I have good and the worst that this place. I called 3 times about my horse being very sick I never got a return call and my horse ended up dying. Just now 8-6-2021 I called at 4:40 pm my cat just had a stroke they answered the phone I don’t know why the vet had already eft for the day. I’m so up set they are not dependable ????

The staff at Dorr veterinary hospital has to be hands down the nicest team I've had the pleasure of working with. They are straight to the point, ol school get in,get done, get out (but in a pleasantly mannered type of way). We live in Palisade, and will be driving the extra 45 min for this type of home town business. Thank you to this outstanding staff ????

If I could give zero stars I definitely would. My husky puppy got a hold of a turkey bone and it got stuck in her air way and when my wife and I went in they are highly money hungry by their comments of saying “I can’t believe you would come in here knowing you can’t pay” no services were needed although he looked in her mouth. We drove to another clinic and it was confirmed there was a bone stuck in her air way just like we thought. Highly don’t recommend using this vet if you have an emergency, very disappointed.

Just had my 2 cats there today. They had mites in the ears. The vet refused to use a light in their ears when asked to do so by my wife. The vet gave her a mean and dirty look after she made the request. He just bent their ears back and hurt both of their ears. Their weight was not taken. No lube was put on the thermometer for one or our cats and hurt him. No thorough exam of them was made - no manual inspection of their bodies at all. He spent 15 minutes total examination for both cats and we were charged a total of $80 or $320/hrs. He hurt one of our cats who is now terrified and shaking at home. My wife cried all the home because of the mistreatment of our cats and the abuse that she had to endure. We will never go back there again!

Simple nail trim for my dog. Went great. Price was reasonable. Would go again.
