I was told my pet has a parasite, so I asked questions about it. I was given a poorly-written prepared handout ... it says to wash my hands after cleaning the litter box (which I would do anyway), and to wash my hands after touching my pet. This implies that the parasite can be caught by touch, and by extension, anything the pet touches. Later, I learned this is not true. I tried to learn as much as I can about the parasite, but McQueen was rude about it. I practically had to interrogate the vet because I wanted more info. I appreciate as much info as I can get. The vet told me to bathe the kitten, which I did. The vet also seemed impatient with me, not wanting to answer my questions. The vet said, "You can wash the kitten's paws, if it makes you feel better"... if it makes me feel better? I want facts! There are too many vets in this town to waste time on one that is rude. I have a sick kitten here and now they are telling me my health is in danger. I mentioned the kitten has a dry cough. I was originally told its nothing. I mentioned it again, and now McQueen's admin left a message that the kitten needs x-rays. To go from "nothing" to "x-rays" is a very expensive step. McQueen seems to be greedy. The other staff was great.

Very accommodating and the staff calls back for any questions I had when I was researching the requirements regarding for traveling to Belize with my dogs

We are new to the area and they were able to get my dog in on an emergency visit when nobody else could.

My cat was recently sick and I tried calling so many offices to get her in but everyone was a month out or charged an insane rate just to do an exam. My family recommended Brown Vet Clinic so I gave them a call. They were responsive and able to get her in. They handled my cat so well and explained what was going on without immediately asking to do tests and procedures that weren't really necessary. The cost was very reasonable and getting her a follow-up was just as convenient. The doctor and staff are very professional and kind.

The doctor was late. That is the reason for 4 stars. She was very thorough with my dogs. Very detailed. I will come back for future visits.

Very friendly and good follow up. My dogs like the staff there, and they live in a forest and rarely see people, and are hesitant about new people and places.. So, that made me hapoy.

It's cool you can drop off your pet. It's says not to come in the lobby, but I seen plenty people did. Didn't like how long I had to wait outside in my car and they get so busy It's hard to get someone on the phone.

We’ve been going to Dr. Gross at Brown since he helped care for our dog after complications from a procedure performed at another clinic. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say he was a godsend at that time, and we have been taking all of our pets to him and the staff at Brown ever since. Each visit exceeds expectations. The ladies at the front desk are always efficient and friendly and the vet techs are wonderful with the animals, knowledgeable, and kind. We have moved away from the area and Brown has set the bar (impossibly?!) high for veterinary care for our pets. I’ll always remember and appreciate how well they were taken care of here. Practicalities: VERY fair pricing (for military folks: I found them to be comparable to the on-post vet and MUCH MUCH better in every way!!), easy scheduling, great staff, clean, close to post (if applicable to you).

Today was one of the hardest days as a pet owner for me. I had to make the decision to put one of my sweet furbabes down. My normal vet was unavailable for a week, I had called around frantically trying to find someone to help me in a timely and affordable manner but was having horrible luck, until I called here. Not only did they get me in the next day ( which was super important as my dog was in severe pain) but they also did it for around 400$ dollars cheaper than anywhere I had called. They treated my dog with love and compassion, as if she'd been a patient with them for years. They were kind and emphatic, and walked us through everything before doing so. This facility and their staff made a very sad and emotional event quick and tolerable, and for that I am eternally grateful! I would highly recommend this vet office!

Took my newly adopted disabled cat in for a possible UTI. Was told by Dr. Dielo male cats don't get UTIs, so the test was never done. This info was false, as I later found out a high percentage of male cats are seen for UTIs. Told them my budget was between $200-$300 so they were quick to include a FIV test and x-ray to get bill up to $245. From the start Dr. Dielo was quick to mention euthanasia. A month later my boy was unable to pee. I called several vets but the only one who could get him in the same day was Brown, which was helpful. A tech came out to the car to take him inside. After awhile Dr. McQueen came out to say my cat had a urinary blockage with crystals (could be caused by UTI) and needed a catheter plus to stay in the hospital a few days. Also gave quote it would be close to $1200. So I left him in their care. An hour later I get a call they can't get the catheter in so referred me to the ER. They did an urinalysis this time, but IMO some of the urine from the test leaked into his abdomen, which was found by the ER vet. They knew my budget and still charged over $300 which left less for the ER. My boy had to be put to sleep because of the urine in his abdomen. Very unhappy with my experience. Don't recommend.

Great prices. Havent got anything serious done here yet but these people are very polite and try there best to make you and your animal comfortable. I highly recommend these people.
