I have taken my dog here twice and I have left unhappy both times. I feel this clinic is just a money grab and doesn't really care about the animals. At least the vet I have dealt with... They present well, but their procedures are lacking. Example: they send out a questionnaire for your animal then do not go through the concerns that you have raised in their own questionnaire.

The only place for your dog, cat, reptile, rodent pet, rabbit, etc. care. Great surgery and ICU care. Great boarding for animals with medical needs... Come in and speak to Dr. Rode and you will know the love and expert care your pet will receive. Thank you staff...

Our experiences with our dog interacting with staff have always been pleasant. No complaints about thr care of our pet, pricing, etc. But I'm losing patience with their new protocols that eliminate the opportunity to call and actually speak to a human to schedule appointments and refill prescriptions. Instead, they make you listen to a menu of yelwphone options, and then, whichever one you pick, you are directed to leave a voice-mail with your needs and they warn that it might take up to 48 hours to process your call. Say what?! I did this last month for a prescription refill and requested a phone call back to confirm the special request on our order. I got a call back five days later and only THEN did our refill order get placed. So, much longer than 2 days. Now I called to schedule an annual check up for our pet and had to leave a voice-mail. Apparently within 48 hours I'll get a text message with an appointment time that I can either confirm or decline. Again, say what?! I just want to talk to a human, discuss availabilities on both our ends, and get on their calendar. This process is just frustrating and completely lacks any personal touch. I get that COVID made stuff difficult. But most everything else is back to normal operations now. I hope that these protocols go away soon or we will be looking for a new office where someone can actually answer my phone call. This feels like lazy business practices to make your customers leave voice-mail for everything...

The vet is amazing but buyer beware The one star is really for the business side of the practice in regards to billing practices, dishonesty, and lack of transparency. I always seem to encounter surprised fees or charges that I didn't agree to. An example is they wanted to charge $75 to draw fluid from an abscess (that had no fluid). That didn't include the lab portion. Furthermore, when I wanted to board my pet I confirmed the required immunizations and told CIV is recommended. Once I arrive, I was told it was required and they tried to get me to pay for an exam and the shot ($130 extra). It was very telling that they do this because people are in need of boarding.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys! The compassion they show even on the phone is awesome and DVM / DR Robe is awesome and cares about your pet. He treated my dog and never tried to upsell me a single thing my dog didn't need. Prices are great also, compared to competitors.

I was on the road in transit with two Devon Rex kittens when one of them came down with a upper respiratory infection of unknown origin. Two other vets in town we’re too busy to help us but Woodland Veterinary took us in almost immediately. Dr. Ellie Johnson diagnosed the issue and prescribed the correct treatment for the problem in short order. Everyone was so kind and helpful and I was able to resume my journey assured that Pounce would be okay. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking the best care for their pets!

I am sharing this experience so people know what to expect if you chose Woodland Veterinary as your pets care facility. In a day where there are way to many "Karens" I hope the information I share does not come across as unrealistic expectations or ill directed anger. I have have 3 dogs that get regular care at Woodland Veterinary Hospital. We continue to go there because our Dr. Mikovich is kind and caring, we trust her and she is good. The front desk staff was once very helpful and caring as well. In the last two months I have had two of my dogs have their dental cleaning the cost for both approx $2400.00. My little guy just had his procedure Thursday and on Sunday started feeling poorly. I called this morning to see if I could get (pay for) some medication for diarrhea. The front desk girl said that to get him medication takes 48-72 hours unless I would like to bring him in for an "urgent" care visit at the "urgent care" cost. The wait would be long but I could come in and they could try and fit me in. The front staff are not kind or caring no matter how much money you have spent with them, you are treated as if you should be grateful they picked up your call. When you call them, every time you are placed on hold. Every time, no matter what time of day. Sadly, I called around and found an appointment at another vet for this afternoon. I am not sure if this is just the way veterinary medicine is now but I am searching for a new vet and I am sad to leave Dr. Mikovich.

Had an emergency with my senior cat on a Sunday. They got him in immediately and he was feeling better quickly. They were great with me as well as him (I was pretty worked up). They got us on a plan to help prevent future issues and were great to work with. Compassionate and patient with me and my numerous questions. Thank you

I seriously cannot explain how wonderful this pet hospital is! I highly recommend them. Dr. Natalia Pau is amazing. She has literally been a blessing for my fur baby that suffers from chronic allergies. She calls and checks on him weekly since he has been a frequent flyer lately. She truly cares. The staff upfront is always very kind and very responsive. Highly recommend!!

The supervisor of the staff named Jules or Jewels was pretty rude to me and accused me of being disrespectful. I loved this place, but because of something that someone on my account did I was also punished. Really unprofessional and not very truthful.

Dr. Amor and the Woodland staff are very professional and welcoming! I switched vets because the last one I took my puppy to was really expensive and rude. Woodland is reasonable! They were so friendly and answered every question I had. I highly recommend!

My dog suffered an injury and her back paw was curled into a ball and she would not put any weight on it. Upon examination it was all red and swollen. Thinking she might have been bitten by a snake or stepped on glass, I called several pet ER's. Woodland Vet Hospital was able to see her right away on a Sunday, and the price was very reasonable considering it was an emergency visit. The doctor fixed her right up, and she was walking normally just a couple of hours later. I would highly recommend this clinic and know for a fact that the same service in at our local university hospital would have been much, much more expensive.

My dog was a patient for his q5 year life with many emergency visits due to epilepsy. We went to them when it was time to say goodbye to our beloved pet. I have tried on two occasions to take my new dog to the clinic for care and they say we're not in the system and appointments are booked out and that the doctors will not approve an emergency visit for our dog. Very disappointed after using them for so long.

0 STARS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE FOR SURGERY or ANYTHING SERIOUS! I took my dog here to get her TPLO surgery done in March. Since then I have encountered numerous issues with the doctors and technicians giving me all different answers to all my questions and concerns. This is an expensive and big procedure and I expect to be given the right and correct information as well as the proper tools and directions to give my dog the care and rehabilitation she needs to heal and recover. Right from the start when I picked my dog up from surgery the technician told me DO NOT ice or put heat on surgery leg for the first 3-4 days, then when I called the following day a different tech told me I should be icing it since I brought her home but do not put heat on it because it will make the swelling worse, then the doctor told me to put heat on her leg and ice on the incision.? From their staff telling me different dosages/times for medications, a technician saying that I am over dosing my dog when I was following the directions on the bottle to she's fine and going back and fourth between 2 hours to every 12 hours.? I knew from research that the rehab part was very crucial in the recovery process but when I told the vet the days my dog would struggle doing them she told me its not really important and I can take a few days off if she doesn't want to do them. Although this just made things worse. I have communicated my concerns and frustration with the vet and staff over email and phone on both occasions but they would never care to respond or make it better through their service. I went in for an emergency exam because a sharp bone like point appeared on the side of her incision. The first tech that was sent out didn't even know that Madi had a TPLO and what to look for and told me it was a pin that Im seeing from surgery but is normal? The second tech told me pins are not used for TPLO surgeries and was unsure why the first tech told me it was a pin and must of been misinformed. The doctor told me it was a cluster of sutures and that's there is nothing to worry about and that she couldn't see or feel what I was talking about when I sent them pictures earlier and they brought my dog inside. Before leaving I was given a TPLO rehabilitation and recovery packet that was never given to me after her surgery and the tech informed me that I should have been given this information at pick up. I was only given one piece of paper and pick up that was not detailed or helpful in the recovery process whereas the packet would have been. (7 weeks late) I was very upset and frustrated when I left not given one final answer to what this bone like point was and if its something more serious. I knew it was because she stopped walking and doing all physical therapy exercises. When I got home I wrote them an email of a recap of my appointment step by step and what I was told and given during that time. I told them I wanted it for their records incase this was something more serious than what they diagnosed her with because I would hold them responsible to any charges or procedures needed to fix it. After I sent that they mailed me a letter telling me they are unable to retain me as a client within their practice and I need to find another veterinary hospital to provide any medical or surgical services for my dog. This shows that they don't want to be at fault for giving me incorrect information and that they are NOT RELIABLE to guarantee professional services for my dog. Instead of making it right (1 week before our final 8 week post surgery x-rays and exam) they decide to decline me because they don't want to lose their liability and to be responsible for misdiagnosing my dog and having to pay for their mistake.

We took our dogs to Woodland for their entire lives. They both loved it there and got very excited when they realized where they were going. We boarded our dogs with them along with their normal care. Great care for our dogs and helped us with our trying times. Very caring place.

Like all vets...they cost a grip! Lol but honestly this is the cleanest veterinary I've ever been too. Super friendly staff and they saved my dogs life after being my hit by a car.

I have had good and bad experiences here. They are very good for boarding. However, I just took my elderly dog in for an exam, and saw Dr. Larsen. I felt extremely rushed. I told her that my dog cannot hear, and she did not even check her ears! If I hadn't of felt so rushed, I would have said something in the exam room before she rushed her off for $600.00 x-ays and blood work. If you do go, see Dr. Johnson. She is great.

We have been going to Woodland Vet for many years, always had great service from the staff and the Dr's until lately. We needed to have our dog seen due to an injury she received at home. She got caught on the fence and tore her side open. My husband immediately took her the vet on a Monday. Of course it was an emergency visit and we had to pay the emergency cost. Our dog was sent home with stitches and a couple medications. 2 days later we again needed to take our dog back due to wound oozing. Again we had to pay the emergency visit cost. She was examined and the vet said she was concerned about a black area that appeared near the wound. Nothing was done but we were charged a great amount for the visit. We again had to take her back a couple days later due to more oozing coming from the wound. Again we had to pay the emergency visit cost. The vet who examined her stated that the black area was dead and needed to be removed, but not on this visit. We were also informed that she on wrong medication to treat her wound. The vet took her to the back, and while back there we could hear our dog crying. It was the saddest thing I have ever heard. The vet scheduled an appointment for our dog to have the dead skin removed. On that day, We took our dog in the morning and she was ready to come home later in the day. As my husband tried to talk to the vet, she told him she did not have time to talk him and walked away. For over a week, we had to take our dog to the vet 4 times, No one would talk to us but they were more than happy to take our money. My husband became frustrated and became upset. The following day, Woodland Vet called my husband to inform him that they would no longer treat our dog. I was more than happy to move her to another vet. The quality of care our dog received was unacceptable. Within a week we paid almost $2000.00. Woodland Vet is all about the money. Each time we went it was an emergency visit and charged the emergency visit cost plus whatever they did to her. I will never go to Woodland Vet again and I will convince my family and friends to take their pets elsewhere.

Very sad and disappointed with this business. I've been taking my dogs there for six years and have excellent credit with them. My dog is very sick and I tried to make an urgent appt. I explained to them that I don't get my check until Monday, would they take a post-dated check--no. I then arranged an emergency transfer from my savings, but explained that the $$ wouldn't be in until tonight. They continued to say they needed payment at the time of service. The office manager proceeded to tell me that dishonoured checks are sent to the District Attorney--thank you, just what I needed to hear when my dog is sick and I'm making every attempt to get the money for them today. They told me to call Care Credit and ask for an increase. I made an earlier appt with another vet who is much less expensive and probably better then Woodland Vet. I will never recommend Woodland Vet to anyone again. They are extremely expensive. There are better vets in Woodland, and cost much less.
