I’ve boarded my dog here a few times. They offer various packages, you can pay more to receive daily pictures. However, there isn’t any follow through with this. They couldn’t locate my dogs collar at time of pick up, tried to send me home with another dogs blanket another time. Weren’t able to locate a boarding reservation, but thankfully were able to fit my dog in. They just generally seem understaffed and poor organization. I was told that someone would reach out to me to discuss concerns, but no one ever followed up.

They take care of your pet as if its their own, my Prettigurl has anxiety and she is very comfortable and loves to go to daycare. Thanks City Bark Denver.

I think my dog had a great experience (especially for his first time boarding)! They were very accommodating to his needs, as I needed him to only have solo play time as he is an intact show dog. They put him in a special in/out kennel so he could have some extra playtime! I even went back into the runs to pick him up - they were pretty clean considering I used to work at a boarding facility myself, and have seen it all. They were a bit more pricey than others in the area, but sometimes that comes with the territory. We will probably board here in the future.

I love these guys, my dog goes absolutely nuts when she’s with her friends at this location and it helps a ton when she gets home because she is just wiped out. The best part is that you can see live video feed of these pups in action and the staffs professional work ethic. Highly recommend not just going there but call in advance as day of drop ins can be questionable if they are super busy!

We have taken our dogs to City Bark for 15+ years. We drive 30 min out of our way to take them there. After our last visit we have lost confidence in their ability to care for our dog. We were excited for our super friendly lab to get to play while we were away for a weekend and paid extra for full day care. When we picked him up they said he had been kept separate from the rest of the dogs with no explanation. I asked again and again what had happened and the employee just kept saying he had no info but would have the manager call. They failed to give us his bed. He was so stressed out on the way home I thought he was going to pass out. When I got home on examining my bill I had been charged an extra $48 on top of the all day day care (we didn't receive) to keep him separate from all the other dogs. I called to ask for the non social fee to be refunded and was told again that they couldn't help but that the manager would call. I waited a week, no call. I called and left a message. It has now been two weeks and I haven't received an explanation or a refund. We will be looking for a new home away from home for our pooch. Quick update. We never did hear from anyone at city bark beside being gaslighted in a response to this post. Breaks my heart. I can now however recommend the Bark Club in Lakewood.

My dogs absolutely love this place. I like that there are cameras so you can view your dog's when you are away. They have such a great time in the water. I definitely recommend City Bark

I have seen a lot of bad reviews about this location but I don’t understand why, this location is one of my favorites a d I don’t even live there. I was only in Colorado for a few days to board my dog and had no problems whatsoever. Brady hasn’t been there in 8 years and when I brought him last time he was there, he was well taken care of and the staff was amazing so I give this place 2 thumbs up ????????.

I really like this place and my dog is always excited to walk into the building. I will say, though, that they’ve recently stopped allowing walk ins for daycare and have gone to a reservation only system. That’s fine and understandable given that they want to ensure they have enough staff to keep up with all of the dogs there. However, if you switch to a reservation system you should at least have a way of handling that first. You can’t see if your reservation has been accepted or if there are available spots so you’re pretty much in the dark on whether your pooch can go or not. I’ll happily update my review to 5 stars if/ when they figure that one out.

We took our dog here for a long weekend and provided our own dog food-the staff is well aware of a history of stomach issues so this was not a new process for anyone. Previously had ok experiences. When we picked him up we were given back the wrong bag of dog food-apparently he had switched kennels midway through and his food didn’t follow him. As a result he has had vomiting and diarrhea for a week. I have called twice (one voicemail and one employee offered to take a message) to discuss this with management-but no one has bothered to call me back. I responded to the post care survey and indicated I was unhappy and would like to speak with someone but got this in response: "July 20, 2021-Stephanie, we are so sorry Mickey wasn't completely thrilled with his most recent stay. A member of our team will be reaching out soon. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to sort this out for you both. July 21, 2021-Hello Stephanie, I'm so sorry we weren't able to connect via phone. We definitely want to get this sorted out for you and Mickey though. Please give us a call back at your convenience and we will be happy to assist! Ashlei Salsbery General Manager City Bark Denver" Well, the only problem here is that nobody ever reached out to “connect via phone.” Nice way to close out a ticket without having to actually take responsibility. This review is a last ditch effort to get someone to respond. Hey city bark-you have my phone number let’s get this straightened out! TLDR: this location cannot be trusted to keep your pet safe and well cared for. They are also not interested in having a conversation regarding ways to improve the safety processes that are currently their standard to keep other people’s pets safe. *Update: Ashlei the manager reached out to me via email to offer a refund for this stay and assure me that they would be addressing the issue to avoid future mishaps. I appreciate the effort to reach out and rectify the situation.*

My pups always have the BEST time here! The staff is amazing and everything is so well run. Ashlei and Traci in particular are amazing and highly professional. Definitely recommend this location!

I boarded my dog for a few days and I was very pleased receiving updates on him. Well on my way home I noticed my dogs nails were trimmed down to his skin which i did not request. They left his nails too short and look like he had been bleeding now I can’t even grab his paw without him trying to fight me to get away. By the looks of the reviews this has been an ongoing issue with no change. My sweet boy is traumatize, I recommend avoid bringing your dog here because your dog too will suffer the pain my dog did.

We boarded our kitties here a couple of months ago and while the cats seemed happy and well-cared for, the bottom support-pad of our cat carrier was not returned (I'm not even sure why it was removed). I called multiple times and finally went in person to try and track down the missing piece. Once in person I was told that the part would be mailed to me. I waited almost two weeks and when I still had not received it, I tried to follow up again. However, none of my messages were ever returned and I never did get the part back. I might recommend at least a different location for boarding your pets. While our cats did seem well-cared for, ultimately the customer service was quite poor. *** Edit to review**** After posting, I was able to reach the regional manager and they did provide reimbursement for the lost item. Which I do really appreciate.

Unfortunately i called and emailed their form online to try to get care for my animal, no one bothered to call me back..it happened to a friend of mine as well.poor service.

I made a boarding reservation with this location and they never confirmed it so I call the day before I'm supposed to drop my pet off and the person at the front desk pulled up my reservation and said they would definitely have availability. When I asked them to make sure for my dates and times they come back and say "I'm sorry sir we don't have any availability for those dates." Maybe they're just busy and it slipped through the cracks, but they seem a little inconsistent with service.

Left my doggo over night and spoke to a man named Reese the the next day about how it went. they have great service and very lovely people. Definitely the best dog care in Colorado.

City Bark isn't the closest doggy daycare to me, but it's still where I choose to take our pup because it's just such a good business. Filled with doting dog lovers, City Bark Denver always takes such good care of our puppy, and they are open at very convenient times. They're good about feeding our pup when we ask, even if our dog ultimately is too excited to eat. They also charge very reasonable prices for full or half day. I've never boarded there, but daycare is great, and our dog always comes home properly exhausted from playing with the other dogs. I appreciate that they screen the dogs before allowing them to run around together.

Staff were friendly. Checked in all day on the webcams and the pup was having a great time every time. He came home so tired he slept for 16 hours, which was a big relief after a day of skiing. Would recommend.

I have taken my dog to City Bark for doggy daycare since she was a puppy, and she loves it! The staff know her by name and are very friendly. I also get her groomed at City Bark and am very pleased with the work.

Very kind and helpful staff. We boarded three cats for 4 days. Everyone we talked to was wonderful especially the lovely lady with the rainbow mug at the front desk! The cats have been very relaxed since we got them home.

City Bark is the best! I’ve been using them for about 5 years mainly for work travel. They do a great job and my dog loves to go. I also like that I can see the dogs on camera online so I know he is having fun while I’m away. Jonathan is really great. Super friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend them enough!

I had to travel home for the holidays and leave my large, energetic dog with City Bark Denver for almost two weeks. We are quite satisfied with our experience here. The staff has been incredibly helpful and let us know when our dog had an upset tummy! We love to watch the webcams and see our dog playing with all the others, and his tail is always wagging when we see him. You can tell he's having a good time! 5 stars!

Was very pleased from the get-go with City Bark but we started to notice our dogs coming home with trimmed nails that we did not pay for nor request. We won’t be bringing them back now. Can’t even grab my puppies paws now without them screaming bloody murder. Regardless if we had discussed this issue with them or not the mental damage has been done and we have been stripped of peaceful care for our dogs. I have other complaints about the operations but that is less important. Not sure how they are handling this with the dogs but I will never trust them again, or bring our dogs back, based on this personal experience.

The facility looks small from the outside, but don't let that fool you. They have 4 indoor playrooms and two outdoor play areas and a pool! One of my dogs hates water and the other cannot swim (english bulldog) but I have seen on Instagram and on the cameras just how happy the swimming dogs are. Oh, yeah they also have cameras so you can check in on your dog throughout the day. This is a blessing and a curse. Some days I just check in once to make sure the puppy is doing alright and other days I end up watching way too long since it is fun to see them all playing together. The workers are all friendly and great every time I have dropped off or picked up. They always give me a short rundown of how the puppy was that day and they always mention how much they love my little Penelope, which makes me feel great. I would definitely recommend City Bark Denver. I have boarded my pets there and have used the daycare services multiple times and every time the dogs come home happy and exhausted.
