First visit with Horizon clinic was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and answered initial questions I had. Dr. Hunt is very professional and you can tell he cares about his treatment of our dog. We look forward to having our pet looked after by Horizon.

Staff is welcoming and professional. They gave me a follow up call the next day to check on my cat (thought that was really nice). My cat had semi watery poop and got better within one day.

My dog became very ill 2 days before Christmas and we ended up taking him to a different vet which happened to be a hospital. We were told he had salmonella in his system. Horizon vet did not want to see him or treat him. I am out almost $11,000.00 for hospital bills since we were told by the hospital this is something out regular vet could have taken care of. Horizon could have seen my dog and treated him but chose not to. This could have killed my dog. This place is not a safe place or responsible place for any animal or human. Please take care of your pet by not bringing them here.

Excellent! Very friendly staff focused on your pet's well being. Treatment options and costs explained. I don't own a pet but if I did I'd bring them here.

Very good with dogs of every temperament

My wife and I have have contacted this clinic to attempt to setup appointments 3 different times for different non emergency situations. Everytime we were referred to an expensive emergency clinic in thronton. Not once have we ever even seen the inside of this place. I definitely feel like it's more about the Benjamins with this vet.

This vet literally refuses to provide any type of care except vaccines. Always always refers to emergency vet. What a shame there are no actual veterinarians at horizon who actually care about animals.

I've been going to Horizon for over 30 years. They are always caring and professional. It's also a family business, since Dr. Evan Dowdy's daughter Elyse is now a DVM and member of the practice. I would recommend them to anyone needing compassionate and competent veterinary care.

Always Great with my animals

We have taken our two dogs to Horizon Veterinary Clinic for several years. Their facility is spotless and the people are kind and helpful. They take wonderful care of the animals in their care. One of our dogs recently had to have surgery to remove a broken tooth. The process from beginning to end was great. I really appreciated the thorough discharge instructions that we were given. I would highly recommend this vet!

We have two new puppys in 2021 and picked Horizon for their care. I have been so happy with how thorough the vets and staff are. They are patient with all my questions. I know vet clinics have had a tough time during the pandemic and appreciate they are still there for us.

Changed to this vet clinic from Evans East due to moving to a new area. They are AHAA certified which is important to me but mainly they have great vets and staff. They care for your pets and take time to listen to your concerns. A great place!

Everyone was very friendly and the Dr was extremely knowledgeable. A great veterinarian experience.

They fit us in and then took time with our senior dog to access her condition and answer our many questions. They were extremely friendly and caring. We left with a plan to help our pet and keep her feeling well. We have a new vet in them!

If one is having a bad morning, one should not be answering the phone. Also, if a customer requests to remove a patients name in your database, don't ask your customer to then remind them to tell them during their appointment. Perhaps there is a reason one asked, maybe because they didn't want to discuss in person, since the pet is dead. Very frustrated with lack of customer service this morning.

Dr Dowdy and the staff at Horizon have been fantastic to work with regarding my French bulldog’s gastrointestinal issues. I truly appreciate Dr Dowdy’s approach to try treatments first that will avoid a huge diagnostic work up and bill, and Kirby loves everyone in the office. They were also the only office that could see us in under two weeks that wasn’t an emergency vet clinic. Thank you thank you thank you!
