The concept is adorable: come in, hang out with roaming cats that are up for adoption and have a beverage. The reality is there's an entrance fee, like a petting zoo ($12), 99% of the cats & kittens have already been spoken for and there's no easy way to know which is which. You have to go to the picture board or ask an employee. Suggestion: put green collars on adoptable cats, yellow on spoken for, red on unavailable...

Pawsco really cares about who is adopting their littles. It was a great process from start to finish. Thanks for helping me get my new furfriend.

I went to the Animal Friends Alliance portion but this entire property was clean, easy to find, and well maintained.

PawsCo was an amazing rescue to work with! Great response time, friendly volunteers, and they work hard to match a pup with the right home. I cannot thank them enough for our new family member!!

An outstanding 100% volunteer run Colorado non profit, focused on assisting shelters with rescue animals who need extra care and love, providing spay and neuter services, and collecting pet food to distribute through Food Bank of the Rockies.

We adopted a dog from PawsCo about 4 months ago. The process from start to finish was great. After finding a pup we were interested in, we submitted an application online. We were called by a volunteer to discuss the pet a little more. Shortly after that, we scheduled a time to meet up with the foster family. It was great to be able to spend some time with the pup outside of a shelter, really see her personality and make sure she was a good fit for our family. We also really enjoyed being able to speak to the foster family and get a lot of background information on the pup and have all of our questions answered. We just love our girl, and are very thankful for the time and love that went into caring for her before she joined our family. Keep up the good work!
