I have used AMPM for 2 of my pets. I have been very pleased with the care my pets have received there. Their extended hours are helpful. Dr Bajwa is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I have found all of the staff to be very pleasant, caring, and professional. I would definitely recommend them!

I came in on a Saturday evening with a puppy I received earlier that day in severe distress. The doctor and the staff were very attentive to my concerns and did a thorough evaluation. The information I was provided helped me determine what decisions to make next. I couldn't have been more satisfied with everyone's professionalism and caring attitude towards my puppy and me. I highly recommend this facility to everyone.

I usually don't leave reviews but be warned! My boyfriend took our 8 year old dog here with breathing problems, the doctor told him, our dog wasn't getting enough oxygen and would need overnight extensive care. He told him, he needed to take him to an overnight veterinary that was 20 minutes away because they closed at 10pm. It was around 5pm when he was told this. Instead of stabilizing our dog or doing something to save him they sent him away and he passed away on the car ride to the other veterinary hospital. That was completely unprofessional and should have never happened.

There are 2 doctors here at least. The older brother doctor is compassionate but the younger doctor is not. My 10 year old cat died after coming here. The older doctor said his passing can't be because of IV fluid treatment but honestly I wasn't there in the back room where they are supposedly treating him. So, I don't know what they really did to him. And while I'm in the room to put my cat to sleep, receptionist or vet tech asked me to pay for euthanasia. She told me her name is Jasmine. I told her it's very inappropriate for her to ask me to pay while my cat is dying. She said sorry but I don't think she really feels sorry because she said she still has to check me out. My other dog was euthanized here as well when he was 14 years old, the vet tech did not ask me to pay while I'm in the room to wait for euthanasia. This vet needs to hire compassionate people working here. I would not recommend this vet for your pet.

They did not tell us of an FDA warning about flea, tick and heartworm products and 12 hours after they applied a product named Revolution onto our puppy, the puppy died. I do not recommend this place and regret ever coming here. Please read the FDA warning (neurological adverse events=brain damage). They could have mentioned the potential for poisoning and we would have declined it. "Fast Facts: The FDA is alerting pet owners and veterinarians of the potential for neurologic adverse events in dogs and cats when treated with drugs that are in the isoxazoline class. The FDA-approved drugs in this class are Bravecto (fluralaner) tablets for dogs, Bravecto (fluralaner) topical solution for cats and dogs, Bravecto Plus (fluralaner and moxidectin) topical solution for cats, Bravecto 1-month (fluralaner) tablets for cats, Nexgard (afoxalaner) tablets for dogs, Simparica (sarolaner) tablets for dogs, Simparica Trio (sarolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel) tablets for dogs, Credelio (lotilaner) tablets for dogs and cats, and Revolution Plus (selamectin and sarolaner) topical solution for cats. These products are approved for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations, and the treatment and control of tick infestations. Some of these products also have other indications. Although these products can and have been safely used in the majority of dogs and cats, pet owners should consult with their veterinarian to review their patients’ medical histories and determine whether a product in the isoxazoline class is appropriate for their pet. What should I know? The FDA considers products in the isoxazoline class to be safe and effective for dogs and cats but is providing this information so that pet owners and veterinarians can take it into consideration when choosing flea and tick products for their pets. Isoxazoline products have been associated with neurologic adverse reactions, including muscle tremors, ataxia, and seizures in some dogs and cats; Although most dogs and cats haven’t had neurologic adverse reactions, seizures may occur in animals without a prior history; Many products are available for prevention and control of flea and tick infestations. You can discuss all options with your veterinarian to choose the right product for your pet. What products are in the isoxazoline class? The FDA-approved drugs in this class are Bravecto (fluralaner) tablets for dogs Bravecto (fluralaner) topical solution for cats and dogs Bravecto Plus (fluralaner and moxidectin) topical solution for cats Bravecto 1-month (fluralaner) tablets for cats Credelio (lotilaner) tablets for dogs and cats Nexgard (afoxalaner) tablets for dogs Simparica (sarolaner) tablets for dogs Simparica Trio (sarolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel) tablets for dogs Revolution Plus (selamectin and sarolaner) topical solution for cats These products are approved for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations, and the treatment and control of tick infestations."

I've had multiple bad experiences with this Vet. When we scheduled our dog's spay appointment, we showed up the day of the appointment to find out it was not entered into their system. "Luckily", they were still able to get us in after some commotion. Anytime we were prescribed medication, their cost for said medication was double what chewy or 1-800-pet-meds cost. Oh, and they will make it very difficult for you to try to purchase prescribed medication on chewy or 1800 pet meds, they will not communicate with said online pharmacies, seemingly to discourage the fair price purchase of medication from external sources. Just today, my dog went in for a possible eye infection. $60 visit, $45 to shine a blacklight in my dog's eyes and $40 for eye drops. After my wife returned home, I called to complain about their prices and I told them that we were not going to be returning for further visits. They called MY WIFE back and told her that they do not appreciate my call!! Now I'm furious. I don't appreciate you taking advantage of my wife and charging such high prices for "procedures" (blacklight) that should cost a fraction of your price. Dr. B is also seemingly very unprofessional in responding to bad reviews left for his vet office, even calling one pet owner a moron on Yelp!!! Go elsewhere for pet care!

We began going here shortly after they first opened, well over 5-6 years. Dr. Bajwa and his team are the best! He doesn't try to upsell, sometimes recommending to start with this, and if it doesn't work, we can try X (more expensive). He is super caring w our pets, as are the assistants/vet techs. I highly recommend him!

Not a reliable place, and taking advantage of the owners emotional state to over charged them with a very high price! I brought in my dog yesterday after he opened up his stitches on his Dewclaw, the dewclaw was 90% detached from his leg so the doctor recommended to remove it, I’ve been charged 1,325$ to get it done , after talking to a few other vets I realize that I was waaaay over charged, something that should’ve cost me 750$ anded up to be double the price!

The care my 2 boys , Koa (goldendoodle) & Rocky (Bernadoodle) , get from all the staff and Dr. Bajwa should be the standard for any pet. They follow up and are always ready to answer any questions. We’ll be lifetime customers.

We brought our fur baby in about a year ago to get a second opinion. I was concerned because his health seemed to be failing & his other vet didn’t see anything seriously wrong with him. Dr B ran some diagnostic tests on him (should have been run by our previous vet). Long story short, change of diet (kidney disease) and some meds for his previously undiagnosed hypothyroidism & our boy is back to normal. Dr. B and his staff are extremely caring & professional. Our dog is fairly large and doesn’t like strangers and he’s actually better with the staff here than any previous offices. They are now our new vet care provider and continue to monitor our baby’s health. One year later and he’s still doing well. We could not be more grateful.

My roomate and I had to have our cat Kittyface put to sleep. It was a Sunday evening and no hospitals were open, or the ones that were wanted 4-600$ to do it. Kittyface was in pain from kidney failure. The hospitals we did get a hold of also said we could not go in with her, we would have to drop her off and she would be alone. We were absolutely devastated and panicked. At the very last minute we got a hold of AmPm hospital in Yorba Linda. The woman on the phone couldn't have been nicer! She understood our situation and said " bring her in now, I will let you come in with her and i will only charge you 215$". We went straight over there and filled out the paperwork outside. They put us in a room in less than 20 minutes and told us to take as much time as we need with Kittyface. They did not rush us, they did not make us feel like we were inconveniencing them, and they were extremely sympathetic. The girl who administered the shot was so gentle and respectful. Two days later we received a card in the mail from them. I was so touched and shocked to see that all the staff members actually wrote something rather then just signing their name. It was also the nicest card ever!! I think we found a new vet for my roommates dog Dexter. To all the staff and especially the girl who helped us, I can't thank you enough!! You made an awful situation as pleasant as possible. You are an Angel and made a world of difference. I hope you know how much you helped two people that night! If anyone is reading this and debating on where to take your pet......this is hands down the place!!!! Thank you again to all of you, you are no doubt the best pet hospital EVER.

I took my poodle in. The staffs were amazingly very courteous and professional even when they were extremely busy. Dr took a time to explain procedures. Both veterinarians really care and love animals!!! My poodle doesn’t have a pet insurance and was very affordable. I drove 30 mins because of quality of care, caring for pets, and affordable!!!

I always feel like my pets are safe and exceptionally cared for here. The staff is so helpful and goes out of their way to not do any unnecessary diagnostics or testing, which can save so much money! We are thrilled with the care our animals have gotten here.

Dr. Bajwa and staff are absolutely wonderful! Our dog, Marble, is a little over a year and a half old and has been there countless times as she has had a lot of stomach issues to be figured out along with being a little accident prone. I fully trust Dr. Bajwa when we take our dog in for any issue to do whatever is needed as he is trustworthy and professional. I know whatever is done is necessary and not for any kind of final bill amount. Dr. Bajwa and the team really do care about the animals there. The staff/vet techs are always so pleasant to work with, follow up on your animals, and are always willing to answer questions when I may call frantically. Marble has always been able to get in for an appointment so quickly when I feel like something is not right. I now moved about 45 minutes away from AM PM vet and we still drive back for their care!

I have been taking my three dogs to Am Pm for a few years now, the staff and Dr B have always shown great knowledge, care and concern with my dogs health. The past few months have been especially rough with medical issues regarding two of my babies and unfortunately we had to say goodbye to one last week, we know that Dr B and the staff did all that they could and showed us genuine compassion in dealing with out loss. I would recommend Am Pm with the utmost confidence, they are the best vet I have ever delt with hands down. ***Update: My family received a sympathy card signed by all in the office, this meant the world to me personally and just emphasizes my feeling of best vet I have ever had!

Dr B and the staff are fantastic, really. Honest, totally caring (loving our 4-legged family), and very kind to us when one of two pups had to be put to sleep for her sake.. We could not recommend them more highly. Late evening issues - they are there. Saturday, Sunday issues - they are there.
