Honestly, i was skeptical that one-on-one dog training would be worth our while ( that is, over just using a series of YouTube dog training videos). Well, i am here to tell you that (with Kenny) dog training was SO worth it. Not only was Kenny able to provide really awesome training advice for us to use day-to-day, but he also offers boarding services. This allowed my husband and I to travel knowing that Cooper (our dog) was not only loved/watched after... but trained at the same time. Last but not least, Kenny ( after just a short time of knowing Cooper) actually came to meet us at the hospital after Cooper jumped out of a fast-moving car. I was a wreck of emotions and having Kenny there just to check in meant the world to us. Such a stand-up guy. I cant say enough, truly. Kenny, if you are reading this, thank you so much for all you have done for us and Cooper.

We found Kenny after working with several other trainers over the course of a year with our aggressive English Retriever. Aside from being (uncharacteristically for his breed) alpha and domineering, our dog had a history of lunging and biting people, our family included. After trying "everything" with medical tests and 2 vet behaviorists we had several professionals advising us to put him down. Kenny and Gifted Paws saved our guy. Aside from several recommendations, we chose Kenny because he was a positive reinforcement trainer, and in our experience, not all are. As the business name implies, Kenny is truly gifted. Our dog participated in a board and train and emerged a different dog. Kenny is patient, kind, and as one review described, a "stand up guy", repeatedly checking in with us after our dog came home. Aside from his talents with dogs, Kenny is great at working with people which not all dog trainers are. A huge part of training a dog is also training the owner and Kenny does this flawlessly where you as the owner don't feel like an idiot when you're trying to replicate what he's taught your dog. He empowers, encourages and gives owners the tools to continue down the positive path your dog is on. I highly, highly respect and recommend this business.

My wife had an unfortunate accident. When it was recommended she could benefit from a service dog, we looked for an experienced, qualified trainer to help. Kenny has been invaluable in not only training Maddie's basic manners, but also the task skills she needs to be the best service dog we could ask for. Maddie is a wonderful, goofy, fun loving dog, but when she puts on her working vest she is amazing. Her love of Kenny is clear and she lights up any time she sees him. We would give our highest recommendation to Kenny and Gifted Paws to anyone looking for anything from basic training to advanced service dog training.
