Stubby’s dog wash is an incredible company. We bring our German shepherd here quarterly for full grooming and they do such an amazing job. She isn’t the easiest dog to groom, like a lot of German shepherds she loves to make noises and sing the entire time which I’m sure can be rough on the ears. When we pick her up the staff are always so positive and kind. We’ve just now started bringing our other dog, a corgi, in to have her nails trimmed and they do a fantastic job. We’ve been going here for over a year now and have no complaints. They provide excellent grooming services.

They are able to give my Airedale puppy an Airedale cut. They always do such a nice job!!

Would 100% recommend! Just moved to CO Springs and took my baby here to get groomed. They did an excellent job despite her being really knotted. And the price was great! Extremely friendly and asked how I wanted her cut. Gracie and I had a great experience! Found my new groomer.

Having come here for more than a year, their employee's moral character, or lack thereof, has finally shown through. I will not ever be back.

I've been taking my standard poodles to Stubbys for a couple of years now but lately it seems that the service has declined somewhat. I have recently taken my dogs there and shown pictures of what I want and even explained the type of cut I want only to have my dogs returned to me looking exactly the opposite of my request. This last time I asked for a top knot to be trimmed down slightly. Got my dog back with no top knot. I asked that my other dog keep his beard. Got him back with only a goatee. I also asked for a teddy bear cut (keeping his coat longer) which I assume most groomers know. He was completely sheered. When I called back to complain the groomer admitted she needs to read her groomer cards better next time and apologized. I appreciate the apology, but this is now the third or fourth time this has happened. I have not said much before because at least the dogs looked neat. This time both of them had clear sheer marks on their backs (that's never happened) and my girls ears were terribly uneven and what was left of her top knot had random pieces sticking out. I considered going back to have them fix it but I'm over it now. Gonna let it grow out. Trim it myself. Also, when I dropped my dogs off the girl at the counter didn't appear to take any notes on my dogs cards and proceeded to pull on my older dogs leash when he resisted going back with her. Sure he can be a bit nervous but after two years they know that by now. She kept pulling on his leash straining his neck which made him pull back harder. She then looked at me and said "I don't want to choke him". I took the leash from her and showed her how to give the leash slim slack and reward him for moving forward. He then walked back with her. Sigh. That worried me because she didn't seem to know how to operate a dog. Maybe offer a treat? Some encouraging words? She just stood there and pulled until I intervened. Another thing that bothers me is my dogs get groomed by different people every time. I would request a certain groomer but I don't know who they are! I rarely get to talk to the groomer before hand. I couldn't even tell you anyones name. The lack of transparency is worrying. Sad to say I'm going to take my poodles elsewhere.

This used to be our go to place, but now they never answer & we have left 3 messages & they don't return the calls either. Thinking they must have gone out of business. Either that or they don't care enough about their customers to respond

Stubby’s is a wonderful, locally owned, dog grooming business. It is exceptionally clean and reasonably priced.

So our babies have been going here for years. They groomed our grumpy geriatric 110lb German shepherd with ease up until the day we had to put him down. We have three energetic doodles that they schedule together and mange as well. Our babies aren’t scared and they always come out looking gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

Love, love, love this place! They are real dog people, and friendly to us humans too! I've used their grooming services and boarding as well. I would recommend to anyone who treats their pet as a loved part of their family.

Most of the time our dog gets the grooming that is expected. Only a very few times did she not get cut as close as we expected but we have started requesting/showing picture of what we want and we get what we expect.

I’ve been a client at Stubby’s for several years now. They take care of my little Kloe. It’s the first grooming place that Kloe doesn’t resist getting out of the car or shiver when she knows it’s bath time! I also like that’s doesn’t smell like wet dogs. It smells clean. I highly recommend.

The groomers here are amazing but it has been brought to our attention that the owners daughter or niece bathe the dogs and she is abusive towards the dogs. Heard she grabs them, shoves them and is aggressive with them. My dog has been injured bc of her. Came home limping. Stubby’s you need to get rid of this person and just bc she is related to the owner does not make this ok. I’ve told many friends to not bring their pets here bc of the person who bathes them is not kind to the animals.

This place destroyed my dogs toenails. Long story short, 3 of her front nails have now broken off.

Stubby's is by far the best! They always welcome us and sincerely are happy to see us when we walk in. It makes Gemma's day to see everyone there! They always take the time to add a cute accessory or flower to Gemma's collar! They always do a great job. Thank you for all you do Stubby's!

I took my dogs there and they scalped my Terriers tail off to the point that ot now will take a year to grow it back. Julie, the owner could have cared less. Julie is not involved with the grooming anymore, nor does she make sure who she hires does a good job.Not only that my neighbors are complaining about their service service.

I'm so grateful I found this place for my old dog She is 18 years old and blind and deaf. Other groomers refused to groom her because she has cancer too. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Maybe this is her last grooming...???????? We just want her to be com.fortable.

I won't go anywhere else again. The staff did an amazing job on my dog that hasn't been able to get groomed anywhere else. 10 outta 10.

We've been to dozens of groomers with our old lady over the years... Until we discovered Stubby's. Thank you for taking great care of our Lacie!

My dog had a cut from the razor and I would have preferred the groomer come out to show me the cut.
