These guys have been awesome for vet care, always quick and efficient! The quiet, cats only atmosphere is terrific! The wife and I once shyed away from this vet because we thought a feline specialist would be expensive, quite the opposite! They are cheaper than other all animal vets we've been to. Shout out to Wednesday! The waiting room cat!

I have a senior cat who has recently had seemingly serious issues appear. They have been so good to my kitty. Dr. Hovanetz did surgery for her recently and I have had questions two days in a row and both the doctor and her staff have been so kind and caring when I have reached out. They do not get impatient or stop caring no matter the outlook of your cat’s condition. As long as we are in this area, we will always come here because the doctor is competent and caring and the staff from the front desk all the way to the vet techs in the back who are the greatest help, are the best with kitties and friendly to talk to. It’s like my cat has an extended family with advanced medical knowledge. I cannot recommend this hospital enough to any cat owner.

The people at Carefree Cats are friendly, patient, caring, educational and helpful. I felt like my cat and I were cared about, not just another number that walked in the door to pay them for service. I love the fun hair colors of some of the staff too. ❤

Our cat has been boarded at Carefree Cats three times this year, the last time for 9 days and we have had absolutely no complaints. The staff has been very caring, even putting his carrier in the "condo" with him in case it made him feel more secure---something we never even thought of! They noticed his food preferences and were very sweet about caring for him.

Carefree Cats took great care of my baby girl cat last weekend. I was initially really nervous about boarding her because she's on meds for seizures and she can be a difficult cat at the vet sometimes. They were able to give her meds with no issues!

Excellent cat vet. They really cared about the health of my cats. They were very reasonably priced and weren't pushy with additional medicines and tests. They gave the options and prices and let me decide what course of action I'd like to take.

I left my cat Max at Carefree Cats because I was going out of town and he was on medication. Carefree did a wonderful job of taking care of Max in all ways. When I picked him up he had been beautifully brushed beteertthan I have ever been able to brush him. The people that take care of the cats are very caring. I would highly recommend this boarding facility!!

Saw Dr. Julie. She spent less than one min. going over tests of my very ill senior cat. Cost over $400 and still don't know how or if my cat will recover. There Was no treatment plan. Very very unhappy with lack of discussion. Will change vets. Do not recommend.

I moved here and this place was close by and had great reviews. I'd never been to a cat only vet and I was excited that this office would give my kitties the best most knowledgeable service possible. Unfortunately, while the staff was all friendly in person, I have had the worst experience of any vet clinic with ongoing service. Any time I need to refill prescriptions, I order them online due to price and convenience (this clinic doesn't stay open late enough to swing by after work for meds) it takes 3-4 attempts between myself and the pharmacy to get authorization because they don't respond. Typically the pharmacy will contact the clinic at first, and after a week of failed attempts I'll reach out only to leave a voicemail and try again later. This has happened about 5 times at this point, being every single time I've needed to refill an RX. My kitties have missed meds at this point and I've had to plan refills weeks in advance just because I know authorization will be an issue. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this clinic due to the customer service and seeming lack of care for my kitties' needs outside of face to face appointments.

Had my cats boarded during my vacation. Both came home with horrible kennel cough. I’ve never seen my cats so sick it’s heartbreaking. Staff is very short with clients, didn’t tell me how they did while I was gone, didn’t feed them the treats I left for them. When I called and got info about the boarding before hand, I imagined separate rooms with windows for the cats, instead it’s a bunch of cages lined up, touching eachother in the front room ( which would seem to cause a lot of stress on each cat). Will not be returning to carefree cats ever again. $300 for 4 days was not worth it to have my cats get this sick, and now have to spend more money to get them the care they need.

We used the BOARDING facility here. We reserved 2 large condos for our 4 cats. 2 cats for each. 1 week after being there each cat was put into 4 separate small kennels away from each other. When approached about the situation all they had to say was they had to make room due to other reservations. Even though we made reservations before the other people. We had explained that we had just been through a trauma of a house fire and they needed to be near each other. They obviously didnt care enough to respect our contract or our wishes. We also leave food and water out on the regular for our cats and was told that thats how they would be fed as well. And they were not fed the same either. Then a month after being at the facility i get a call saying that my 4 year old cat had a seizure and i told them that it is their fault for causing additional emotional stress because they seperated them into small kennels at a time when they really needed each other.and the Vet told me that seizures cannot be caused by stress emotional or otherwise. I then removed that cat from there and took him to see a different vet today and was told that it is possible for stress to cause seizures. I said thats what i thought because i have epilepsy. I would not recommend this boarding facility or the Vet clinic to anyone. Please do not take yourCats here. They will not be taken care of and will not be safe.

This was our first visit. Our cat and we were treated very well. We got in the day after we first called, and we were seen promptly. The vet tech and the doctor were very professional and compassionate. We were happy with the reasonable cost of the visit and medication. We will return.

I have been going to Carefree Cats for a long time. Within the last two years I have witnessed a steady decline in care. On one of our visits Dr. Mollitor spoke very rudely to a new assistant while she was helping her throughout the visit and made me feel very uncomfortable. She was very impatient with my cat on several occasions. My cat had gotten hit by my son’s car one evening after sneaking in the garage and I had taken her to an emergency vet. I was given medication for her and sent home with instructions. I had called Carefree Cats the next night with some concerns about my cat and the receptionist took down my concerns and forgot to call me back. So I called back she asked me again what I was concerned about. I asked if I could take some photos and email them to look at because they wanted me to go back to the emergency vet. They said yes. It ended up being something simple and safe thankfully but they weren’t willing to see me and wanted me to go back to the emergency vet and pay that high cost. Honestly the most disappointing part of all of this is they never asked how my cat (their patient) was or what happened..they never even called the next day to check on her. I won’t be back. I don’t feel like Carefree Cats understands my cat, treats their employees with dignity and respect or cares for their patients as they did in the past. It’s very sad.

Brought my new kitten in, and the Vet was able to treat Julius' ear mites, his lingering sneezing, and give him a vaccine! Best, most professional vet I've been to, even during the COVID-19 pandemic! Thanks for staying open!

I'm not sure what's happened here they have less vets, less staff. I took my two cats in and I feel that I was not heard. I have a cat who has had an eye issue for a few months and I asked about it and it was just dismissed without even looking at my cat's eye. My other cat didn't even get her belly felt or her legs looked at it was basically in and out after a long wait and dismissed. This place did not used to be like that.

Had an amazing experience here with our new cat that we adopted as a stray. I only wish they worked on dogs as well ????. Extremely helpful and friendly, and kept us informed every step of the way to ensure our new addition is happy and healthy. Cannot thank you enough for the super positive experience.

I want to give a rating between two and three. I have two cats and there was quite a difference between those visits. My 11 year old needed care from dehydration/diarrhea when we moved here, they got us in right away and she was sent home with a lot of medication, but did eventually get better. 7 months later I make an appointment for my 16 year old to get a senior check up since it was time and we had a good experience the first time with our other cat. Just stepping into the door, he did not want to be there and he has never acted like that with another vet before. He seemed miserable, started to pant and wanted to leave ASAP. We were put in a room for what seemed like hours before the Dr. (never met before) came in. He was very wiggly for the exam and had to be taken to the back. I could hear him screaming in the back the entire time which was horrible and I almost asked to wait in my car because it was so bad. They bring him back in and we waited longer......and longer....and could also hear all the staff's conversations in the back which was weird. The doctor never came back in but we were presented some medication for mild pain, keep in mind I had not said I wanted to put him on meds and wanted to get him a rabies shot and she never checked his teeth, which I specifically asked them to check making the appointment. It seemed that the Dr. was too busy and could not take the time to really examine him in the room. They say they use Feliway but the diffuser was empty and seemed that they haven't replaced it in a while. I had to ask again about getting a rabies shot, I could hear the staff and Dr complain that I did not say something earlier behind the doors. The Dr did come back to do that. I wish I had taken him to someone who really spent the time examining him and his heart because he died of a heart attack a few weeks later. I am not putting the blame on anyone but again I feel if the Dr had really spend the time examining him, maybe we could have seen it coming.

I used to used this Vet for my cat until recently and I had to get electronic USDA Cert from this Vet in this Pandemic Somehow the Vet is full booked and it was really hard to get my cat's document to find other Vet( i had to call twice and wait all day long for the document) Finally i could send the USDA document to USDA Sacramento CA and I had to spend Fedex Fees plus the money order to get USDA cert through other Vet since this Vet didn't have the electronic service. The USDA said the Rabies No. wasn't correct so I can't travel with my cat for now! don't know what to do, so I tried to call this carefree cat since the mistake was from them and of course I can't reach them today on Tuesday! so tired
