The level of care is great , from phone call , to reception, vet tech and veterinarian. Every aspect of care is 5 star.

I usually take my pets to VCA Dublin Animal Hospital however, my dog needed to be seen ASAP and my vet was unable to get her in. They recommended VCA Northwest Animal Hospital who was able to get me in the same day. I was so very pleased with how they welcomed both me and my dog and was so grateful for their kind hospitality. They were very open with what needed to be done and were more than willing to answer any questions that I had. I had even received a call from them a day later checking on Daisy's well being. That shows that your pets are important to them. They are on the pricey side but I think that just might be VCA in general. But I am so relieved that my Daisy is back to her normal outgoing and spunky self! My thanks to the entire NW staff for making Daisy feel a good as new!!

I really appreciate all the work the people here do to make sure my pets are doing good and staying healthy. Both the vets and the techs are amazing, and really help ease my worries when it comes to my pets. When i took my dog in, Lorena sat with her and helped calm her down so well and with so much kindness. Everyone here is great, and i’m super thankful they’re so sweet, kind, and helpful.

All of the staff is very friendly, welcoming and warm-hearted. The vet I saw (Dr. La Rue) was very kind, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all of the questions I had. It's very obvious that everyone who works at VCA NW cares about your animal and its' wellbeing. All around a very good experience when I was anticipating it to be relatively stressful. I'm very glad that I was recommended VCA NW as they will be my primary vet for my new puppy!

**FIND ANOTHER VET** My puppy has been coming here since he has been 9 weeks old and he is 9 months old. Their prices are high and they seem to not really care about your pet on top of the fact that he has never seen the same vet twice. He had some type of intestinal virus and they tried to charge me over $500 for meds and x-ray because he supposedly did not know the cause. I refused the xrays and just opted for meds which cost me almost $300. He told me that if the meds do not work and I had to come back they would have to charge me for another exam. Recently my pup went in with some mass inside his mouth. I was quoted over $1100 and up to almost $1400 to have it removed and biopsied. i was also taken aback by the fact that she could not even say what the mass was but went to straight to surgery without even trying to explore other less expensive forms of treatment. What type of vets are these people??? Mind you my dog is not acting sick or shown any other signs of an illness. I asked if they would be willing to accept payment plans and they refused even though Ive already given them over $1000 in the last 6 months. I am now stuck searching for financial assistance to have this mass removed but I refuse to go back to these people!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!!! How dare you not work with people when we are in the middle of a pandemic. This puppy is my son's ESA and it is sad that these people are so money hungry that they forgot to be compassionate when people need their pets the most.

When my dog, their patient, needed them the most they didn't step up. Thank you for sentencing my dog to death. Sincerely, Roxy's parents

Great place, they work with care credit if you can't afford an emergency bill.

The doctors and staff were so accommodating and helpful especially in a season of Covid. We were allowed to come inside with our buddy, but felt safe and secure in specific waiting rooms, which were clean and all staff wore masks. They were open and available for even emergencies on the weekend and had clear and fair pricing.

Got us in and prescribed meds. They suggested surgery for long term care. Prices were higher here than other places.

Was told I wouldn't have to pay for my next visit by my vet. Get there and I confirmed that 2 more times with front desk, then after getting the work done was told I owed $100 by the technician. They are not transparent about prices at all and will only tell you the bill after you have to pay for it. Plus I needed to neuter my 6 month old kitten for adoption and they quoted me about $300 total when other places only do it for $60. This is a place that clearly overcharges and has suggested using Purina, clearly for brand deals. It would be one thing if they charged a lot and had excellent service and benefits but they don't. (Also had bad experiences before any Covid stuff happened too.)

My cat Mama got really sick and she needed an emergency Pyometra surgery. I called a bunch of vet offices and some said they couldn’t do the surgery. Others said they couldn’t give me a price until they saw her. Luckily I called VCA Northwest and they gave me a very reasonable quote and they were able to do the surgery on the same day. I’ve never been seen at this Vet before either and they were very nice to me during this very scary time. I thought my best friend was gonna die, so it was nice to be treated nicely. Kinda rare these days. I had to put a down payment before her surgery was done and when it was completed it was about 170 dollars cheaper so they gave me back that amount. A few days went by after the surgery and my kitty hadn’t pooped. I called because I was worried and they saw me the same day and gave me laxatives to give her. Over all very honest, fairly priced, clean, and a professional veterinary office.

All the vets and staff and always very caring and helpful. I always get a printed price quote before any work is done to make sure the cost is okay and is transparent. Highly recommend.

Dr. Van Valin and her staff were awesome with our entire fur family. I'm originally from Iowa. Since moving to the springs I have taken my pets to a few different vets. Northwest, however, is the clinic we will stay with.

We recently switched care to Northwest Animal Hospital and Dr. Lisenbee and couldn’t be happier! The way we met Dr. Lisenbee and his staff was unfortunate as we had to euthanize our 13 year old Chiweenie. From the second we walked into the office everyone was kind, courteous and incredibly accommodating. Even though no one had met us before, they treated us with the utmost respect and handled our baby’s passing with dignity and compassion. Now that we’re on the mend we’ve chosen to have Dr. Lisenbee care for our other 2 fur babies and we couldn’t be happier. His attention to detail and the way the staff takes everything seriously makes us feel like we’re in the best hands! We can’t imagine our pups going anywhere else and will be taking any future dogs we get to Dr. Lisenbee and the staff too! Thank you all for being amazing at what you do!

This location has given me the impression, on multiple occasions, that they are just grubbing for as many paid evaluations as possible. I tried to get a rabies vaccine for my dog, and they wouldn’t do it unless she had another evaluation, even though I had just had an evaluation less than one month prior at the same place. Then they wouldn’t refill a basic medication without another eval, even though my dog showed the exact same symptoms as before. They said it’s because it had been three months past her previous evaluation. Zero understanding

This is the best vet that I have ever been to. They were able to get me in the same day for an appointment even with COVID restrictions. Their accommodations and ability to listen with empathy showed their love for our animals. Their kindness means the world to me and we will be returning!

Fantastic experience bringing our kitty for the first time since we got him! They were kind and receptive and I’m SO thankful we got to go back with our kitty! Everyone was safe and wearing their mask! The vet himself was so warm hearted, gentle and funny! Definitely will be going back for our next appointments!
