Playful Pooch Dog Daycare & Boarding Denver, Colorado

They care more about their pocket then the pooch.

My dog Jasper has been going to Playful Pooch daycare twice a week for about 4 months now. He loves going to daycare, and I know he is being cared for when he is at daycare. I know we're not the only ones that love this daycare, since they are booked out about a week or two. We just have a standing appointment, but if you need to send your dog to daycare/boarding here, I would plan in advance.

I’ve been calling during office hours, emails them…. Still no response. It seems they’re too busy to care for new clients.

My rambunctious yellow lab, Cowgirl, has been coming to Playful Pooch weekly for the past year. She loves it so much she leaps from the car and sprints to the back without even looking back to say goodbye. I love that she comes home and is well exercised and tired. When it comes to the staff everyone we have interacted with has been professional and helpful. They genuinely care about Cowgirl and I appreciate that they have taken the time to get to know her personality and alert us if she seems off. Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone at Playful Pooch! We are so sad to be moving out of the area and hope to find something similar (but know that this will be hard to replicate)

Playful Pooch is hands down the best daycare and boarding facility I’ve taken my dog to in the Denver area. First, they always greet by dog by his name and make sure to review his needs with me (food, medication, etc.) before taking him back. My dog is very fearful and, at other boarding facilities we had taken him to, he would start shaking when we pulled up, refused to go in, and tried to run back to the car. At Playful Pooch, he walks in happily with his tail wagging and doesn’t even look back at me. The facility has cameras you can access to check in on your dog during business hours. And (my favorite part) they post adorable pictures of your dog on Instagram. Could not recommend this place enough!

I have taken my lab, Annie, to the Playful Pooch for the past two years. Since she started there, we have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Annie is always so excited to get in the car on her daycare days and comes home happy and tired at the end. The staff at the Playful Pooch are extremely caring, attentive, and responsive. They get to know both the dogs and the owners and can always let you know how your dog did that day. I highly recommend the Playful Pooch to anyone who is looking for a doggie daycare they can trust!

Very caring people! They have earned our repeat service. The reason is, we were first time customers. We boarded our 2 dogs for a week. One of our dogs developed an eye irritation. Although not very serious, they called us to discuss managing the situation. After we picked up our dogs, they followed up with another call a week later to see how our dog was managing.

I'm so sad to be moving as we have trust Playful Pooch with our Puppy Madison since she was 13 weeks old! All staff is extremely friendly, accommodating to schedule changes, and takes wonderful care of the dogs. Thanks for a wonderful year of doggie day care!! Madison says thank you also!

The workers always take great care of our dogs whenever we go on trips. Our two puppies seem to enjoy being there as well, seeing as our boy doesn't even act super excited to be picked up. Great attention to detail and clear love for animals. Perfect place to send your pet.

I recently brought my puppy here for his first time at daycare. He was nervous at first but by the end of the week he was so excited to go and play all day. He came home exhausted in the best way, & everyone I spoke to was so clearly a dog lover.

My dog loves to go there. Actually because he loves it so much we go there two to three times a week so he can play and have a great time. The people who work there and run the facility are great. They love dogs and so good to them. As you know animals are great character witnesses, they know what people are really doing and thinking. Every dog who comes to playful Pooch love‘s to come there. My pup has a great time and I & my pup are totally satisfied. I highly recommend Playfull Puch Dogie Daycare to anyone who loves their dog and who wants their 4 legged baby to have a great time in a safe place.

This place is wonderful! They are extreamly caring people, they know my dog by name, her style and how to approach her needs. I have a big dog that can be finicky and they know exactly how to work with her temperament. They have package deals for discounted return visits. They book up, so call ahead. My pup perks up when I tell her she's going to school, and is asleep by the third intersection on the way home from playing so hard. Highly reccomend.

Staff are amazing! Ended up doing a trial daycare day, but didn't board as our trip was cancelled. Dogs both loved the place and came home very worn out and happy!

I have never taken my pups here, so this review is very limited. However, I have been outside of here many times, at nearby establishments. All you hear are a million dogs barking loudly - constantly. I would not leave my dogs in a place …

I started taking my two puppy labs here when they were five months old. They are some CRAZY hyper pups who love to jump and are very mouthy players. I was so nervous we were going to get kicked out as they have knicked staff shirts, jumped on other parents and are very relentless with their mouthing playing style. But the opposite happened. Playful Pooch has been so positive with us and open to the craziness my labs bring to their care. My pups now (8 months old) LOVE going to daycare, so much so that if I even say the word daycare they start doing laps with excitement. The other day I heard a staff member say "The pups are getting better at jumping" as I dropped them off and I felt such a relief. My pups are knocked out for hours after daycare and it has proven to be the best way for them to burn energy. They are much better trained at home now and with other dogs. I love taking my pups to Playful Pooch and would recommend this daycare option to anyone looking! Attached is a picture of them resting after a great day at daycare.

Our dog has been going here since she a tiny puppy. She is now 2 and still gets so excited when I grab her leash in the morning and she knows she is headed to Playful Pooch. Staff is always friendly and helpful and I feel 100% comfortable leaving her there for overnight stays.
