answered any questions I had. She aided me in figuring out if I needed to bring Meatball in as well as suggested how to monitor the symptoms and alleviate them. I truly appreciated all the support I received from this business and absolutely plan on bringing Meatball in for any of his needs. Thank you Rebecca!! ❤️

I am so impressed by this clinic. They are so professional and so helpful. They take their time to explain everything that is necessary and they absolutely love my dog. My last vet in Miami was terrible, so it's such a relief to find a vet that I can trust and feel comfortable taking my dog to.

I have been taking my fur-baby feline Moose there for almost 8 years and they are THE BEST!! They always take SUCH good care of my boy! And I love the attention to detail that they provide like little Birthday emails to Moose and easy access to his records with a simple click of the mouse! The Techs and Vets are friendly and the location is always spotless! LOVE this place and wouldn't trust anyone else with my baby!

I really like Dr Adams. I've had good experiences here over the 5 or so years I've been brining my old kitty.

No test results, had to call in myself (after a week) and was told the vet left a voicemail which is categorically false. Tech who answered couldn’t confirm number that was called, but considering you have to wait in your car due to covid and they call you multiple times without issue during that process, you’d think it wouldn’t be hard to get the number right. No follow up email with exam notes or findings. No referrals to surgeons as promised. Nothing. Just repeated efforts to get us to pay hundreds of dollars more for X-rays that were admittedly redundant and no rationale for why they should have been done if surgery was recommended and the surgeon would be doing it again anyway. They also push their wellness plan that is a VCA product although they didn’t get the opportunity to do so on this visit. I get the feeling that before VCA took over what I assume was a private practice, this was a quality animal hospital and the recommendation I received predates this. I do not think I will be coming back to firehouse or any VCA clinic.

I brought my 6 year old pupper into VCA Firehouse in a panic and chose them because of their location and availability. My dog had a pretty intense dental surgery today and had three teeth removed. On top of that, he had a yeast infection in both of his ears which they cleaned and treated. They were really good with him and with helping me through my anxiety. Dr. Cassie Todd has a very calming and sweet energy. She and the rest of the staff were transparent and consistent about prices and made sure to give me options and autonomy to make the best decisions for us. It was incredibly pricey because of the amount of work and medication needed but I will happily recommend Dr. Todd and go back for anything dental in the future. Thank you, Firehouse!

We love our Vet, she genuinely cares for our pup, calls us to follow up on procedures done at WRAH. Thank you to the staff that is always professional and polite. I truly believe this is the best animal hospital in the nation.

I have been bringing my dogs to VCA Firehouse for years. They have always been so great to both me and my dogs! Super friendly and knowledgeable. They also make sure to confirm prices with you before proceeding with procedures which is always nice. The vets here are fantastic - I highly recommend.
