The Barking Lot Arvada, Colorado

I had my dog Conner groomed today. This is a kid I bought from a Shelter not easy to groom. Looks beautiful!! Best job I’ve had with grooming I’ve ever had!

I have been a long time customer, but stopped when my job went remote. I came back in yesterday and wow I was impressed. DeeAnna, has made it her own. Tons of upgrades and improvement! Beautiful facility with a well trained staff.

Great daycare and great owner. They always take good care of our pup. We have now been using Barking Lot owner Deanna to help train our dog at home. Highly recommend!

Tyler groomed our husky yesterday. He did THE BEST job! We have had her groomed before but Tyler is by far the best. He was fast, friendly and took great care of Juneau. The price was affordable too. He is our new "go to". I highly recommend him! Thank you Tyler!

Val did an AMAZING job on my cocker, Jazzmin. I was absolutely thrilled at how beautiful she looked! I also am happy with the prices here - in my opinion, the best in town. I won’t go anywhere else.

My dog and I love this place. My dog comes home tired, and the groom and plays are affordable and the groomers are exceptional. My favorite spot, Deeana runs a great place.

I haven't/would never send my animal here just based upon the way the dogs are treated. I consistently hear yelling and telling the dogs to shut up, it's highly concerning the way they are spoken to. And unfortunately they have screen fence so high that you cannot even see into, it wouldn't be surprising if those animals are getting not only emotionally but physically abused as well.

We couldn't ask for a better spot to leave our dogs. We have left them there for as little as one night and over two weeks. After speaking with my dogs, they love it!

DeeAnna (owner) and Cindy (groomer) are amazing. I cannot say enough great things about them. DeeAnna takes her job very seriously and runs a great establishment. Cindy is a terrific groomer and is extremely patient and thorough with the dogs. I’ve take my golden there for daycare and also had him groomed. Would 10/10 recommend and go back.

I can not speak highly enough of Dee Anna and her crew over at the Barking Lot. Everybody there is fantastic. My dog Apollo has been going there for most of his life (2 1/2 yrs) and our new puppy Sir Didymus (5 months old) just started going there as well. They always get so excited when I ask them if they want to go to daycare! I always know that my boys will be taken care of and treated just like family at Dee Anna's The Barking Lot!

Deeanna and her crew are wonderful! They take excellent care of our tiny Chi. She's made friends there and all the staff take time to know her name and are always ready with a story about how her day went when we pick her up. Our pup gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot and comes home cheerful and tired, so we know she's having a great time.

Took my dog in for a trail to see if she could be a good fit and have a place to be while I am at work . I went back a little early to pick up my dog and saw an employee by the name of cyna being very mean and aggressive with my 1 year old puppy she even went as far as hitting my poor girl on the snout my dog was shaking with fear . Never going back and letting all my friends and the aspca know about this establishment .

My dog had so much fun!! I would use them again if we ever have to leave out of town.

The groomer Cindy is fantastic!!

Was my first time leaving my pup and of course was anxious and worried. Was so so happy to hear he stayed with other pups at night and played with lots of new friends! Definitely will be bringing him back! Thank you!

My dogs love this place. The staff goes well over and above to always help. Facility is clean, although for right now it’s curbside service only. I can’t say enough good things about The Barking Lot.

Two dogs have died due to their negligence in a period of one month. No doggie daycare should be operating if dogs can easily escape and be hit by cars. DO NOT take your dog here. The also keep removing these posts to hide their negligence. Horrible business! Beware!

Great spot, great staff they really do care

I literally could not love this daycare any more than I do! I work a lot (too much) and my Murph has been in daycare since he was fully vaccinated. We’ve tried out 4 around town and I’ll never go to a different daycare. DeeAnna, the owner, provides the BEST customer service to all the dog owners, and the best experience for my pup! He comes home from daycare, has dinner, and falls asleep! Murph can be a pot stirrer and has had a couple small issues at The Barking Lot, which have been handled amazing. They are honest and have great communication. Love to see the pics of the pups on FB after a day of play!

My dog was banned from the facility, she has been banned from a few facilities. This was the first time I have ever received constructive feed back, a clear and logical explanation as to why she was banned, a trainer recommendation, and Deanna even offered to retrial in a few months if I get my girls' behavior problems addressed. Deanna even went the extra mile and followed up with me this morning. The attention to detail and customer service was exceptional. I met with the trainer, and am hopeful Remie and I will be back in soon. Thank you for working with us.

Me to Jasmine: “do you want to go to the Barking Lot?” Jasmine: starts wagging her body, comes over and nibbles me (her highest form of excited affection), and runs back and forth from me to the front door like “let’s go let’s go let’s gooooo!” Every time we drop her off, she runs inside as fast as she can. The Barking Lot is truly her happy place. She loves the Barking Lot so much!!! Thank you for everything you do for her.

Great place! They take great care of the dogs. Taking extra precautions to keep the dogs safe is a big deal for me. This place makes sure that the dogs feel as comfortable as possible and they enjoy their stay.
