Front desk staff is wonderful. Rest of experience has me looking elsewhere. We were able to sneak in due to a cancellation. We found a stray and wanted to get her checked out and fully vaccinated. The initial quote that was presented to us was $1200+. We worked with the vet tech to cut some things out that didn't seem necessary and brought the bill down to around ~$500. We were not informed we would need to do additional tapeworm treatments until I called today. When I called today the vet says she told us during the initial visit, but neither of us heard it. I don't blame her, it sounds like they are understaffed and stretched all the way thin and she seemed to have been on a timer when she walked into chat with us. I'm sure she sees a lot of patients. When I looked into the tapeworm medication I found the injectable medication on chewy rx. Is it normal to charge 4x+ the RETAIL price of medication? Seems like a big corporate machine. Appreciate the urgent first visit, but will not return here. Felt jerked around and don't trust their lab tests (got a negative fecal test despite visually confirming there are worms)

This place is very unprofessional. Based on the phone call, I wouldn’t bring my animal into this location at all. I called to inquire about the booster parvo vaccine and the girl on the phone went on with a script as I tried to tel her it’s a booster she got an attitude and put me on hold for 30 minutes and another employee answered and said that everyone is at lunch. Poor quality as it’s finest.????????????????

Cali at the front desk was very kind and professional. The nurse that helped us out was extremely kind and helpful and even recommended stores and a website to register our pup for free. Very friendly environment to take your furbaby 10/10????

Save yourself the trouble. Dr. vole is wonderful and provided care for the pet. She is there on Thursdays only. However everything else from billing to getting transparency on medications and 3rd party pharmacies is nearly impossible. Looking for clear answers and accountability. Depending who you speak with you may or may not get answers. It has been a frustrating back and forth. I have only been a patient for 4 months and had 2 visits with Dr. Vole. The front staff would benefit from offering better communication skills and customer service. I will no longer be a patient if the VCA Orange location due to the front staff.

If you are looking for a great Vet, keep looking. Customer Service starts with Front Lobby. Their Front Desk receptionist is extremely rude, she is extremely rude to staff ..by her tone i wouldn't even want to work here but bring my furry family. We usually get Kat which is simply the best but Dr Lee and the Front Desk are very rude and unprofessional. If Kat will open her clinic we will gladly go. For now we simply cancelled all appointments and went somewhere else. There are plenty of Vets around and plenty even cheaper. We didn't mind their fees even tho are a bit higher because we figure is best for our cats but NEVER AGAIN HERE

Dr. Lee is phenomenal. She always takes the best care of our babies and is one of the most reliable humans I've worked with. I can always trust her to give the best care and I know my babies are in good hands when they're with her at VCA Orange Animal Hospital. Thank you, Dr. Lee!

My cats have enjoyed Orange Animal Hospital care and service for over fifteen years. I have always been treated with the highest courtesy and professionalism from all of the Doctors and the hospital and front office staff. Their service and care has always been five stars. We could not recommend the VCA in Orange any higher. We were out of town and had it not been for the flexibility of the hospital to fit us in last minute, their exceptionally friendly service to put our dog at ease and knowledge that her unknown symptoms were as a result of a spider bite, we could have spent thousands on unnecessary tests. Most amazing veterinarian service we've encountered!

We have been using Orange Veterinary for 28 yrs. The quality of care is most important. The friendly staff always willing to help us, treating our dogs with love and compassion. Very knowledgeable and professional Vets. Love the grooming service. Easy to make appointments and short waiting times. I want my dog ???? to have the best care. Thank you to the entire staff.

Called as a new patient and have used VCA before with very receptive and compassionate staff...this is first time ever I experienced staff who obviously didn't have an interest in being helpful nor responsive. It is too bad I was not even offered opportunity to make appointment with a Vet. They apparently dont want new patients nor their money

We have always taken all our pets here. Dogs, cats, birds. Very caring, professional veterinarians and support staff. We even needed to send a pet to the rainbow bridge, and we got a very sweet card, personally signed by the staff, and a paw print. They love your pet as much as you do!

The Asian lady Doctor was not very friendly or compassionate hardly even spoke. She kinda just stared at us and was ready to administer medication. I asked her what are you injecting and we then asked her to give us some time. It would be great to have a Vet doctor who can show more compassion. Thank you! *A special thank you to the guy (didn't get his name) who assisted us he was very patient and helpful.

I was able to get Daisy, my Pomeranian in the same day I called. Her regular vet wasn’t doing anal gland suppression because it was considered “ a non-medical treatment “. Daisy sufferers when she is not suppressed at least every 3 months. The staff was friendly and helpful. I pulled up and the tech came out to my car and took Daisy in, and within 10 minutes she was done and we were off. I never had to leave my car. I would highly recommend the VCA Orange to anyone.

We have been going to VCA In Upland for years and thought that it was the norm on how Vets treat clients. (2 hour waits, 3 hour discharges, charges for anything) VCA Orange did the complete opposite, quick, compassionate, efficient and competitively priced Our pup had an accident with her hip and VCA Orange was the first one with openings. They did not even charge for an emergency fee like Upland did in the past. Our dog is not the best behaved around veterinarians, (this started because of VCA Upland harmed her while taking her temperature when she was a puppy; Since then, she does not like the vet) VCA Orange still was able to treat her. She is now resting and recovering well. I cannot thank Dr. Lee and the supporting staff enough. They kept us updated during the procedure with text messages and kept us at ease as we worried about our dog. This place really shows how much they care about your animals. Yes, cost is always a concern for everyone, I feel that the cost is very reasonable for our emergency. If you are worried about being taken advantage of, this VCA does not do that.

Very nice staff empathetic. I have taken 2 of my beloved pets. The last one i took we had to make the decision to put her down. Staff gave us time to say goodbye. She was handled with love. THANK U FOR CARING VCA! And not just looking at us as$$$????☺

Our dog, Cooper is super fearful. I was really nervous about finding her a new vet after we moved too far away from our old one. Everyone at VCA Orange has been so great with her in our two visits so far! In fact, Cooper warmed right up to one of the girls there who we really appreciated showing Coop that strangers aren't scary! Our other dog, Fidus, is scared of needles (I know, how does he even know what they are, right?) but the staff has given him his vaccines twice with no issues! We are really pleased and feel safe with our dogs in their hands!

Friendly staff, short wait times. I take all 3 of my dogs here and wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else! Even during covid they have owners park in the parking lot and they come to get your pet.
