As a returning customer I am very upset when a five minute appointment that I arrived 10 minutes early for and my puppy was not seen until 40 minutes after the appointment was scheduled. This occurred because the receptionist Julie was too busy doing her own personal banking (admitted to another customer) that she could not get up and tell our tech that we were there but instead asked another person to tell the tech, which was obviously not done. Once I went up and complained Julie disappeared and a tech came right out and as mentioned the appointment lasted 5 minutes. A lazy receptionist made you look bad tonight especially when I still got charged full price for a 45 minute delayed appointment when I was the only person in the waiting room waiting. You probably should have a chat with your receptionist on customer service!

I want to thank Arvada Flats Veterinary Hospital for their assistance and compassion in euthanizing my dog several months ago. Even in the middle of the pandemic, they sensed I needed them and got me and my dog in as soon as they possibly could. My dog got the best from them and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Dr. Bender is a great vet! She's very nice, caring and explains everything so well. We adopted a new puppy, she ended up being very sick from the kennel we adopted her from and Dr. Bender and the team there was amazing. They were very patient, helpful and comforting while getting our puppy back to full strength. We will never leave Arvada Flats!

Honestly just a good all around experience with knowledgeable staff.

Dr. Bassett was highly recommended by a family friend. She helped my girl so quickly. Because of the lack of that I have now switched to her full time even enough it’s a longer drive.

Took mine and my mom's dog's in for their shots and a check up. The staff there are fabulous! They are great with the animals. It's a clean and safe environment. Been taking the crids there for a lot of year's. Love them.

HIGHLY recommended. The Dr's have been caring for all of my pets needs for over 20 years and are kind and compassionate. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Nuff said...

The vet is so good with our cat. It really is a conversation not a one way chat. The bill is always a little shocking though.

I have taken my border collies to several vets over the years without any issues and find Arvada Flats are in-personable and run there vet like a fast revolving door. They seem as invested like other vets. I had issues getting prescriptions filled for urinary food that they had been on for 5 years. They wanted to run new test and make unnecessary test for a new prescription. The food when it’s been working for years without issues. They are worse than HMOs …there in it for the dollar and quick to run test not needed. I have had friends with the same issues with Arvada Flats test being run that are not needed when discussed with other vets! THEY WILL OVER CHARGE U!!!!!

For anyone looking for a caring staff, quick response times, and honest pricing for their furry friend needs: 5 stars simply does not do the service provided by Arvada Flats Veterinary Hospital justice. My cat (Gertrude) began showing concerning symptoms early on Sunday morning (not eating, stumbling around like she was drunk, lethargic, ect.) and when she began vomiting the next day, I knew it was time to take her in to get checked out. Normal veterinary offices couldn't schedule her any sooner than four week out and I couldn't have a reasonable conversation with any animal ER without them trying to charge me through the roof for a telehealth visit. I took Gertrude to Arvada Flats Veterinary Hospital once prior for a wellness check before I could fly with her for the holidays, and even though I recently moved further from the area I still called to get an expert opinion. Per the vet's recommendation, I brought Gertrude in to discover that she was severely dehydrated in addition to whatever health issue I had initially noticed. The entire staff was extremely transparent about what they were doing with her, why they were doing it, and what the options for her care were along the way. While I always defer to the experts on these matters, it was extremely comforting to me to feel included in the conversation regarding her treatment during such a stressful time. After two visits and multiple tests run, they were able to diagnose and treat the cause of her illness within 24 hours of my initial call. The total cost for her care was less than $800 (the same care would have cost several THOUSAND dollars at an animal ER) without any kind of pet insurance. Arvada Flats Veterinary Hospital is the only vet I'll be taking Gertrude to from now on (fingers crossed we don't have to see each other too frequently though) and I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone else in search of veterinary services!!! You saved my little girl!

Have used them since moving to Arvada two years ago and absolutely love everyone there.

They seem to do a good job with our pets however my experience has been that every time I call the lady that answers the phone seems rude and inconvenienced. This makes me dread calling for anything.

I like that they come out to get the dog and bring him back when they're done.

They have a wonderful and attentive staff! My family has been going there for over 20 years with pets and I will continue that tradition. They are very knowledgeable and have reasonable prices for treatment.

The vets and vet techs here are incredible and love what they do! We have two huge dogs who have been going here for care the last 5 years. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and accomodating, and non-judgemental. Plus, my lab starts wagging his whole behind & tail when he sees his veterinarian. The veterinarian always gives him extra treats for being a good boy!

Brought out 3 your old Shiba Inu, Luna in for eye enucleation due to glaucoma. Dr. Best and her team are just that, the BEST! Amber received our pooch with love, compassion and professionalism. The procedure went without a hitch and Luna is on the road to recovery. Thank you all very much!
