Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital Grand Junction, Colorado

We are new to the Grand Junction area, and two of our housecats got an upper respiratory infection. I have called Orchard Mesa Vet Hospital TWICE and got the same treatment: "Oh, we can get you in in about a week, and we'll need to charge your credit card IN ADVANCE of the visit in case you don't show up." I asked a few questions to which I got evasive answers, which included vaccination status of the employees. I called again today to see if there was a different response and the reply was "Well, we're pretty busy so I think you may want to call around to other Vets in the area." No references, no phone numbers, nothing. I will never call them again.

These folks have been our family vets since they opened, great people who are caring and knowledgeable. when I same family Vet its because our pets [2 cats] are family.

Not happy at all with my experience would never recommend. Our dogs got into a fight took them here they charged me a deposit for my dogs to be basically be looked at. Then came out with a quote for around $1600 for them to be worked on we got ahold of our vet who could get it done at half the cost. Asked for them to refund not all but I thought maybe about half of what we put down. we got a whole $27.30 back. They did not treat my dogs but then the vet proceeded to tell me I need to be careful with having these dogs around my kids. They have never so much as nipped at one of my children. Just because their breed they were deemed dangerous. NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS BAD BY ANY VET BEFORE. I will never be back and never recommend.

We have had several pets and all of them have been in the care of OMVH at one point or another. They have always taken such great care of our animals, and have gone out of their way to make our pets and us feel comfortable. At no point have I ever had a reason to worry about our animals while they are being treated by the staff and would highly recommend this Hospital to anyone who has need of their services.

They are the best Veterinarians in town.

Orchard Mesa is not our regular vet, as our family lives more than an hour away from Grand Junction. However, we have had two emergencies with our family dog Andy, and Orchard Mesa has been willing to see us right away both times when the regular vet could not. We appreciate their excellent care and their willingness to help us out in emergency situations. Would definitely recommend!

They have amazing staff, and take such good care of all my furbabies. Love them.

Very compassionate and got us in quick even though we weren't a regular patient. My daughter's rat was very very old and sick they humanely stopped his suffering. We called around to several places and no one would/could help in an emergency situation. I will now be bringing all our animals to them for all their shots and health check ups for now on.. highly recommend!!!!!!!!

They have taken very good care of Sydney for the past 1 year. They are are very compassionate about her care. Great place to take you pet

I will not talk my dogs anywhere else. When one of my dogs was attacked and no where else would see him, the immediately took him back and saved his life. I haven’t had another vet genuinely care for their patience well-being anywhere close to the team here. They have all been amazing to my family’s fur babies and I would not recommend anywhere else in the valley!

OM Vets have been taking care of my animals for 20 years and I won't go anywhere else. They have a thoughtful, caring staff and I'm always grateful for the care and attention they give my pets. I've had experience with almost all of the vets but I've been seeing Dr. Canone Clark exclusively for many, many years. He is so kind and gentle with Buddy (and me too). He always listens to my concerns and shares his advice and suggestions in a way that I can understand. He is truly my partner in caring for Buddy and I'm grateful he's there for us.

They are amazing. We've left our fur baby there twice and both timrs she left happy. We had to board her for 3 nights and they even sent us photos of her while we were out of town. When we arrived, we called ahead and they brought her out to us. We'll definitely be back!

I had scheduled 2 appointments with them for 2 different animals. I requested a call back to pay for it but they never called me. I showed up at 8 am for my SCHEDULED appointment and they said that my phone number didnt pull anything up. I have had the same number for YEARS and i gave it to the receptionist 2 or 3 times to ensure that it was correct. They also had my email on file and did not attempt to contact me through that either. I also asked if they needed or wanted a secondary phone number and the receptionist i was on the phone with said “it wouldnt be necessary.” They were very rude and refused to do anything to help me or my kittens out (who are both sick). Do not go here. If staff has no problem being so rude to pet parents how do you think they treat our babies?!!!

Highly recommend the team here! Dr. Tanja has been a true blessing.

We had to put our old dog to sleep during the pandemic and they let us come inside for the procedure while other vets wouldn't. They are compassionate.

The care and warmth is something that cannot be taught, all of the team members treat your babies as their own. Thank you for going the extra mile!

Our Shih Tzu was seen by Dr. Nancy. She did everything she could to help our Puddin but sadly we had to let her go. The staff at this office is so caring and showed us and our baby nothing but love and compassion. We will be forever grateful to them ❤

They were very friendly and so fast! They had my dog out and back with her shot done before I could even finish the paperwork! When I mentioned my surprise the vet had told me she had everything ready and waiting for us! I so appreciate their preparedness and how easy it was to get my dog in and out.

When we moved to GJ a while back with a collection of three young kitties, Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital came recommended by a friend. For many years we appreciated Dr. Nancy working with our cats. She made us feel at home here. Since there is always more than one vet at the hospital, I appreciated being able to get a prompt appointment if something needed attention. Currently I have a kitty with specific feeding requirements, and most of the time it is easy to get the food I need with a quick call-in order. I am looking forward to having COVID out of everyon's lives so I can join my cats when the vet examines them! Oh, yes. This is the first veterinary place where everyone DOESN'T laugh at me for brushing my cats' teeth! In fact they have encouraged me to keep it up!
