This is a great vet clinic, we’ve been coming here with our dog Rocky since he was a puppy. They are always very helpful and responsive and help us keep Rocky up to date with his vaccinations and check ups. Everyone is very friendly and professional.

Every pet care individual from the vets to the technicians are incredible. The minute you walk in the door, you feel completely at ease and taken great care of. They are also very flexible and willing to help. Superb client service and their love of our animals is beyond exceptional! I wouldn't go to anyone else.

The care providers were friendly and knowledgeable. The thing that impressed me the most was that the quote they gave over the phone was accurate. I was expecting more fees/charges. I would recommend this vet to anyone with a new pet.

This is in my opinion the best non-emergency Vet practice in Denver.

I love urban vet care and all of the vets that I’ve dealt with have been top-notch. They really care for the animals in their care and I can’t say enough good things about the excellent service they provide.

Great experience from start to finish. I really appreciated the warmth and caring everyone showed my scared/reactive pup. Dr. Siebens was very helpful with behavior questions and sent a much-appreciated follow up email.

Urban Vet Care has looked after my two senior cats for 5+ years. One of my cats has begun to struggle with age-related health issues. Everyone at Urban Vet has treated my cat like their own and been receptive to talking over treatment possibilities. I 100% trust Urban Vet to take care of my beloved girls and am thankful they're my Vet.

Thank you for getting us in for an appointment so quickly and taking such good care of my old girl. You saved her life! All of your staff are great every time I've called or brought my cat in. Thanks again!

Can't really think of any way this could have gone any better...my favorite moment was when my little kitty swiped the fuzzy glitter ball (which the vet gave him to play with while we were waiting) under the front door of the exam room--and a few seconds later, someone rolled it back under the door! So cute and so cat savvy!

I have been taking my dog to UVC for three years and the quality & availability of service has declined significantly. You rarely see the same vet twice—there is little to no consistency in care and no follow up whatsoever after your visit to check on the condition of your pet. We went in last week for X-rays after I finally insisted his condition was worsening and needed to be looked at again. I have been asking about his symptoms for over two years and have told each vet he has seen that he had lameness in his hind leg post-exercise that gets better with rest then happens again as soon as he runs. Last month, I explained this again emphasizing how worried I was and the vet who saw him sent him home with anti-inflammatories—once again, no follow up until I called and spoke with a vet tech who said we could schedule X-rays for the following week. it turns out, he has degenerative arthritis and he his condition has continued to decline over the past few days. As always, I am told to go to the emergency room as they don’t have any availability that day. What’s the point in having a vet if they are never available to actually care for your pet? For over a year, they blamed “staffing shortages due to covid”—which suddenly changed to a ”national shortage in the veterinary field.” The lack of consistency has lead to his condition being overlooked and undiagnosed for years and no one to turn to when care is needed.

We take our pup here because the vets are skilled, the techs are sweet, the receptionists are helpful and polite, and our dog seriously gets excited when we pull into the parking lot!

Love the vets and staff and have received wonderful care for my 3 year old and 6 month old dogs. Evening and weekend office hours make visits work well with my work schedule. Prices are reasonable. We were very impressed when UVC followed-up with us after we visited an animal hospital during their off hours. Haven't had an experience that I wasn't pleased with.

I am deeply saddened to be writing this because we have been a loyal client of Urban Vet Care (UVC) for over 15 years. We have stayed despite rising care costs and increasing difficulty scheduling appointments because we always felt like the care was worth it. Recently one of our pups was diagnosed and hospitalized with Pancreatitis. The recovery has been difficult, scary, and filled with questions. Unfortunately, our experience with care during this time has driven us to look at alternatives. After hospitalization, Wheatridge Animal Hospital suggested a shift in the direction of diet recommended by UVC as well as some feedback on what caused the Pancreatitis. We shared that information with our doctor and the feedback ended up driving a communication wedge between the Vet and ourselves. Because we were unable to get our Vet on a call we had to communicate via the front desk and email which made it even more difficult. We had no interest in any sort of blame because the damage had already been done, but each time we called to try and establish communication it was made very clear by both the doctor and one of the team members at the front desk, that WE were to blame. This made a difficult experience even worse. We have called 2-3 times during the past 2 weeks and each time it took 2-3 days for anyone to respond, all of which via email. We ultimately were forced to call Wheatridge Animal Hospital to get any help with health issues our pup was experiencing over the last few weeks because of the inability to reach (phone or face to face) a care provider at Urban Vet Care. I have always hoped that any kind of healthcare challenges could be addressed as a team, but this experience has made me doubt that capability at Urban Vet Care. We are moving to another practice during a time when we should be depending on our current provider the most. Urban Vet Care has always done well when it comes to annual care but anything requiring a more involved care plan has become increasingly difficult to manage. At this point we have no idea if the cause of this is because we offended the Vet assigned to our pup or just a lack of resources to address our concerns. Regardless I don’t wish this experience on anyone looking for someone to care for their pets.

I hate writing a bad review, but I think they have taken on too many patients. I have been taking my puppy here since I’ve gotten him and when you have plenty of time to make non emergency appointments they are absolutely great. The hope with establishing continuous care with a vet is that when your animal is in need they are available. My dog has had a few emergent illness and when that happens they are “too busy” and can never fit him in. It could be the middle of the day or the middle of the week and the advice is always to take to an emergency vet. What is the point of having a vet when you can’t rely on them when you need them? I understand that they are busy, but being turned away repeatedly when your animal is sick really makes me feel like they don’t care about the animals at all.

The vet I've seen there is always nice and easy to work with, Dr. Rooker (only vet i've liked there recently). My other experiences there have been horrible. They try to sell you on services your pet may not need. Definitely not in the best interest of the pet, but about how they can make money off of you. Also, my pet was prescribed an anxiety medicine recently due to some of his behaviors. They had the right dosage on the bottle but the wrong pills IN the bottle. Luckily I knew the large pills didn't look right for a small dog his size, but I trusted what they gave me was correct. HUGE MISTAKE. I had to take the prescription in so they could check, and they 100% gave me the wrong pills. Save yourself and your pet and don't go here.

We took our dogs there for 8 years before we moved back to California last summer. This place runs like a well-oiled machine, and is clean, with state of the art facilities. We saw several different doctors over the years there, and some are now no longer there, but overall we had consistently excellent care and service there. The techs and front desk staff are outstanding, and some of the same ones were there for years (more turnover with the doctor staff than the support staff - kinda unusual). They even have a comforting room set aside for euthanasia - made the hardest thing we've ever faced a bit more bearable. Lots of kind, caring, and competent people work there. Have been trying to find a place here in So Cal that we like as much as Urban Vet Care, but none have compared!
