Dr. Miller is simply the best! I called with a concern about my puppy’s eyes. I got quick, wonderful service. She knows me and my dogs so well. I am truly lucky that Dr. Miller is our family’s veterinarian. I won’t ever go anywhere else.

Everyone was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We felt warmly welcomed and confident about the care our puppy will receive over the next many years!

I can not be more grateful for Rising Sun. We’ve recently moved to Denver and shortly after moving, our dog got diagnosed with IBD. We stumbled upon Rising Sun after his diagnosis and I am so glad we did! We called same day because our dog was having multiple episodes of vomiting and we really wanted to try and keep him out of the ER due to high costs. Rising Sun moved things around and made sure they saw him and helped him feel better. We could not be more appreciative of this practice and their level of care for my dog. Thank you!

They have cared for my 3 cats for years and we feel part of the family. They are always responsive and call to check on my pets and send birthday greetings. More responsive than my own drs.

THIS PLACE WILL DRAIN YOUR WALLET!! Took our little kitty to this place only to be disappointed. We had a spay set up a few weeks back and had to get some shots for her before she underwent anesthesia. During this visit the doctor came out to discuss with us our cats teeth and suggested dental work. Not only was dental work suggested, but the doctor was saying that her two front top or bottom teeth had to be pulled because of an overbite. It was going to cost us $500/tooth with up to 4 teeth being pulled. The doctor showed little emotion when telling us this news which I found odd. We told her we would get back to her and left. When I got home I got to discussing this with a friend. They, too, went to Rising Sun and were recommended hip surgery for their dog and were told it had a year to live. This was well over a year ago. We then decided to go get a second opinion from another vet because of the hefty $2,000+ price the doctor was giving us. This new vet (All Cat Clinic) told us all but one of our kitten's adult teeth were already in her mouth! Not only that but he (the doctor) said the last baby tooth was so loose he was able to pull it out without causing her any pain. He said she has a "little" overbite that we should monitor through her life--but left it at that. What happened to my kitten's horribly constructed mouth in one week? Rising Sun criticized the breeder I bought from saying they had a breeding issue. The real issue is this business. (new vet's spay was also $325 cheaper) --WIN!! UPDATE! She has responded disgustingly to many different reviews on here, but why not mine? My Cat is still doing fine, no teeth problems and I don’t have Rising Sun to thank for it. YOU GUYS ARE LIARS

Wonderfully attentive and communicative to my pups first visit. The entire staff was so welcoming upon arrival arrival. They made sure I understood everything they were saying and provided recommendations when requested.

Dr. Miller has been our 16 year old Westies vet for over 5 years and we recommend Rising Sun to anyone with a beloved pet. She and her team are professional, transparent and direct when it comes to caring for Parker. At the beginning of the year Parker was having kidney problems and with tests it was determined that a change in diet would make the difference and it did. Rising Sun has excellent communication, the NICEST front office team and the best vet techs we have experienced.

An absolutely wonderful vet! Always a pleasure to talk to and see anyone working in the office. I recently had an issue where my puppy needed medication while we were on vacation in New York and the team at Rising Sun was incredibly helpful in making sure he was able to get it from a vet in NY. The staff recognizes you and your pet every-time you walk through the door or call. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

I only trust Dr. Miller and her staff with my precious Sophia. I live over an hour away and will gladly make the drive to their office.

All the staff as well as the Dr's are awesome. Very respectful and courteous and very caring. No matter what the issue is with regards to any animal, they pay attention and ask/answer questions. I have never felt rushed or hurried. And the humane treatment of my animal's passing. I cannot say enough good things about everyone there!! Best veterinarian practice to take huskies too!!

Extreme veterinary competence and covid responsibility

Vet and vet tech were wonderful with my anxiety ridden dog. The only issue was a rather rude person who responded with "I'm not google" when I had trouble locating the building using google.

I am SO impressed with Rising Sun! My sweet 10 year old girl, Aspen, had been having diarrhea for 4 days and my regular vet was booked. I called Rising Sun to try to get her in anywhere to be seen and they were booked too but the receptionist asked what was wrong and said she would ask the docs to see if they could squeeze her in. With a full schedule they managed to get in my girl. Dr. Park saw her and did a more thorough exam, without me asking her to, than my regular vet when I took my pup in for an annual exam. She took the time to explain her findings and prescribed Aspen some medication that fixed her GI issues almost immediately. She also had some helpful recommendations for meds/supplements to keep Aspen in tip top shape - not to mention, the visit was cheaper than I thought it would be! Woohooo I wish I knew the receptionist and the vet tech’s names because they were both sooo wonderful as well. Safe to say, I have found a new ‘regular’ vet.

I like that you care as of they are your own and that you are open to treat ailments naturally first if possible.

These ladies are definitely animal lovers! From scheduling my first appointment to interacting with the vet herself, wowza I am impressed. I know my cats are in excellent hands! The staff care for their patients as if they are their own and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Every time I call them, they have been so kind and every time I’m about to hang up, they always tell me to give my dog lots of snuggles from them. I was able to go into the office, with a mask, and everyone was so nice. They were patient and understanding that my dog had no desire to be there. I’m glad I’ve found this place

I have been taking my 2 dogs and 1 cat here for almost 4 years. They remind me when everyone is due for shots and annual exams and they are always on top of everything and so professional! The vets take the time to explain things to me and are very knowledgeable. They referred me to a great specialist for one of my dogs. Plus the place is always so clean and inviting! Love everyone there! And so do my dogs which is crazy….one of them has a history of biting vets and vet techs but that has never been an issue here. They really care about my pets and always give me a range of options!

One of the few vets I trust completely with my pets. Dr. Miller is so kind and knowledgeable and everyone that works there has a great attitude and goes above and beyond.

I took my new kitten here for the first time and was very happy with how kind and professional all the staff members were. They really seemed to care about my pet and gave my kitten lots of love and attention. Making an appointment was also extremely easy as they pick up the phone quickly and they were able to quote me prices for the next two appointments my kitten will need. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I didn’t feel like I was getting charged for anything I didn’t need. Will be taking all of our pets to Rising Sun.

We took our elderly dog to Rising Sun Animal Care to be put down, the staff and the doctor couldn't have handled it better. The kindness, professionalism, empathy they showed me and our sweet Maggie made an extremely difficult time so much easier. It had been such a difficult week and decision and thank goodness Rising Sun Animal Care was there for us and Maggie.

I was so thankful for the compassion and kindness of the entire Team at Rising Sun when I was struggling as to whether to put down my girl, Stieglitz, who was 14 years old. I spoke with multiple individuals to come to the conclusion that I did, and all of them were so kind, providing opinions, options, and thoughts, none of whom tried to sway me in any way other than what I thought was best for my pet and me. When it came time to put her down, Dr. Nicole was amazing. The whole Team was amazing. They scheduled us, knowing that it needed to be both urgent and flexible at the same time due to the emotions around such a decision. They let me come into the facility (during Covid restrictions) so that I could be with her. They let us have as much time as we needed together in that room, before and after the euthenasia...and most importantly, every person on Staff knew why we were there and all were so gentle and kind. Even those who didn't speak to us directly held our gaze with such understanding of our pain. It made the entire process so much more respectful to what this animal was to me in my life. I am ever, ever grateful.

Very helpful and had lots of information on the best things we can do to take care of and help our new adopted husky. They seem to really care for the animals that come in, and take the the time to really talk to you about your pets and what's best for their health and happiness.
