Jefferson Animal Clinic Arvada, Colorado

I was extremely concerned about taking my little chihuahua in to be spade, due to the fact that I was told by the Rescue I foster for that she was unadoptable. because she had heart issues, and she had been seen by a cardiologist and was given only a couple of weeks to live. The rescue asked if we would take her and keep her happy and comfortable until she passes. I was like. Awe, how sad and Yes of course we will take her. We'll, obviously she has lived beyond the two weeks since I am talking about getting her spade, but without a doubt I believe that she is getting so much Love that she has a DESIRE FOR LIFE and she certainly isn't showing ANY signs of being SICK! This little girl has brought so much JOY into MY life! Well, getting back to my Review... These guys took such good care of her and Me that I would recommend them for any animals .Thank You Jefferson Animal Clinic for being the BEST!! Jennifer Peters and Baby!!0

This place is AWESOME!!!! They are super friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. You can tell they take pride in their work and are experts in everything they do. I highly recommend Jefferson Animal Clinic.

My regular veterinarian was busy so I brought my 8 lb dog here. I gladly paid the bill thinking it was a bit high ($374) but I paid and left. 3 weeks later I took my 10 lb dog back to my regular veterinarian ($138) and found out when I compared the bills that I had just paid almost three times more for the exact same services. I had a good experience at Jefferson animal clinic and the people were very nice but their prices are extremely high.

My son adopted a puppy through Mamco which provided spay or neutering at their expense. They referred us to Jefferson animal clinic so we got her in for her procedure on Friday. By Saturday the site had become swollen and fluid filled. We took her in on Monday to have addressed by the Jefferson animal clinic. They determined that she had a hernia because the stitches had ripped out. They provided us with a $500 estimate for repair of hernia. We sought out a 2nd and 3rd opinion to determine that it was necessary. However a upon getting the procedure were informed the workmanship done on the initial surgery from Jefferson animal clinic was not done well and that is why the stitches ripped out. Now we are faced with paying more money to have this repair done which was by no fault of our own and very frustrating for us as our puppy was fine upon dropping her off. We feel taken advantage of. We will be contacting Mamco to discourage further referrals to the Jefferson Animal Clinic so others won't have to go through what we have with expense and surgeries.

This is the most caring group of people I have ever met. They are not only professional, they love animals AND people. My little dog used to be a nervous wreck when I brought him home from the vet, but now he is calm and I think a little proud of himself. If you love your pet, please don’t take them anywhere else for their care.

Our dog, Lucy, was experiencing some symptoms of discomfort and we booked a dental thinking she might have a tooth problem. The staff ran all of her bloodwork and processed it immediately so we didn't have to wait (everything was normal) and they performed an immaculate dental cleaning. The whole staff are so sweet with us and Lucy, and are great at explaining everything. They've sent follow-up messages to check on her, and cards signed by the whole staff, in which they said they made a donation in Lucy's name to support education and research of Veterinary Dentistry. It's those extra steps that really set them apart from any other vet we've seen. We love Jefferson Animal Clinic and are so happy we found this amazing staff!

Our first experience was great, and we will definitely keep bringing our kitty back for care. The vet and vet techs were so lovely, patient, and helpful! Grateful to have a wonderful vet clinic in our neighborhood!

Called a week in advance to schedule an appointment for my two dogs. Arrived the day of just to be told they never had an appointment scheduled for my dogs and didn’t offer to fix the mistake.

Wish I would have known ahead of time I had to let my pet companion go to a new Dr. by herself! I wasn't even aloud inside the building, or meet the veterinarian. I was panicked and very uncomfortable with this.

They are always kind and loving towards our four legged friends!

Have been clients of JAC for since 1969, and enjoyed excellent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care for our pets through the years. Drs. Russ and Renee are the best!! The staff is friendly, considerate and kind.

I’ve had an ongoing issue with my cat for 2 months and finally have answers because of JAC. I’ve lost count of how many times we’d been to the vet before I brought her to JAC, but it was no less than 10 and there were X-rays and two separate blood labs performed. I highly recommend Jefferson Animal Clinic.

Finally got answers @JAC.....I'll never go back to the other place off of 44th/Harlan since they can't return calls, get meds filled on time and I paid for procedure but never got the results back????

Great vet, good customer service & they are caring. Close to Olde Town Arvada. They missed an abcess on my cat (that I described super clearly & clarified)& I had to take him back, which is always a pain with kitties. They also offered an antibiotic shot without mentioning that the price was 3-4x the average antibiotic price or giving me an option first ($70 is a lot). It would have been nice to know about this prior to them administering the med. I am still a fan due to their vet & vet tech kindness.
