Barkly Manor Denver, Colorado

I waited a few weeks to write this because what happened irritated me so much. I brought my puppy in for his trial day and he was shy the entire time. I understand but it also struck me as odd because he was boarded at another facility and they said he did great and had a blast. He's also one of the most rambunctious dogs I know... but whatever. It was a new environment so I just attributed it to unfamiliar surroundings. Now I'm not so sure. I did this trial day because I needed to board him for Thanksgiving. That day, I set up a reservation for boarding him. This was weeks before Thanksgiving. I get a call less than a week from Thanksgiving saying "we see you have a reservation but we're full"... and I was honestly so confused. I had made the reservation weeks in advance so what was this??? The guy on the phone said "I dont know. The computer does what it does, I'm just telling you." So here we are with less than a week until Thanksgiving and nowhere to have him stay. Really unprofessional and not an acceptable business practice. The staff wasn't that friendly either. Won't be using this place again and quite honestly won't be recommending it to anyone else either.

My puppy Kiedis has been going for 3 months now. From the minute we get into the car to "play with the puppies" he is so excited to go to daycare. We are doing two days a week. He always comes home tired and happy. I do wish they did more social media IG stories because I do love being able to see him play. The entire staff is wonderful. Mo in particular is super friendly and I'm amazed how he knows every single dog and owner.

This is a great facility with great people. Our pups did so amazing on an extended stay and came back happy and exhausted!

Brought my Catahoula Leopard dog mix to Barkly Manor in 2019 and began taking him there about 2-3 times a week. He came back happy, healthy and tired every time I picked him up. Kim is an awesome business owner and Mo was always helpful. I would highly recommend this Dog Daycare. Thank you Barkly Manor.

Willow always enjoys going here. I boarded her here this time, so she could get some outdoor time on her vacation. Friendly & helpful staff. I highly recommend this daycare & boarding. They send you daily report cards with pictures too!

Everybody here is so wonderful. All the dogs I see are super happy to be here. My dog is starting to like it, starting to kind of get the idea of it. With my puppy's particular issues regarding being painfully shy, everyone is super sweet to him and very gentle, and gives him lots of love and affection!! He'll get used to it soon enough and I'm sure it will eventually be one of his favorite places!!

I’m new to the concept of daycare for dogs, but I really wanted to raise my puppy socialized well to other dogs and new experiences. She absolutely loves Barkly Manor. When I get her out of my car, she pulls me to the entrance - she’s so excited to be there and can’t wait to start playing. I also like the location and flexibility in hours - I can drop her off early if needed and pick her up late. All the staff that I’ve encountered have been great too.

Allie and Pringles ADORE the staff at Barkly and I do too! My older lady is very hesitant and barky but each person is super patient with her. My other dog is basically a living noodle and they EASILY contain her, no problem. I've also boarded here and as expected, it was a totally wonderful. Both dogs jump up when I say "daycare"! You won't regret taking your pup(s) here!

My Great Dane loves getting to play here. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There are times that my job has required me to stay later than expected. With a simple phone call, they’ve been flexible with staying a little longer for me. So grateful to have a place that takes intact males!

I have been talking Princess to Barkly and she always came back home very tired and when I dropped off she's so happy to be there. The staff it's very friendly and the picks that they send me so cute make my day. Very clean place my dog never come back home smelling and what I like the most is the Princes can play all day long if she wants to. I Love Barkly because I know they care for my dog. Highly recommended. .

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. This place is the best in town, hands down. My pup LOVES the workers and always has the most amazing time boarding or just at day care. My favorite part of their services are their report cards. So personalized and comforting! 11/10 everyone should take their pets here.

I was lucky enough to work here during my time in Denver before the pandemic hit and I have never had a job that I loved so much! Each dog is treated with love from every staff member and the open area for them all to play gives the dogs so much room to be dogs and have the fun they deserve. The employees are compassionate and trained well. I can only give praise to this woman owned, small business.

Only 2 visits in but they have been wonderful and their practices of working with dog behavior are in alignment with my own (and my dog, Luna). Thank you for making doggy daycare a relief and joy, again!

My dog is so excited when I drop him off here. He has been here for both daycare and boarding and comes home happy and tired. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and you can tell they love dogs. I feel like my dog is in good hands when I leave him here. They send you pictures during the day and they were also able to give him medication while he was there for boarding, with no extra service charge, which is a plus. Highly recommended.

My dog literally drags me in to Barkly Manor because he is so excited! On top of that, when my pup wasn't feeling well one day, Kim called me and took him to the vet right away on an extremely busy holiday. I can tell that she was treating my dog with the same care that she would use on her own. I can't thank them enough! While other places may have fancier amenities, this place truly cares about the dogs they are watching over. The attached picture speaks a thousand words about how my dog feels about spending the day with Kim and the rest of the crew...

Barkly Manor, Kim, and all the other staff are fantastic! They treat my boy life family which makes me feel better about leaving him at daycare. I would 100% recommend them for your daycare needs!

Today was my pup, Dwight's, first day and I'm so happy with my choice to bring her to Barkly! Dwight is anxious and slow to warm up, and the staff made us both feel so comfortable. My Dwight is tired, but more importantly, she is happy after her day at Barkly. The facility is new and clean, the staff are friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable. Barkly Manor is a no brainer for my fur baby!

My dog starts getting excited about a mile away from Barkly Manor. Once we pull into the parking lot, he’s practically leaping out of the car to try to get inside the daycare as fast as possible. When I pick him up at night, or after a few days of boarding, he’s happy, healthy, and exhausted. Not only does he have a great time at Barkly, his demeanor, mood, and confidence at dog parks and on walks have all improved as well. Great place, nice staff, dog has a blast. What more could you ask for?

My dogs love Barkly Manor, I have one that LOVES the water and he was able to play in the hose and the pool all day, both dogs came home super happy and super tired which is always a good thing.
