I have been taking my cats here since I moved to the area a year and a half ago. The staff is extremely kind, caring and thoughtful. They genuinely care about the animals they encounter and I'm so grateful to have found this office!

Northfield Veterinary Hospital's staff were friendly and efficient. We loved Dr. Sandel and my dog Bonny did too! We plan to be associated with this hospital as long as we have Bonny with us.

Northfield is just the best! The team is incredibly kind and helpful and knowledgeable. They've provided us support for our doggos inperson, over the phone, and even via text. They just get it and we love them dearly. Our doggos always have wiggle butts and wagging tails whenever they are being checked out. I feel so much more confident as a dog parent knowing I have Northfield in my corner ????

My dog Abby has been going to see Dr. Sandel for the past year and a half, and we've been very pleased and impressed with her professional treatment, with the office's responsiveness to questions, with the way they handled COVID, everything. Thankfully, we haven't had to have any expensive procedures thus far, so I can't comment on that. But otherwise we've been very happy here.

We have been taking our 1 year old lab here since he was a puppy. He has had problems from irritated skin to allergies to possible intestinal blockages. It seemed as if he was always in the vet for a different reason every week. The staff at Northfield has always made us feel so welcome and would get him in last minute if it was urgent. And Dr. Shelly Sandel has always made us feel great. She is so trustworthy and always is there to help us with anything. They provide the best vet service for your pets and I would not recommend any other vet in the metro area.

Always friendly and professional! Dr. Shelley and Dr. Lai are both knowledgeable, gentle, and appropriately conservative with treatments. Basically, I never feel like I'm being pressured to do unnecessary treatments for my pets. We sadly had to put our former senior pup to sleep and the office was so kind and considerate during such a heartbreaking experience. 5 stars for Northfield Vet hospital!

Northfield Veterinary Hospital has amazing staff. They have taken excellent care of both of our pets (dog and cat). They were wonderful when our old cat began declining. They providing the most meaningful experience when we had to "send him over the rainbow bridge." They couldn't have been more compassionate.

The staff here is absolutely incredible! I’ve been taking my pets here for the last year and a half and have always been treated with kindness, empathy and understanding. I can’t recommend this office enough.

Dr. Lai could not have been more caring toward our dog Daisy. The tech who checked us in was also incredibly kind to her. We truly appreciate everyone at Northfield!

Excellent friendly staff. They were able to get our pup in for vaccinations when the current vet office was 4 weeks out. Quick and responsive.

I am very upset with the treatment I have received through this vet hospital. My dog has been coming here regularly for three years and I have spent thousands of dollars with them. That being said I called to raise a concern that I was not told my dog was in need of services when I called to make an appointment and was therefore going to be charged for multiple exam fees in the course of a few weeks because they had made a mistake. They apologized for their mistake and assured me I would be contacted by the owners to resolve this only for them to call me days later saying the owners were refusing to communicate with me and refusing to resolve the issue. I have asked multiple times to speak with management without success and they are now holding my dogs prescriptions from me unless I allow them to incorrectly charge me. They have lost my trust and respect. Sad that I thought they cared about my dog, but all they care about is scamming me for money. I would not recommend this vet hospital to anybody, please find a place that cares about your dog instead.

I have been taking my dogs here since they first opened. I love all the staff from the vets to the vet techs to the receptionists and everyone in between . I never once had a bad experience. They truly care about the animals and their human counterparts. In a profession that is very demanding and many times emotionally and physically draining, you’d never know it by the attention and concern they show each of my animals every time. I wouldn’t take my nuggets anywhere else.

When we pull into the parking lot of Northfield Veterinary Hospital my dog, who hates to be away from me, starts wagging his tail and getting excited. We've only been during COVID-19 restrictions, so they come out and get him and he goes right in with them and comes back wagging his tail with a big smile on his face. I had an incident where I accidentally poisoned my dog with my medication instead of his and they answered the phone right away and were fantastic in getting me in touch with the ASPCA animal poison center. They also volunteer to help hurt and abandoned pets and wildlife. Just a fantastic group of people.

Our pets are well known by our Vet. She always takes the time to explain to us in great detail the overall health situations with our pets, things to look into, and what to expect. We always feel understood and appreciated. We are very lucky to have found this place, especially during pandemic, when it was certainly a very difficult time for everyone.

Dr. Shelly and her team are the most compassionate, professional, intelligent, efficient crew we've encountered.

Whenever I go in there is such care and a feeling of warmth and professionalism. This last time both the tech and the vet made me feel heard and understood- I did not feel pressured or pushed to make any decisions but very honored. It was a great experience and it always is here. I highly recommend this clinic.

I always seem to forget to post to Google reviews and instead post to Facebook, but I just wanted to swing by and say that we LOVE this vet. (Also this review will be long because we have two years of great things to say about this place!) Our cats have gotten nothing but the utmost care here. Our previous vet had given us a lot of misinformation, but Northfield is so completely transparent with what our animals need and the time frame for these things. About a year and a half ago, we lost one of our kitties due to renal failure and the Northfield Vet team was with us 100% of the way and did all they could to help us, though her situation was unavoidable in the end. They even put her in their calendar for 2021, and we were told everyone remembers our sweet little tripod cat. Not only was that experience as positive as it could be given our circumstances, our other two cats LOVE Dr. Lai. The whole team has taken care of our cats so well that I could never imagine straying to another clinic unless it was an emergency or unless we were to move out of state. I don't even mind that the drive is 40 minutes from where we live, they are WORTH it. I also love that they can send you updates when your animal goes into surgery to let you know how they are doing. As an anxious cat parent, this really helped when our oldest had his teeth cleaned. They sent me photos of him and gave me updates before and after his procedure. Thanks to the entire Northfield Vet Hospital for being a vet that shows a true passion and love for the animals that they see, and for taking such good care of our fur babies for the last two years!

My dog Mo absolutely LOVES Northfield Vet. When I rescued her from Mile High Lab Mission, I asked for vet recommendations and they mentioned Northfield. Since then, we drive across town to Northfield. The entire team is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, welcomes Mo with a smile. They’ve helped me in a pinch, and always are accommodating. My childhood dog was terrified of the vet, now Mo pulls me towards the door of Northfield. Thank you for always taking care of Mo!

We've been taking our slightly neurotic rescue dachshund/norwich terrier mix for the last couple years.. Dr. Shelley, as well as the whole staff, are wonderful, with her... and with me! On top of that, the office itself is clean and bright, and, I'm not sure how they do it -- it doesn't smell. Love this place -- and it's people!

They handled my cat with care and was very gentle with him. It was so peaceful there that my baby fell right asleep. Beautiful and wonderful place to take your beloved pets to for care
