I was visiting Denver over the weekend with my dog Duke and found this amazing gem of a place within walking distance of our hotel. The owners were so welcoming and knowledgable and we ended up with variety of high quality toys. They offered ordering treat refills for one of them before learning we were from out of town. This neighborhood is so lucky to have them and we will be sure to stop back on our next roadtrip through the area.

Sherlock Hound is the absolute best!! Judith and Gwen treat our pup like family. We feel so fortunate to have them in the neighborhood.

We LOVE this place! We take our dog Oscar here. The prices are great, they can order the food that we need and satisfaction is guaranteed. We always get cool quality dog toys here as well. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Judith and Gwen are amazing. They remember all their regulars and provide great advice, especially for a new dog owner. If they don't have something in stock, they'll order it and have it in a few days. I always feel so welcome when I visit. I wouldn't go anywhere else for pet advice, dog treats, dog food, and pet supplies. If you're looking for a great neighborhood pet store that specializes in dogs, this is the place!

Sherlock Hound is the perfect, locally-owned, small business, neighborhood dog and cat boutique. They have a carefully curated selection of food, toys and treats and are always willing to help you with specialty orders and requests. Judith and Gwen (my dog's girlfriends) greet him with a treat in hand and he frequently makes us stop by on walks even when we don't "need" anything. Very knowledgeable, resourceful, and always, always with the best interests of our 4-legged furbabies best interests in mind.

We will give them credit for knowing their stuff. One of the ladies there is very polite, goes out of her way to inform their customers on products and recommendations. She is very nice! Kudos to her and 5 stars to her! The other lady isn’t that friendly. She doesn’t hesitate to pass her passive-aggressive judgment. I believe she is the co-owner. The first two times we went it was great. The third time is the last time that my partner and I will be going there for our little love’s food, toys, etc. For being on the same team, that lady is really rude. She is the one with short hair and we don’t remember her name. They lost our business as well as our friends' business. Would love to go back there, but unfortunately, we cannot and will not be judged by her. Good luck, ladies. We sincerely wish you the best. Perpetually, Two Customers with disposable income.

Super friendly and knowledgeable about pets! I was so impressed by her taking the time to explain what treats were good for puppies and the quality of dog food they stock. Truly a life saver during this time!!

I recently moved to Denver and getting my dogfood here is one of my favorite things. They check in at the approximate time that I usually need food, they deliver, and they have great advice and suggestions. Definitely recommend.

Couldn’t be happier to have this place so close by! They order the specific dog food we need, always offer samples to try other foods or to hold us over, have helped us figure out some of our pup’s digestive issues, and even left some probiotic samples at our door when the larger size wasn’t going to be in on time. They’re so easy to work with and it’s so great to know they love our dog (almost) as much as we do.

Very small, but super helpful, with local goodies. Would recommend.

Very helpful proprietors. They offer a wide range of foods and treats and have their own special "mixes" of foods that they select depending on the age and breed of your dog. Also great selection of bones and toys. Very reasonably priced! Better than those big box pet stores!

Incredible service and prices. Owners remember my dogs after months without seeing them. They are generous with samples and available by text all the time. Prices are cheaper than places like chewy and the service is completely unmatched. Free delivery is available if you live nearby.

I shop EXCLUSIVELY at this shop. Prices are very fair, aside from the bones maybe but it’s worth paying extra for how wonderful the owners and workers are, and how much they are willing to do to help. I ordered my dogs food was going to take a week to come in, in the mean time I had little to no food to last him until then. They gave me free samples of really good quality dog food to hold him over. Right then and there I knew I was only going to shop here, THATS how you get and KEEP customers for life. Gestures like that.

Love this shop. They're super helpful and go out of the way to make sure our pets are always taken care of. Great selection of food and treats. They've come through multiple times to special order my dog's (Argos) food and when I've been gone overseas for work related travel, they have delivered to my house. They've even given me some "gap" food for my dog when they didn't have our normal brand in store and were leaving for road trip. Highly recommend. Support your local stores!!!!!
