We have been taking our dogs here for years. One of our dogs has a lot of medical issues but is always well taken care of here. I've always trusted Dr Porter in treating all of our dogs because she's very personal and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend this vet.

We didn't have the easiest time finding a vet we liked in Boulder, so I'm glad we finally gave this place a try. A couple of years ago, we took our cat to a "cats only" vet in Boulder (that shall remain nameless), and they did veterinary surgery for our cat for a painfully and embarrassingly huge sum. VCA did a similar surgery but in a way that seemed much less traumatizing and painful for our cat and the whole thing ended up being a reasonable price. The folks at VCA are friendly, down-to-earth, and accessible. Plus, they were kind to our cat. (Believe it or not, the previous vet I mentioned seemed annoyed with our cat for some reason? But that's another story.) Anyway, bottom line, our 12-year-old cat is playing like a kitten again. He seems healthier and more energetic than he's been in years. No matter what kind of pet you have, I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The staff at vca all pets are great!!! Everyone is so sweet and take their time to do what’s best for your pet. I brought my new puppy in for her first time vet visit and her vaccines and everyone that handled my dog was extremely kind and careful about making sure she was comfortable. I highly recommend taking your pets here. Side note, Dr. Tucker is the best!!!! She is very caring and makes sure to explain everything and note down important info if needed. We accidentally booked a vaccine appointment one week too early due to a miscommunication about my puppy’s birthdate, and Dr. Tucker made the appointment no charge even after checking my puppy and answering my questions.

This is the worst VCA and vet I’ve ever been to. The person you need to speak with is never available. They do not return calls in a timely manner. They do not take the time to check records to provide the correct service. I routinely visit only to have to visit again because some mistake has been made. Do yourself a favor and take your pet elsewhere.

They lack diagnostic capability onsite, so blood tests are sent out and critical diagnostic time is lost. Everything is considerably overpriced - expect someone to come in with an “estimate” even when your visit is for a routine vaccination. Boulder is full of vets with better resources and higher value, so I plan to find one.

VCA has been a disappointing choice. I've found that they are an alright clinic, but very bad in a few areas. My family chose the clinic because of the care club, and how affordable it is. However, it has been a hassle to use it. First, they cancelled the care plan with no warning. Didn't send me any info to let me know they needed a different card number for payment, or that they automatically cancelled the care plan because of this. No call, text, email etc to let me know this happened. And getting there is consistently a bad experience. Last time we were there, we had to sit in the parking lot for around 20 minutes after arriving before they called to come get our dog. My family just had an appointment set, and we have a 45 minute drive out of the mountains to get to the clinic. Traffic was bad on Broadway in Boulder. We tried calling 15 minutes beforehand when we realized we would be a bit over 5 minutes late, but got no answer. We wanted to know if we should waste our time to continue driving there. We were 7-8 minutes late when we got there, but still there before the 10 minute cut-off. Try calling to say we're here, get no answer again. And then try again, and finally get an answer when 11 minutes have passed. They say we're too late and have to reschedule. I understand what the rules are, and that it was our fault. But it felt really crummy driving that far and then being turned away because they didn't answer the phone multiple times. I know a lot of tech students, and I've heard some things about this clinic as well. I'm not a fan of their business practices. I feel they push treatments and procedures (fecals for example) as a business tactic. Overall, I would spend your money somewhere else.

Dr. Porter is wonderful! She did an excellent job taking care of my cat that needed to have emergency surgery. I’m so grateful the office was open on Saturday. It’s always scary when your fur-baby is sick (especially during Covid19 when we can’t be in the hospital with them) but the doctor and VCA team was very professional, kind, thorough, and great at communicating. Thank you everyone that took such good care of my Guipetto!

They are 5 star overall. Our experiences have been most positive. Even though they are affiliated with Antech which is a terrible company, this VCA groups outstanding at every position. The are nice in person, nice on the phone, always locally involved. They are open many hours including weekend hours. My only concern is that the prices are a scooch on the high side. If that were shaved down some my feeling is that this would open them up for more market share. They are that good.

I love Dr. Zahedi!! I have had dogs my entire life, have been to a lot of vet offices, and she is hands down the most caring, patient, attentive vets I have ever had. She answers every question I have so thoroughly and takes the time to explain exactly what’s going on with my dog. Every time I have ever gone into VCA I have had an extremely positive experience. Best vet in boulder, in my opinion. If you’re looking for a vet office, definitely give VCA a try you won’t be sorry.

The level of care here is impressive! Our dog got a root canal with Dr. Klima. He is an exceptional dentist and once complete gives an incredibly detailed summary (with pictures and X-rays) of what was done. In addition, all the staff from from desk to vet techs were extremely patient, knowledge, and compassionate. I was a nervous wreck due to him being under anesthesia and everyone I spoke with took the time to make me feel at ease. The people here care. This isn't just a job for them. This clinic has a top notch team and overall I highly recommend it! UPDATE one year later - our dog is crazy and broke another tooth playing with his fluffy brother. Everyone on their team from last year has stayed - these people LOVE their jobs and stick around. The level of care they gave us was exceptional. I was a crazy momma who was SO nervous once again about anesthesia and they went above and beyond to make sure that both pup and momma were okay! This clinic is legit! They genuinely care and will take really good care of your fur baby. Thank you All Pets Boulder for treating my baby Ninja like your own. ❤️

VCA All Pets made it really easy to take care of my new puppy. I like how close they are to my house and office, and it's been very easy to schedule an appointment online. All of the staff is friendly.

If you're looking to take your pet somewhere for a good dose of dangerous drugs this is the place. I brought my dog in with a simple ear infection under the assumption that he would be prescribed some safe and effective ear drops as has been the case with any other pet that I've had with an ear infection. Instead, I sat there for an hour listening to the veterinarian tell me how my dog should be on anxiety medication because it's nervous..... In a vet office. of course he's nervous like any other animal in the vet waiting room. Then to top it off they insisted on anesthesia to simply clean the dog's ears. for those of you who may not know anesthesia is a very dangerous and there's a 50-50 shot of your animal not waking up which is why they have you sign off on liability anytime the animal needs to go under sedation. This facility pushes drugs on animals instead of addressing the issue. Beware. I paid for the exam fee and got my pup out of there before they had the chance to pump him fill of chemicals. In response to VCA: Is it common practice at your establishment to offer drugs to pet owners for anxiety when they come in for ear infections?

My wife and brought in diabetic cat for medial boarding back in late 2015. We had a great experience with the veterinarian when we brought him in, included instructions, food and toys and were promised the best possible care and would be taken out of the cage a few times. When we returned the next day to pick him we discovered that the vet assistants in charge of taking care of him only took him out to check his blood sugar level. I asked to see the accommodations and on his chart next to the cage it showed a blood sugar level recorded in the mid-high 200s! When I asked why they didn't check him later on after the insulin injection, they told us that "the instructions didn't tell us to" So a vet assistant decides to ignore the high blood sugar level and NOT check him again because instructions didn't state to check him again? We paid extra for medial boarding and expect a vet assistant to know that high 200's is a problem, and not just ignore it. We should have been contacted at a minimum. We had a bad experience with the vet techs and decided to go in a more competent direction in the future. In the last 3 years we hope they have changed their ways, but we will NEVER go back again.

Great people, so helpful. I couldn't get my cat to take some medicine and they helped me figure out a way. My Nebula is feeling much better now.

This place used to be great. It was open 24 hours and was close to our house. Then they stared to cut back hours, which in itself is not the problem that stimulated this review. …

People are nice. Only thing is the vet acts like a used car sales person trying to sell the most expensive items and mentions the cheaper items last and makes them seem not as important. Even tho the cheaper item is want they use for their animal.

Everyone that works here, from the Veterinarians to the front office, to the techs, are ALL kind, compassionate, and caring professionals. I have never seen such an incredible group of animal lovers. They treat each animal as if it were their own family! These are "Top-Notch" professionals!

This place is wonderful. They are very receptive and caring. It's unfortunate that they were unable to save my cat Harley, but he was old and his health had declined beyond the ability to be saved. This place did an excellent job, and did the best they could to save him. Christine, the manager is very understanding and caring, and even wiped clean a small remaining balance that I had with the hospital. I highly recommend this place, and when I do get another animal, I will continue to use this office as my primary care location!

I highly recommend Dr. Quelet! We are so grateful to her for helping our old dog while being sensitive to our budget. Everyone at the clinic is kind, patient and sensitive to their patients and their humans!

I took my dog in for a semi-urgent dental issue. I was able to see a vet within 12 hrs of calling which I really appreciated. My overall experience, however, was poor. The vet and vet technician were not assertive and did not make an effort to find out what was wrong with our dog's teeth. Blood work was $150, which I can get for half the price at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Pain medication and an antibiotic totaled close to $90, leaving me with a $200+ bill for barely any veterinary care. In addition, I was quoted for dental surgery up to $1000. I walked a way from the office feeling scammed with no additional knowledge to what was wrong with my dog's mouth. I was able to have the surgery done elsewhere for a quarter of the price and better overall animal attentiveness.

Best place, my kitty Ricky was really sick. We hoped it was something that antibiotics would help. His liver failed and they let us know when we went in for testing that it was too far gone and it wouldn't be of any use to do testing because the signs showed he didn't have to much longer to live. It broke my heart to heart that news. We put him to sleep a few days later. They were so nice and understanding. Even though they only knew Ricky for a short period of time, after he past his doctors sent us a card sending their condolences. You guys have no idea how much that meant to me. Thank you and I'll be bringing my other kitty and dog in soon.

Dr. Parrish at VCA Boulder took care of my little man after he opened his stitches from a neuter done at another facility. She was awesome, and so were all the vet techs and office staff. I really appreciate their long hours. I was expecting a huge bill but the price was unbelievably fair. Gordie recovered well and I really appreciate the excellent care he received at VCA Boulder.

I have been to a number of vets in the Boulder area, and I would say that these folks are the best. The vets here are practical, responsive and great with animals. They have great hours so it is not hard to get an appointment time that is convenient. Prices are reasonable and they even offer discounts on vaccines if you go in on Sundays (or at least they used to).
