Dr. Lei has taken significant time to discuss our cat's emergency visits and care plan moving forward. She demonstrates true care and concern, and she explains everything very well. Also, the front desk staff makes scheduling and picking up food very easy. Couldn't have found a better vet! Oh and the lobby smells amazing which is rare for a vet clinic haha

I have a 7 y/o chihuahua/min-pin mix that's I've been taking here since he was four months old. I've had nothing but great experiences. They're on top of his annual vaccines and send me reminders ahead of time. I've never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room. The front desk staff and techs are all incredibly kind and responsive. Briggs has seen Dr. Mich and more recently Dr. Ellsasser and they have both been amazing. They are gentle with Briggs, take their time to listen to my questions, and offer thorough explanations and options. Their prices have never seemed unreasonable. They are very mindful of Covid safety which I appreciate. Their location is great because I take Briggs to Wash Park just a few blocks away after we leave as a reward.

I thought my appointment was scheduled for 5pm, but when I checked in, they told me I was scheduled for 4pm. Lena was so gracious, even if I was an hour late (and it was MY fault), she checked with the staff to see how she can fit me in, and they were able to accommodate me. Holly and Dr. Lei were amazing with my dog Chandler. Thorough and very kind. It’s a relief to find such a great vet who i can trust my dog with, especially when I just moved into the area.

My little buddy got snipped here because I had just moved from California to Colorado with him right around when he needed it, but I didn’t want him to have it right before a big move. The staff was so nice! Even every time I call they already know who I am and my cats’ names. I really love how personable and sweet everyone working here is. They even sent me photos of any concerns they had with my cat. Edit 2 years from original post: I still go here and have had the most amazing service. My young cat had a lump they helped remove and they gave free seroma draining because it formed from the stitches he had received (not their fault just his little body’s reaction). My older cat has been dealing with thyroid issues and they caught issues from my California vet who had said my cat’s thyroid was controlled when it was not. My old boy is now feeling better and happier with great care and they’re helping get all the work done so he can get radio iodine therapy. Overall they’ve been one of the best vets I’ve ever been to :)

Updated review*** The services provided by this vet did a complete 180 in a matter of weeks. I was super pleased at first because they advised me on my first visit that my dog may have lupus, and they pulled strings and got me in for a biopsy in just a few days. Fast forward to a month later. I was charged for three biopsies. Only two were sent for evaluation- both of which were faulty samples (too much hair and did not include any lesions) so the company evaluating them advised more biopsies may be warranted and could only note what the “suggested” diagnoses were. I also had to contact them multiple times for the results, of which they said they weren’t ready then I found when I got them that they had been ready and sitting for two weeks without any contact from them. Finally, I emailed my extreme frustrations due to the incredible amount of money spent with no real, accurate results due to faulty samples. Oh and paying for one biopsy that was never sent off. I was told a manager would contact me within 48 hours and it has been over a week. Now, I’m out of $2,500 with nothing to show for it and have to go to a new vet and do the process all over again. Thanks for nothing. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME or put your pets health in their hands.

This team is amazing. Before we moved, they treated my 2 pups Penelope and Lucky for 6 years. My pups received the best of care. They got to the root of Penelope’s itchy discomfort and successfully treated her food allergies. When it was time to let Lucky cross the rainbow bridge due to Thyroid cancer, they made sure it was a peaceful experience for everyone. I couldn’t be more grateful to Laura, Dr. Lynn D’Agostino and the entire DAH team.

I brought my elderly kitty here for the last several years because of the variety of services offered but mostly because we received wonderful care, kindness and compassion right up until her last appt. Dr. Adaska went above and beyond the call during my kitty's last days and I can't thank her or the office enough.

Our pup had an infection from a foreign body (likely a splinter) in his paw. DAH assessed him and decided he needed to have a small procedure to remove tissue. He healed up faster than expected and we had no problems with his paw after that. He’s a nervous pup and they did an excellent job making him feel safe and welcome. Worth every penny!

Please do not waste your time if you have a cat. I had a horrible experience with this vet. The front desk staff kept lying and saying they had given my cat's records to the vet, but then the vet admitted she never even saw them. They kept insisting she needed a senior panel, even though she had just had one, but no one read the records, so no one new. Then, about 3 weeks later, despite the fact that my cat was clearly dying, Dr. Adaska said "you know, I'd really like to get your cat in for one more test" and not only did she say it would be "at no cost to me", but she made it seem like the test would make a difference in my cat's life and death situation. At this point, any car trips for my cat just made her that much more tired and depressed, but did the vet care? Nope. Well, I wasted a half a day (because of COVID, this is how long it took when waiting outside the vet) getting a test run on the cat that was completely pointless and did NOTHING to help her. The best part? They still charged me for the visit. I paid almost $70 for a test that the doctor literally admitted she ran because she was perplexed about something. When I confronted them about all the issues (which are not all listed here because it would take forever, but they are well-documented) they denied everything and acted like I asked for that last test and I should be responsible for the cost. I now go to Goodheart Animal Hospital and wow what a difference! I am so sorry I wasted almost $1200 at this vet, only for my cat to die a few weeks later.

They are awesome with my cat Joey! They are very attentive and work with you to get all your questions answered. My cat has chronic issues which is scary for an owner, but they have helped me monitor progress and his comfortability. The Doctors truly care about the animals and will go above and beyond to do so. I love it here, I won't be taking my cat anywhere else.

I don't really have much experience with other vets to compare them to, but they all seem like good people, do a thorough job, and are good with communicating estimates, treatment options, etc Would definitely recommend.

I was here in 2017 but I am not sure if I left a review. After recently finding my documents from this visit, I wanted to make sure they got their due. in 2017, I stupidly gave my cat a ball of twine to play with and she ate a large portion of it. I took her here and they told me she would need surgery. They did everything they could do to lower the cost but it was still more than I could afford. But my cat is more important to me than rent. So I told them to go ahead. They opened her abdomen and even though they had my go-ahead to open her stomach to remove the twine, they were able to successfully manipulate her guts to pull the twine from her rear, effectively saving Dobby from pain and me from bankruptcy. They could have still charged me for the full surgery and I would have never known. They kept me updated, they kept Dobby safe and happy, the stitches were impeccable, and she had no residual anxiety afterwards. I have been to many vets over the years, this may be my favorite.

I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else! They are always so thorough and informative! I always see dogs going in so calm and willingly with the nurses because they know they are going to be well taken care of! I also appreciate their affordability. My Nova had to get a tooth removed and we paid less than $1,000 for everything! I always have peace of mind when taking my fur babies in for a regular check up as well as when my girl had to get surgery!

We love the staff at Denver Animal Hospital and are particularly appreciative of the genuine care they provide for our black lab. He’s been a patient since he was a puppy and several years later we couldn’t be happier that he receives his care here. Whether it’s a routine appointment or a last minute emergency, the staff is always there for us and our pup. Couldn’t recommend more!

Denver Animal Hospital and their entire staff are knowledgeable, kind, and great with my dog that has two auto-immune diseases. Dr. Tadros was able to stabilize his symptoms and although my Beowulf is on medication for the rest of his life, he has a great quality of life. Any future pets will be under DAH care.

Do not mistake this office for the DAH on Alemeda......this is 2103 E Virginia! Caring staff. They have helped me through some difficult times. Great with the pets. I VERY highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

Dr. Mich has gone above and beyond for the health of my girl Shih Tzu. She has followed up on her "free time" just to check in on numerous occasions and ensures that she is receiving specialists follow up and reviews these records and ensures my understanding of the expectations during this complex situation. Dr. Mich is knowledgable and has a sincere and genuine care for her patients and the parents of her patients. I am very appreciative of the care provided by Dr. Mich and the rest of the team. They have even seen her urgently in between other patients during acute symptoms. This office has also provided care for my boy Shih Tzu and I have always been impressed by every interaction. Thank you, Dr. Mich and team!!!

What a great place! Our dog really needed to see a doctor and our regular vet was booked so I found Denver Animal Hospital and they had an appointment open. They were all so nice, caring and took great care of my doggo. It was such a wonderful experience that we will actually be switching vets and using them from now on!

Our pets are part of the family and the vets and staff at DAH truly care for them. We’ve had 2 dogs and an elderly cat receive care for the past 4 years. When our Golden Retriever suddenly became ill Dr. Adaska and the techs snapped into action and ultimately performed a surgery that gave us precious weeks of life to say a proper goodbye after a terminal diagnosis. The biggest kudos go to the love and care our 20 year old cat Gigi has received. Dr. Mich, Dr Adaska, Dr Tadros and Dr Lei along with techs Laura, Pam, Josh and Debbie and Chelsey (there are more I’m forgetting!) have sincerely cared for her, been a shoulder to cry on for me and been huge advocates for keeping her quality of life in tact for as long as humanely possible. They go way above and beyond with following up even on days off or late at night. I’ve never experienced this much sincere love for my fur kid outside of our own family! They partner with you the whole way to ensure your pet is in good shape to live a great life. Best vet practice I’ve ever experienced and we are clients for life.
